Usually you would have to shedule an appointment to get your tattoo done but no this tattoo parlor you can walk in get your tattoo and walk out. The one thing that I noticed after I had my first tattoo was how considerate and how caring they were about treatment for my tattoo which is very professional in my opinion and I really appreciate how they gave me tips on how to take care of my brand-new tattoo while it's in the process of healing. The pricing is expensive but that's normal for a professional tattoo parlor. I love how when I first got my tattoo the music wasn't as friendly but it was funny but I like heavy metal so the music was pretty good. Chose this shop based on recommendations from several buddies who had work done here over the years who said the owner, Dave, was the best and a super good dude who ran a clean shop.  Brought in a custom piece and he was honest and direct in suggesting what needed to be done to have the piece turn out best. Not sure how they set their prices but my son's 2 inch, 2 block letters that took 18 minutes and no artistic interpretation that was printed at the front counter by the receptionist using MS Word cost $90! Between myself and my boyfriend we have 12 tattoos (full sleeve, to small calligraphic writing), done by various ACTUAL Atlanta artists that did not cost that "rate"! Beware. Ask the price first. Needed to find a new artist and started asking around. Dave's name kept popping up. Went in got a little flash, and talked with Dave about a piece on my forearm. Paid a deposit, and a week or 2 later I'm sporting a great looking piece. I'm always getting stopped by people wanting to ask who did it, and where the shop is. When my kid wanted a tattoo for her 18th birthday I took her straight to Dave.There are a lot of shops to choose from in the Atlanta area, but I'll stick with Good Clean Fun. For my second tattoo, I researched shops around metro Atlanta for over a year. The biggest deterrent to choice is the attitude of the staff. Tattooing is scary. It is a sub-culture that not many of us are familiar with or accustomed to. When I walked in GCF, i had the pleasure of being greeted by the owner. We talked about my needs, and he answered questions I had. In less than 20 minutes I set up an appointment with him. He keeps his schedule on his phone. Dave is a professional guy, respectful, matter-of-fact, and very nice. If you want someone to sugar coat something for you, this isn't the place to go. He is the professional, and he will tell you what he can and cannot do, and what is attainable by industry standards. Listen to him. What you want may not translate to a tattoo. He will offer alternate suggestions. I had to reschedule the day before my appointment. When I went in a week later, he brought out the design for my review and approval. This is a clean shop. He follows state rules and regulations and gets down to business. My session was about 90 minutes. We took a break about halfway in. Other staff came in and chatted with him and also checked to see how I was doing. This was a great experience. The music is fantastic in Good Clean Fun. These guys are real. They are artists. The aftercare instructions are clear and concise. I am very pleased with my artwork and the final product. If I had to say anything was not what I expected it would be the size and price. Dave did an excellent job creating the tattoo I wanted to have in memory of my amazing grandma who recently pasted away. She was born in Holland and my father's side of the family too. I showed him an image of a windmill and tulips I was interested in and a couple changes I mentioned. He designed a the tattoo perfectly and placed it just right. My first tattoo was 22 years ago. Dave Attonito was working at a shop somewhere in Gwinnett where I lived at the time. Since then, I have followed Dave where ever he went. (Even though I live an hour away now) He ended up opening his own shop in Lawrenceville for a while, and now the shop resides in Snellville. I have been tattooed by Dave numerous times. From traditional style, Japanese style, color, black and gray, animated, lettering, etc...The man can do it all. Every spring/summer (short sleeve or no sleeve season) people I don't even know always walk up to me and compliment my tattoos and ask where and who did the work. I got so tired of explaining where, when, and who, that now I just carry a handful of Good Clean Fun business cards in my purse and hand it to them. (no lie, ask my mother) They say "you get what you pay for" and tattoos are permanent. Just because you can draw, doesn't mean that you're an artist much less a tattoo artist. I have been to other shops. Shops closer to my house. I have looked at other portfolios. I've seen good work, but not as good as Daves. My gut has never EVER trusted anyone else to tattoo me. And you should always go with your gut. So, if you want good work, honest answers, in a clean shop, make the drive to Good Clean Fun and ask for Dave. You won't regret it...EVER Read Less

