Excellent shop. High quality work. Personable artists who will work with you on what you want to get and do not balk when you ask for revisions. They are very fairly priced as well. The establishment is very clean, and also has toys and a Netflix capable TV if you have a little one with you that needs entertaining. Shane is the man for cover up tattoos and portrait. I took him a picture and told him the changes that I wanted. He covered 2 tattoos with in and it looks great. I have gotten both tattoos and piercings done here. This place is awesome. They treat you like family and care about you even after the work is done. This is the only shop I have ever been to that doesn't mind questions after you leave the shop and they are willing to help you with your aftercare. This is the best shop I have ever been to. And it's so clean. I have O.C.D and it's hard for me to trust just any place to get work done, but this shop is super clean and the artists are professionals and still friendly. I love it here! I came to have my nose ring removed and have new jewelry put in, but the place I had originally got it done was disastrous. Awesome place! I brought my daughter here to get her cartilage pierced and I got my ears pierced. The staff made us very comfortable and the piercings look amazing. Agape Ink is the place to go in Barrow County! Owner and staff are friendly and professional every time I come in! Shane recently upgraded my owl on my arm and it was the best experience I’ve had in a long time. The shop is very family oriented. I’ve brought my sons in with me twice this week and they are instantly glued to the kids table and toys! It distracted them long enough for me to buy some body jewelry. So I debated about whether or not to write this review. I’m not a mean person, and I hate to bash on people. But I would just hate someone else to go through what I did, or worse. I can’t speak for the tattoos. I got a piercing done about a week ago. Quite frankly, I just don’t think the lady who did it knew quite what she was talking about. I also had some serious issues with her hygiene precautions. I know I should have just walked away, and gotten it done somewhere else, but I didn’t want to come off rude, so I stayed. The piercer was nice and all, but overall it was a terrible experience, and I wouldn’t go back. Or recommend any of my friends to get pierced here. Read Less

Matt is an excellent artist. I drove from Tennessee to Georgia to see family, I let him know ahead of time that I was coming. When I came in I explained what I wanted and he got to work right away. He was very perfessional and made me feel very comfortable. I would highly recommend him to anyone. His work is perfect! I will be traveling to Georgia to see Matt to continue my back piece. Atmosphere was great and very friendly but I'm very upset with my tattoo. I got a cross on my arm with clouds below them, what you would think to be a very simple tattoo, but the lines on my cross are crooked and you can't even tell my clouds are clouds. A piece that probably should have taken a couple hours took 30 minutes. Not only that but the shading in my tattoo is awful. Very upset because I have heard great things about this place but walked away overcharged and not satisfied with what I got. Just got my tattoo done last night by Matt.! He's absolutely incredible. Looking at the stencil and not knowing what colors I wanted on the inside, I was very nervous. Told him I had to trust him on the color because I just wasn't sure. The stencil didn't give much credit to the piece either. Definitely didn't think it'd turn out as awesome as it did. Everyone who has seen Matt's work thus far has been completely astounded by how much detail is in the tattoo and how perfectly... the colors blend.! It's truly an amazing piece, a piece I've wanted for a long time and a piece I look at and smile because of how awesome it looks. He was very professional as well. Well, I read the "amazing" reviews and thought I'd give this place a shot! I live about an hour away and decided to make the drive. My uncle had called to schedule an appointment while I was on the way there. He walked in and wasn't acknowledged at all. We were going to get tattoos of my fathers signature; he passed away on Christmas 10 years ago this year and tomorrow is his birthday. Kind of sucks that we not only wasted our gas but our time. Update: Maybe an hour after I posted my review the owner had contacted me. He was very apologetic and handled the situation greatly. I called ahead because I read great reviews and was interested in a new tatto . I showed up and stood in the waiting room for 20+ min while the few people that were their walked around me , not acknowledging that I'm their at all. I'm not sure why the reviews were so great. I'm not sure why they let me call ahead and take my name down for a supposed appointment if this is the outcome !! I wish I could report the great artwork and outstanding experience but that's definitely not the case. As an update. I was contacted by the owner Shane with in the hour. Judging by our conversation her was truly surprised and upset with how my visit went , and wanted to remedy the situation as soon as possible. Then the next day the manager Matt called me and wanted to here what happened and ensured me this was a fluke and would never happen again . Finally finished my half sleeve yesterday ! I was a little nervous that my tattoo wouldn't blend with the tattoos I already had & of course Lex blended them perfectly . Ew ew ew ew ew . This place was terrible for me and my group of friends . I got my lip pierced and the piercer used the wrong size ring in my lip! I was so swollen and my bar was wayyyyy to short . I was in a terrible amount of pain. I called creative minds to see what was going on and he told me to hurry in ! i went a couple of weeks ago to get my hips periced. payed 85 for both of them. I had no idea what they should look like the owner himself did them, he told me to use dial soap to clean them! water and sea salt to pour on them! which is wrong! do not use soap to clean them! the water is surpose to be warmed then put the sea salt into it. but he FAILED TO MEATION THAT. I went to a place in Athens ga to get more CURVED BARBELLS. the guy looked puzzled when I said I needed them for my hips. NOT SURPOSE TO USE CURVED BARBELLS FOR YOUR HIPS. Because they will not HEAL. I called and spoke with Agape Ink and told them they Caused me to be close to a serious infection. that they did my hips wrong. MATHEW was sorry and said he would do them the correct WAY for free. that he did do them wrong. Great shop. Clean friendly little shop. Very sanitary. Artists are very talented and open to all ideas. Very professional. Pricing is a little high but you definitely GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR.
