I went there a month ago to get my first tattoo a month later tatoo looks like the ink get off in some parts so I went there to get it fix and all were despot to me for the job they did wrong make me wait for three hours only one costumer and then by texting and wasting time so I’ll be desesperate and leave finally they make me bleed so bad on my small tatoo and did not even care to clean or put something on it Rick was so angry because he wont get any money by fixing my tattoo. yeah he didn’t do it but if he was going to act like that why he didn’t tell me come back when sergio the guy who did return Rick the most horrible person I've ever met in my life Read Less

I have officially found my new local tattoo place! I called around 11 on a Wednesday to see if the place was actually still open, given that so many shops seem to just ignore their posted hours and info. Luckily for me, Rikki was still there and more than willing to give me some late night ink. I definitely wouldn't trust just any shop with this- the tattoo is on my hand so not exactly concealable! It came out even better than I imagined!!! Rikki was so nice and understanding and stay way past closing to make sure the design was EXACTLY what I wanted before needle touched skin. I had Rikky do my first big tattoo back in 2009 now all I did was tell him a vague idea of what I wanted which was a shooting star. Not only did he draw it out on me and not drawn on paper first but he got it so perfect it's not even funny he knew I didn't want any color but he managed to do the most amazing shading I had ever seen in my entire life and to this day people are still amazed at how great the tattoo looks and it has been eight years. Rikky, the shop owner, is pretty cool. I've had 2 tats done by him and a piercing so far. When I decide to get another piercing or tattoo I definitely will be going to him first if I am in the area. His prices are pretty decent. I believe his tattoos start at $35 depending on the size but his prices forHis larger tattoos are pretty reasonable and he does a great job.  I have one on my ankle and one on the back of my neck.I think paid $40 for each, done at different times, but I always get complemented on those two. Rikky is a natural artist and the tattoos he does reflects that. As far as the piercings, I've only gotten my belly pierced here. The price was $40. Everything that was used was sterile and new. My belly ring came packaged in its own sealed bag. The only thing I wasn't too happy about is the ring looks a little crooked. The girl who pierced my belly had me lay down but I'm not sure how she ended up piercing my stomach at an angle but when I looked at my stomach in the mirror I realized that my ring slants to the side. When I adjusted it I realized that it is the hole, not the ring. It's not that bad that I wanted to go back to have it fixed but just a heads up if you get your belly pierced here. Let Rikky do the piercing or make sure you are standing up, not laying down when the piercing is done. Overall I still give this shop 4 stars. Read Less

I got my nose pierced in less than 15 minutes. I was shocked how quick they were and most of the time was me being scared of the needle. It ended up not hurting at all and she kept me laughing so I wouldn't notice. If I have any other random ideas for piercings, I'd definitely go back! They're very customer friendly. Read Less

First I went to Noble House Tattoo in Stockbridge and asked for a quote for a tattoo of a heart with 2 initials on my wrist. Literally there was only 4 inches of space to work with, so a small tattoo was my only option. I wanted it outlined in black and colored in with red yellow and green. I was quoted $150 at the first place, and I really thought my day was going to end without getting the tattoo I've been wanting for so long. Well after driving around I found Inkers Republ...ic, and looked them up on google, and they had some awesome reviews. Well unfortunately no one was there when I got there, but I was committed to this project so I waited 45min. For someone to come back. It was well worth the wait, and I would do it again. Rikki was friendly, professional, quick and to the point. He was able to give me a quote over the phone without even seeing a picture first, and the price range was between $40-$60. Wayyyy better than Noble House. He finished it in seriously, 15 minutes. I was so impressed with his work, I asked him to fix the horror story "tattoo" I've had on my side for the past 3 years. He was able to go over the lettering, and even made the old tattoo appear to be background shading and intentional. Plus, it only cost me $100. Decided to get my nose pierced again and searched Yelp for a location nearby that was still open. I was pleasantly surprised by how friendly and welcoming everyone was.
