I just got my sleeve finished by Rich a couple of days back -- he is patient, professional, clean with is work, and especially understanding. The shop is notably clean, and it was comfortable to spend an extended amount of time there during my session. I just got my sleeve reworked and finished here -- let me tell you, these guys are THE BEST! I booked my apointment with Rich.  As you know, making appointments with artists can be a real pain in the a** (the art isn't ready, isn't what you are looking for, costs too much, etc).  That wasn't the case, and I was/am presently surprised at how easy this was with Rich and Royal Ink Studios.  Prior to my appointment, I sent a photo to what I wanted to Rich.  He said he would do exactly that, and gave me a range of prices to expect (which were also less than what I anticipated, I should say).  The day of my appointment, I had some things fall through which allowed me to come into the studio earlier than we had planned.  Not only did Rich accommodate, he even BOUGHT BE BREAKFAST (doughnuts, because who doesnt like doughnuts?!).  Once we confirmed the final details of the art, I was promptly under the gun.  Rich has been tattooing professionally for years now, and it certainly shows!  He knew when I needed to break and didn't give me s***, if I needed something additional.  He didn't kill me with how heavy handed some artists can be either.The tattoo took between 3-4 hours.  Before I left, Rich and Rey gave me a few Royal Ink stickers, and a t-shirt on the house.  When I left, I didn't feel drained or beat or chewed up -- just a little tired (I've felt much worse after some tattoos before, believe me).  The aftercare instructions were provided and I was on my way! 5/5 would come back -- great guys, notably clean shop, excellent work, great prices.  All around the best shop I have been to! I participated in Toys for Tats which was their toy drive/tattoo deal a few days ago.I had only ever done Friday the 13th and based on the line outside then, I came a few minutes early but was surprised and happy to see i was the only one. so i got in and out first which was great because i had work a couple hours later. the tattoo i had in mind was pretty simple and i know the artist Rey was probably pretty bored with the lack of shading i wanted lol. but we came to an amazing compromise with those little lines as shading, it was  what i wanted but better! It is the cleanest and nicest shop I have ever stepped foot in ( and I have been tattooed in at least 8 different shops). The artist are extremely knowledgeable and professional. Ray Figueroa was my artist and is the owner, and he has won a number of awards at several tattoo conventions( the awards are displayed in the shop). His grey wash is the best I have ever seen, and his color work is phenomenal as well. I would highly recommend this shop to anyone who wants a top notch tattoo. I wish I would have gone to him for the several sub par tattoos I have had done. The shop inside is as nice as the tattoos they provide. The portfolios of the other artist shows that they only let the best artists work in their shop. I can’t wait to get my next tattoo there. Ray has an extremely light hand, so the pain was considerably less then the other tattoos I have on the same area of my other arm. The price was really cheap considering the quality of work that I was given. From now on I will not let anyone but Ray touch my skin, I am so glad my friend told me to come check his shop out. If you want an exceptional tattoo for a really good price you need to look nowhere else. If you live in the Atlanta area and don't come here to get tattooed by Ramiro then you are insane. I just moved to the area from Phoenix and was looking to find my new tattoo spot. This happened to be pretty close to where I lived and after checking out three or four shops and looking at work online I knew that Ramiro was going to be able to knock my tattoo out of the park and that is exactly what he did. He has an incredible eye for detail and the patience to get your tattoo perfect. I have also never had a tattoo heal so easily and I have already received more complements on the new one than any other tattoo I have. I have a total of six tattoos and Rey has done all of my tattoos but two. The two I had done before I found Royal Ink and Rey were over priced, the artists didn't take the time to get/make the BEST result that I wanted and quite frankly 95% of the time the workers at tattoo shops are assholes. I had the complete opposite experience at Royal Ink Studio. They are friendly, they will work with you to make your tattoo perfect and how you want it and they care about making relationships with their clients. I highly recommend Royal Ink Studio plus their prices are reasonable, it is clean and the atmosphere is very mellow.
