I went here about a year ago to get my nose pierced. When I first walked in, no one greeted me and I was ignored while I just stood there unsure of who to talk to since there was no one at the counter. Fast forward to the actual piercing, the piercer told me it was against the law to have someone in the room with me when he pierced me and he made my boyfriend sit in the waiting area and I had to go in by myself. I got another piercing this year at a different shop in town and they said that I could have someone in the room with me, so that tells me that the piercer here was lying to me. Never going back. Came to get my nose re-pierced & was AMAZED. it was SO clean, everyone was extremely knowledgeable and polite, plus it only took 20 mins as a walk-in on a Saturday. Went here a few weeks ago to get my first tattoo. Based on the other reviews I thought I would have a good experience.  I called before we went to set up an appointment. They said they don't make appointments over the phone. We drove around for nearly 20 minutes trying to find a parking spot in downtown Macon which was awful in itself. Then when we got in the guy at the counter asked me what I wanted. I told him and he said to have a seat.  He pointed to a guy that was eating and said he would be with me in a minute because he was the only one without an appointment. Everyone that came in had tons of tattoos and it seemed like they all knew each other. After he was finished eating he came over to talk. He said he couldn't tattoo me that night because they were booked solid, which I didn't understand because he didn't have an appointment and I previously called and tried to make an appointment. Then the idea he had about my tattoo didn't make any sense; I could tell he didn't take me seriously.  He told me to write me name and number on a sticky note which I did. However, he didn't write down the kind of tattoo I wanted. Regardless to say I went somewhere else that night and got a tattoo I'm totally happy with. The guy never called me back about the tattoo. I have been having migraines and tension headaches for most of my life. I'd been considering daith piercings but get acupuncture, massage, and was managing it that way. They've been getting more frequent and worse lately, and today I finally hit my breaking point and went in to see Structure. The relief from my headache was so instantaneous, I didn't feel either needle. There was some pressure and then my headache was suddenly gone. I can feel all the muscles that usuall...y tense up during headaches loosening up and I've got all the endorphins right now. I don't have any idea what the long term effects will be but I can tell my condition is going to improve a lot, if it doesn't make it go away completely. I wish I'd done this years ago! As for the studio, it was clean, the staff was friendly. Ben was at the front desk and was helpful, explaining the piercing and advising on jewelry. As most of you know i have suffered with headaches and migraine for years. After two trips to the ER this month I made an appointment. I woke up Saturday with another headache. I got the daith piercings done around 1 today. Needless to say, I was terrified, but was assured about the process. The left ear hurt more than the right side. I could tell a difference after one ear completed. By the time Structure finished the procedure my head ache was completely gone. I have nothing but great things to say about this place. I love all the people there, now. Let's start with tattoos. Each artist has their own AMAZING talent. I couldn't complain about a single one of them. I only go to Kevin Dixon now but if I had to, I wouldn't mind going to someone else. The shop itself is extremely clean. They are all very prideful artists that make sure they take care of all of their equipment and surroundings. If you're considering getting any tattoo work done in the future whether near or far, this is your place. Onto piercings. Structure is by far the best piercer I've ever dealt with. I got my septum done by him and I would honestly go get more piercings from him. He makes it easier and talks to you about the whole process and makes sure you're educated on how to take care of it. Micah did a phenomenal job on a small cover up for me! We did a mountain scene over a flower I had on my ankle. He had some awesome color ideas and it looks amazing! I'm beyond happy with it. Micah was so patient with me, as I was in pain. He got the job done even with my wiggles and flinches and I am in love with it! The shop is really clean and the staff is super friendly. I started emailing questions a little over a month before and they got me linked up with Micah who sat down with me for a consultation. After that we set up an appointment for my tattoo. I had the daith piercings done about two months ago at the urging of my husband. I've been plagued with migraines for many years. After fighting my last one for three days, I had enough! Structure explained the process thoroughly and the all materials used were sterilized. Needless to say, I was terrified, but he put me at ease. The right ear hurt, the side where I had the migraines, but it was not unbearable. I didn't feel the left side at all. I said goodbye to my last migraine about 15 minutes after he was done. The only place to go in Macon if you want a well done, and quality piece. It may not have the low prices like a tattoo parlor beside a gas station, but you are paying for not only the clean equipment, nice space/ venue, but also the skill of the artist. Amazing experience! Went in a couple months ago and got my industrial bar pierced the guy who did it was great. I was so nervous about getting it done but he was laughing and joking the whole time and made it easier for me. I first checked out Cherry Street Ink sometimes between February and March 2014 for a semicolon tattoo on the inside of my L ankle. it was my second small tattoo, I love it. Cherry Street Ink is a clean, professional option for tattoos & piercings. I had a nostril ring done during summer of 2015, Structure is excellent and gave great instructions about aftercare. I never take out my nosering & had to remove it for an emergency surgery last spring -- Structure put a new one in for $10. great deal. I went in for a consult I had scheduled in advance and when I showed up, they didn't even know I was coming. I showed up with my ideas hoping Id get help on getting it to where I was happy and it was something the artist could do. I got very little help and a lot of "I can't do this". That was fine, but I didn't get much more help than that. He was busy so my "consult" was rushed and not even half of what I expected it to be. The artist himself does great work, I've seen pictures..just not very personable when I went in. I will not be doing business with them. I had read the reviews on Cherry Street Ink, and it made me feel as if I could really go there and feel comfortable. I'm in my 40's and this is my first (small) tattoo, a semicolon. Ashlie did it and helped me feel very comfortable. I'm a nurse, and besides the great, welcoming atmosphere, the hygienic conditions were impeccable, I took notice. Kyle "the Butcher" Ake is working in this shop.His talent is probably 10 years from being even close to whats needed at a shop with CSI's reputation. If Tattoo Nightmares TV show came to Macon looking for ink to fix, I would put money on them being able to fill more than one show fixing Kyle's "work".
