Awesome, relaxed atmosphere. Everyone working here is fun to be around and great at their craft. My previous artist is no longer tattooing, so I came to Grantt Skidmore with a tattoo idea to match some work I already had done. He knocked it out of the park and it matches my other tattoos. He has also tattooed my girlfriend and it turned out amazing. Also, Buck has touched up a small tattoo of mine that was old and faded, and it looks good as new. All of these guys rule. Staff member was very rude. Advised me to go somewhere else. I've seen their work and it looks great. But I showed up THREE TIMES with cash in hand and tattoo picked out. On my final visit, the guy walked off while I was expressing my frustration about being put off so many times. Only reason I didn't give 1 star is because it was clean and artwork looked great. I have been on deployment in the middle east and one of my shipmates and best friends of the 14 years that we have been in, planned on getting tattoos upon my return. So I've been here 3 times in the past two months. Every experience has been exellent. I've received 2 tattoos, and a navel piercing. For my second tattoo, I stopped by before work and spoke to one of the guys. I had to work that night, but he said to drop by when I got off. I didn't get back until about 9:15, but he was so nice and accommodating, and I was out by 10:30. I'm so happy with the work for both pieces and the piercing. Its hard to find a tattoo artist that has both talent AND a good personality. At Jolly Roger, they have both! I have gotten tattooed by Buck, Cody and Grant. Grant has done my last few and I love his creativity and placement of the tattoos...he always makes sure they flow together just right.