Do not ever go here. These men are very disrespectful to women. They wouldn't draw what we wanted them to draw and because we weren't satisfied with the drawings they kicked us out of their shop. They locked us in and threatened to physically remove us out of their shop. They quote on quote said they would lay us out. Bullying is never okay. And that is exactly what these two were promoting. I do not recommend this tattoo shop to anyone looking for a great tattoo in a great social environment. If there was a zero star review that's what I would rate them. DO NOT GO HERE! I had a perfectly pleasant experience at Good Clean Fun, and I am absolutely making this my place. The atmosphere was super comfortable- the artists talked to me and joked around with one another, unlike some places I've been where I didn't get spoken to throughout the entire tattoo. The artists are very talented, precise, and straightforward. I was tattooed by Morgan, who clearly wanted to make sure I was happy, and able to walk out with a well done tattoo that will stand the test of time. He went over my idea with me, and I ended up giving him the reigns. These guys are cool, and if you don't take well to sarcasm they may offend you. My friend decided to get a tattoo from the same artist, Nick, as she did 2 years ago at Good Clean Fun Tattoo last week.  He was nice and made sure she was comfortable.  My other friend decided to get one as well, but was not completely sure how she wanted it to look. I've had several pieces done here over the past 5-6 years and Dave, Guillermo and crew have never failed to impress. From 9-10 hours of custom work to 30 minutes of dumb tattoos you thought of on a whim, they always give the same attentiveness to detail and artistry. I'm sure I will collect other tattoos from other artists as time progresses, but the guys at GCF are my standard and have also educated me on what a good tattoo and a good artist is. For the reviewers slamming the attitude, etc. Don't be a dumbass...don't price shop for your tattoo, don't get pissed off when a professional, experienced tattoo artist tells you it is a bad idea. Like I said, don't be a dumbass, don't come with attitude of your own. You want to piss off the person putting permanent ink on your body? My experience here was great.  Dave treated me like a real person.  He didn't act like I was bothering him when I walked in and wanted to get something done.  I've gotten that type of attitude in other shops. If he wanted to be arrogant he could be, he's fairly well known in the industry, just do some googling. Those two at the bottom are ridiculous... I only have a couple tattoos, one of which came from Good Clean Fun, and my wife has two, one of which came from Good Clean Fun. Both of them were done by Dave, and he did 'heckle' me about my original tattoo.. but it's cool, I probably deserve it....My wife's first tatto from him was on her foot, it's a Sailor Jerry Sixtopus, and the design of it caused one of the legs to go down the side of her foot, which she liked, and Dave flat out told her 'it'll look good there for maybe a year, and then bleed out and look like sh....', which we GREATLY APPRECIATED. He then gave his recommendation on where to have that last leg go for longevity of the tattoo... and it's been great ever since she got it... going on three years now... And mine looks great too!If you think a little 'arrogance, heckling or judgement' is rude from the guy that's about to put the tattoo on you... then what do you think you're going to receive from your 'friends' that are going to have the same thought... like Eowyn said "If you can't defend your tattoo, frankly you shouldn't be getting it."Dave's place is awesome, all his equipment was sterile and came out of new bags, he's got tons of art to choose from, plus pretty much put together whatever you want... They are totally not worth your time. The owner is VERY rude and no one there seems like they want to work. I don't understand why you would treat a potential customer so rude, but you would think they might have a little respect considering they are trying to make money. This is the only place I trust to do my tattoos. I grew up in Snellville, so this place was just around the corner for me. This is THE place everyone went to to get their tattoos done. I've gotten 2 done here and my mom has gotten 3!A couple of things: The tattoo artists are straight up with you. As mentioned in the review before mine, they don't do foot tattoos. They won't tattoo a gf or bf's name on you (they are doing you a favor here). They won't give you a tattoo that will start to bleed together in 4 - 5 years time (unlike many others who will and do!). This is all because they value the integrity of their art! They put the customer's need first which don't always coincide with their wants. Upon entering this place, be ready to get heckled. If you are getting a small heart or a cliche japanese character tattoo, they will heckle you. Just about anything you get they will heckle you, unless it is a giant back piece or something really macho. It is all in good fun. If you are chill about it, they warm up to you. I think it is their way of testing if you really want your tattoo or not. If you can't defend your tattoo, frankly you shouldn't be getting it. The tattoo artists here may be a little on the arrogant side, but they know their stuff and have the art degrees to prove it.
