Visited several shops along River Street, but was mainly here for bear claws at River Street Sweets, and sunglasses. Plenty of nice patrons, sun not too hot and breeze going. Crafts fair took place across the streey from the shops. Read Less

Such a Great place to spend the whole day you can go shopping, get a bite to eat, or a drink, go on a Ferry ride or a Trolly... There are endless things to do. Or you can just stroll around. And the people were all so nice! What a memorable day I spent there! Read Less

Right in the middle of the historic area in Savannah. Very artsy and so many things to do. The prohibition museum is also there and worthwhile seeing. All the vendors are so nice and my wife purchased what she says one of the most comfortable shoes from a scad graduate. The name of her business is the Carolina shoe company. There is an array of shops, vendors and dining options here. You a can leisurely stroll river street and enjoy the day viewing and purchasing unique souvenirs. Some shops even offer free samples, my favorites are the peanut factory and the ice cream shop yum yum. Take a tour, there is a variety to choose from or go on the river cruise... that's a treat! Love going down to River Street with my family when i visit! The open container laws makes the whole experience that much better. The street performers and market are a real treat. I love the small shops that offer something for everyone. They are a pleasure to walk through and explore while enjoying the air conditioning. We came to Savannah without any pretense or knowledge and stumbled across this little market next to the water... It was AWESOME! It reminded me of a scene from an old Vampire Romance or something. Very French Quarter feeling! Loved it! Read Less

So fun! There's so many cool shops here. I loved the sweet candy shops. The souvenir shops were cute, though in reality, a lot of them sold the same things. The area where vendors can sell there own stuff was nice too. It was just really nice and makes you feel like you belong.Read Less

We do enjoy Riverstreet, wonderful breeze, great shops and yummy restaurants. You can stroll along the waterfront and watch the people pass by. Later at night, its more of a nightlife, bars are open until 2AM Read Less

Went from Pub to Pub to restaurant to shops. Bought some wonderful items from the Bee shop. Kept their business card so I can reorder. Had a wonderful time watching the Eagles flying and diving into the river, catching fish and flying off to their nests. That was truly amazing. I want to go back and this time spend a couple of days.
