This place came highly recommended, but we didn't get to find out if the tattoos were good or not. We stopped in at the beginning of last week to make appointments for later in the week and put down a deposit. They seemed friendly enough, but our plans changed later in the week so we couldn't make our appointment before flying home. I understand if we couldn't have gotten our deposit back, but just getting an answer would have been nice. When we realized we wouldn't make our appointment 24 hours before, we called and left a message asking if it was possible to get the deposit back, but we never got a call back. I looked around at different tattoo places searching to get a very important piece for my first born daughter. I'm currently breastfeeding my child so a lot of places won't tattoo nursing mothers. But I found 2 Thumb and they were willing to do it and they are very sanitary. Bo did my tattoo and he was amazing!! He took my tattoo very serious because he knew how special and important this was to me. It being placed on my foot he asked me if I was okay and if I needed to take breaks many times. My mom and I decided to get our first tattoos done, finally. We went around looking for quotes for the tattoos we wanted. Most tattoos shops were closed on Sundays and if not the people at other shops were down right rude. Remembered hearing about two thumbs from someone and we decided to check it out. Glad we did too. Super friendly dudes. Bo and Matt are honestly the best. Super friendly and amazing artist. Our tattoos were on point. And for my first tattoo it was a pleasant experience and wasn't as bad as I thought it'd be. I'm planning to get more tattoos in the near future and this is the only place I feel I'll be going too. I just got my 5th tattoo here yesterday! It was just kinda in the spare of the moment ordeal & my artist willing took me in since I just walked in. My go-to tattoo stop. I always see Mike (Habos) and he has never let me down! He's done both font and imagery on me and I am 110% satisfied every time. The shop is always clean, the people and  the atmosphere are welcoming. There is also a restroom! All bonuses in my book. Two thumbs tattoo is the epitome of excellent tattooing on Oahu. I have never met somebody so knowledgable of the art of tattooing as Bo, the owner. His expertise has led him all over the world, and his work shows this. His lines are crisp, bold, and unmatched. Bo is very specific about who he hires in his shops, and I would trust any one of them to permanently mark my body. All of their work is beautiful and showcased in both the Mililani and Aiea shops, all over the walls. The shops are clean and professional, yet a fun and personable environment. I went in for my first tattoo, so I was pret-ty nervous. Mike was my artist and did a great job of reassuring me that I wouldn't die under the needle haha. Even better, the work was clean and precise. Needless to say, I was super pleased with the result. I will definitely go back in for another tattoo when I get some more cash. I got my second tat here from Elton Gemino-Hing and it's awesome!!! He talked me through the procedures and recommended that I use my own artwork. He also made sure I liked the size and location of it. Super friendly and patient. He made me feel comfy and it didn't hurt too much. I didn't curl my toes like I did when I got my first tat in Samoa. haha. I really recommend this place and if you can, request for Elton. Don't think about going here. I see there are many 5 stars but they are a little outdated. My husband made an appointment for us to get a tattoo and paid a deposit and by time I got to the shop my artist bailed. We were supposed to get the tattoos at the same time but was unable to get one because my artist decided he had something better to do than complete a service he was paid to do. My husband ended up getting a tattoo and the other artist said I had to wait more than 4 hours to get mine done (mine would only take 45mins). I did not know that I made an appointment and paid a deposit to sit and wait for my tattoo. AND when I asked how long my husband's tattoo would take so I had an idea of how long I would wait.. they other artist said "why do you have something to do?" in a very snappy tone. Not cool bro. AND when I asked if another artist could do my tattoo - they made it seem like it was a chore. Really?Besides my bad experience with the artists and the scheduling, the shop seems clean but the space is very small and cluttered. The tattooing area is open so you are getting a tattoo right next to someone else. Not private at all. Scheduling errors.Parking is terrible.
