Had my first visit here today off a recommendation from a friend! Joey Hulsey did my ink today and this is my favorite piece by far (I have 5)! The shop is clean and very inviting--not blaring screaming rock music on the loudest setting possible like most other tattoo shops. Open floor plan with sheer curtains to pull if you are getting work done in a conspicuous place on your body. Everyone I met was nothing but professional! Joey Hulsey did an amazing job, is not heavy handed at all, and does everything he can to make sure he is giving you the best quality work! So long as he is in business, I won't ever go anywhere else for ink! They even have a "rewards" card! For every $20 spent, they punch a hole and once you reach a certain amount, you get a free piercing; keep going and you get $100 of free tattoo work! Read Less

I had a basic idea of what I wanted and Eddy made a MUCH better version. This is a very meaningful tattoo for me, and it looks great! They were honest with me about the size the tattoo would need to be for the lettering. I would much rather have honesty than not be able to read it in a few years. They worked to find exactly what I wanted and made sure I was happy with every detail. The shop is clean and everyone is friendly. The pricing was more than fair. Some of the greatest guys you will ever meet. Not only do they love and think proudly of their customers but some of the most giving people I have ever known. When a tattoo shop helps hold fundraisers to help less unfortunate kids start school with all the supplies they need that speaks volumes. When a tattoo shop helps go out in the community and cook out for the homeless and pass out socks,jackets,and personal hygiene things to people they don't know and don't judge. That speaks volumes. I have been here several times and have never had a bad experience. Joey and the rest of the staff go out of their way to make you feel comfortable. I have one large arm piece that took three visits to complete and we are working on another piece. They take the time to really understand what the customer wants and they deliver! My 12 year old daughter wanted her cartilage pierced and VRI was the first ones to come to mind. Eddie was great! Joey did a fantastic job in 2013 when I got my 1st tattoo in memory of my dad that passed away and it is even in his book. I was so nervous, but he talked me thought it and eased my nerves, then I went back a few months later and Eddy did a tattoo of tiger and piglet with my kids birthdays incorporated in it and did a wonderful job. And just recently in February I got a breast cancer tattoo in honor of my god mother who overcame breast cancer. My husband and I have been traveling from Alpharetta to Villa Rica for over a year now just to go to this shop. We followed our favorite artist, Kevin, from his old shop in Roswell and we will never go to anyone else or any other shop. The other artists are all incredibly talented and they all have great demeanors with each other and every customer. They have fair prices, clean stations, and a great environment.
