Worst experience ever. Set my appt. up for a Saturday,  went in on Friday to go over what I wanted. Got there before closing, the door was locked. When the guy got up to unlock the door he couldn't take his eyes off the RV show he was watching. When we were able to get him to acknowledge us I showed him what I was wanting. His response was  that it couldn't be done. I ask if he could tweek it so ho could do it, said he would work on it and see me the next day. An hour before my appt. he texted me a terrible rendition of what he had come up with, but...... he didn't have ti.e to get me in.Thank God. I skip pass 15 shop to choose this one But I jus had the worst experience! I came in February 7 talk to Richard About my simple thigh piece cover up! I end up making an appointment March 1st 2017One of the many reasons i pick this place was one it wasn't a tourist pop up tattoo shop and he talk as if he knew what he was doing and been tattooing for 25+. Year We talk and he said what I wanted was easy and that he will draw something up and call me to come back in and see what he has drawn up  I called him on Friday February 23 quick call I said hey this is Maria who getting the thigh piece March 1st  he cut me off and said yeah yeah yeah I have two more drawing before I get to yours and he said he will call me I said okay so Monday morning I sent him a text!  Now it's February 27 9:44 in the morning I sent a text to his phone:Hello This is Maria I have a tattoo scheduled for March 1st at 1:00 Per our conversation we had during the time booking appointment. That you will call me to come in and view the drawing for my thigh piece for cover up a few day before to make sure it was to my liking, and approve drawing before scheduled appointment. you said you didn't send pictures so coming back in was the way to go. We have tomorrow the 28 in front of our appointment and was wondering if I will be able to see something  before my one o'clock appointment on the 1st . Please let me know something as soon as possible. Thank youNow I work mon- Fri 8:30 to 6:30   So my only thing I was trying to accomplish is to see if i need to take off work or take and extra hour or 2 for lunch to go view the drawing but I can't do that if he haven't called me yet so this message was sent for him to say yes I'm done can u come in tomorrow etc. so I can get my time approved So his response to my message was this:In all my years of tattooing I've yet to let anyone leave without a tattoo. The design is complete. I'm gonna refund you your deposit instead. Don't like the pressure and distrust. If you have a PayPal I'll refund you your deposit. Or you can swing by anytime tomorrow and pick it up.So for me it not about letting anyone leave without a tattoo is actually about what you said  you was going to do your word (and every one know the scarface saying) all you got in this world is your balls and your word .  So after the message I called about 10 times no answer but he even made a personal voicemail for me saying something about the message I wrote with profanity.All I wanted to tell him is that I will come in March 1st to get the deposit because I took the whole day offSo long story short I give this place a 1 starThe next day I went in for my deposit back he told me to get out you big mouth bitch before I put you out. And he noted that he's not  giving me shit . Obviously he was upset about my review on their Facebook page. And that he should kick my ass . I left the shop called the police to get my refund. And press charges against him for threats . Sad thing is I just wanted to view the drawing before I got it tattooed .for god sake it's a cover up so of course that's important. It was my first time getting a tattoo and I did not exactly know what to expect. I don't do well with needles, so I was hesitant to go with my son to get the tattoo. I'm sorry I forgot the owner of Red Diamond name, but he did a great job. It took 2 hours to finish the tattoo and I went straight through with no rest times. Roy Uno is amazingly talented. He took my cover up and made a beautiful piece of art. His color work is subtle, nuanced and extremely detailed bringing the subject matter feeling and personality. Got my first tattoo done by Robb back in 2012 at the tattoo convention. Could not ask for a better first experience. After going booth to booth trying to find someone that would be able to help me out (with what was actually a pretty good size piece) I stumbled upon these guys. Only shop at the convention that came prepared with a carbon printer and were more than willing to help me that day. Robb went way beyond good customer service, after about five hours of work I was about ready to call it quits but he told me straight up that he could finish it that day if I was willing to tough it out. My piece was finished that day and I couldn't be more happy with it. No fading haven't needed one retouch yet. Wouldn't think about going anywhere else to get something else done. Read Less
