I should've wrote a review a long time ago... Anyway, I absolutely loved my experience here! The wait wasn't that long! And the artist who tattooed me, Mark, was really great! He walked me through the things I should be looking for when I get tattooed such as the cleanliness of the workspace and what they should be doing with their needles. And he made me feel comfortable since this was my first tattoo!! I'm going back again to get another tattoo when I can settle on which one I want!

Between creating an appointment and talking with the artist and his wife, I felt very comfortable with the desicion I made about getting a tattoo at this shop. The day of the appointment, everything went smooth and Mark did a fantastic job!!!! He took his time on my piece and talked to me the entire time and when I left, I felt as if I had known him my entire life. Although Mark took his time, I was in and out of there with my amazing tattoo. The shop was clean and the atmosphere overall was laid back and relaxing. I will definitely go back in the near future and recommend others!

The shop is so clean and welcoming! I got my ears pierced by Jean Simmons and she was wonderful. Very informative and sweet. I am definitely recommending Velvet Rose to other GSU students!!

Jean Simmons and her husband are so kind and genuine. I had a negative experience with a piercing shop years ago, and I was not keen on jumping the gun and making the same mistake. I did my research, and I decided to let Mrs. Jean pierce my daith in each ear and my left outer helix this past Sunday, and it was a great experience! She was so professional and informative, but she was also personable. If I ever get the urge to get more piercings, I'll definitely look her up, but these new holes have to heal first!

First tattoo and getting my womans color put in to her chest piece. Very clean very professional. Daniel and mark are super easy going. Prices are perfect and are way lower then the awesome quality of the work. My womans chest piece was a little messed up and all he spelling issues were corrected and lines straightened out. Awesome place would reccomend to anyone I know.

I went here to get a cover up and it was an amazing experience. Trust was amazing I fell asleep during the shading part and the tattoo came out excellent. The shop was clean, welcoming and well organized. My tattoo artist Trust made me feel at ease and I could barely tell I was getting a tattoo since this made my 11th and it was the only one that wasn't painful. Will be back again for sure.

I stopped in to get some replacement jewelry for one of my piercings. I immediately noticed how clean the shop is. This is a big deal to me. The second thing I noticed is how friendly the owners are. ...
I stopped in to get some replacement jewelry for one of my piercings. I immediately noticed how clean the shop is. This is a big deal to me. The second thing I noticed is how friendly the owners are. No attitudes in here! Jean and Mark were so welcoming and very accommodating. They even mentioned some specials they are running through the Velvet Rose Facebook page. While I wasn't initially in the shop to get tattooed, I will absolutely be back for that. I felt so comfortable and welcome, it would be well worth the drive to go back and get a new tattoo from Mark. I am so glad to have found this shop!

The shop was clean, welcoming and well organized.
