Alright so I went in yesterday and told them I wanted a sun. They said no problem we will call you when we have an opening. I got a call around 4 to come in. When I got in I talked to a very nice lady behind the counter. And said my artist is getting ready for me. Once she was ready she waved me over. And asked if I was ready. They failed to ask how big I wanted the tattoo and they lady didn't even talk to me through out the tattoo. As you can see in the photo the suns circle is lopsided which is really irritated and also you can see a dot where she thickened the line to much. Okay, so a friend and I went in to ask for some quotes on a tattoo. I showed her the pic and where I wanted it. She gave me a price which was decent. $60 for what I wanted done. So, I made an appointment. Came in and noticed that the 1st one was kind of small, so I asked if she could make it a little bigger. (I'm not sure if it was because I asked her to make it bigger, but it felt weird after that) Which she did. Now since I couldn't see well I asked my friend if it was centered and she said it was. So she started doing the tattoo. I Got home and noticed that the dots were not centered and the lines are not straight. I felt like she could be a little bit more of a people person. After a less than stellar experience at Second skin, and wanting to give a local shop shop a chance I went to Ken' s. Couldn't ask for a better experience for my 6th tattoo! Hands down will be going back !!!! I went in yesterday for a watercolor feather tattoo and Rose 🌹 was absolutely AMAZING... she nailed it . I had my tattoo done in memory of my mother and she captured everything I wanted and then some . I started planning my next tattoo with Rose before I even left . I watched another person get the rest of their sleeve done and was Amzed by that artist also . You cannot go wrong with this place . Horrible service I scheduled an appointment in advance for and when I showed up for my appointment at 12:30 on a Saturday they told me they were too busy and I could probably come back around 6 and if I did not want to wait to just go get a tattoo somewhere else.. who says that to someone who made an appointment!? Kens tattoo shop is awesome! As soon as we stepped foot into that shop everyone was super nice. Bryan the tattoo artist who helped me and my sister was amazing! his work was absolutely beautiful and he was a honest and nice guy! I got a small bird on my shoulder blade and it is absolutely gorgeous!! The beautiful and talented Rose was very kind and finished very quickly. This was my first tattoo so I was a bit nervous, but she dealt with my occasional twitching and did a fantastic job. This Tattoo Shop has a great business model. You walk in to a friendly staff that doesn't seem overly aggressive. I was first greeted by Joe, who set me up with Rose who does great work. However, due to the amount of time my ink would take, and the time she had between customers, Joe stepped up and squeezed me in. I didn't expect that, and I really appreciate them being able to work with my schedule. I saw Joe and Rose work with several other customers while I was there, and I have to say that I had never seen another shop offer the same professionalism that I saw from them. Poor service. I went in at 12:05pm today to get a tattoo. I stood at the counter for 10 mins several artists were either behind the counter or walking around. I told one of them I wanted a tat. Two male  customers walked in and the artist I told I wanted a tat too greeted them as soon as they walked in. He asked what they wanted and quoted a price them. Meanwhile I'm still stand there waiting. I finally said fuck it and walked out. I went to Second Skin and got my new tat which I love. I'm so glad I went back. Read Less

My wife and I went to Ken's last Saturday.  We were greeted by Ken and he immediately went to work creating a stencil for the tattoos we wanted.  It looked like one of his artists would be doing our tattoos but, since she was busy, Ken actually did both of our tattoos.  My wife has a few others but this was my first.  She and I were both extremely happy with the entire experience and the finished product.  Ken made some helpful suggestions on the design and improvised a little as he actually applied the tattoos.  I am very picky and don't have a single complaint.  My wife said this is the absolute best experience and best tattoo she ever got.  The place was clean and everybody was very professional and friendly.  All of the artists seemed just as professional but I am so happy with this entire experience, I would definitely ask for Ken for any future tattoos. I will start by saying that I have 38 tattoos and all by Ken. This guy is professional and will help you every step of the way. He has drawn up tattoos for me and used stencils from the wall with no trouble keeping in the lines. Ken has fixed tattoos from other shops that were screwed up. The work he does is second to none. Ken is very friendly and if he cannot fit you in that day you will be first in line the next day or get an appointment at the time of your choosing. Check this awesome tattoo shop out.
