Got my cartilage pierced here. Out of all the piercing & tattoo places I've been to in multiple locations & countries...this is my favorite. Super professional, but laid back. The tattoo artists have their portfolios laid out so anyone can look at it & choose an artist. The guy that did my piercing (I forgot his name), he does the body piercing there. He was sooo nice & really knew what he was doing. Everything was super clean, which is something that's really important to me at these studios. I got my first tattoo with planet ink about a year ago and everyone was very nice and encouraging when I got it. The artist was kind and funny and kept talking to me as he did the tattoo because I was really nervous. Didn't feel much pain because of it and am currently planning on going back for my second. I went to Planet Ink in Canton back in December. My artist's name is Todd Glidewell. He was super awesome and obviously great at what he does. The only downside to the experience was that the shop was under construction, so no decor and nothing to really look at. I just got another tattoo at another shop recently and I was talking to my artist about that. He said he thinks that location has been in construction for awhile now. That didn't affect the stars I because I personally don't care about what it looks like, just the fact that it was a very reputable place. My tattoo was something I found on Pinterest, so nothing original. It was on my ribs. He did a great job of replication from picture to ink. My boyfriend at the time got a quote with a tribal symbol on the back of his left shoulder. My tattoo was $60 which is base price for a tattoo there. His was $120 (it was much bigger than mine). My brother and I went to Planet Ink to get tattoos together. My brother likes more traditional style, so his artist was Bre. We were in a rush because my brother is in the army so we only had a couple of days to get a tattoo. Bre started drawing up my brother's tattoo and felt that she didn't want to rush it which is respectable in my eyes. She seems like a perfectionist which seems to be desirable in a tattoo artist. My brother will be visiting her in June to get his tattoo.Facility: The building itself is very clean. I've been in tattoo shops that are kind of dark and they don't make me feel to comfortable. Planet Ink is neutral and well lit. They have separate rooms for every artist and every room has a tv. There's drinks that you can purchase and it's just a very laid back environment. This was my first tattoo, but I didn't really have a preference in style type. My artist's name was Rich and he's a manager at Planet Ink. He made me feel very comfortable with the whole process. Rich is a super laid back guy who can hold a conversation for 3 hours. What really stood out to me was the fact that they closed at 9 and Rich started my tattoo at 8 anyway. He stayed 2 hours past close to finish up my tattoo. After the 3 hours, he gave me a great deal on my tattoo that kept it way below my budget. Just got my belly button pierced at Planet Ink. Called ahead before I went in and they gave me all the information I needed to know about what I needed for a piercing. Went in later that day to get it pierced, the inside is very clean and comfortable. I got pierced by a girl ( I forgot her name) but she was super chill and made the experience less nerve wrecking. I'm surprised this place hasn't received more reviews. I honestly don't think many people know it even exists. On the outside, it looks like your run-of-the-mill tattoo shop, but inside the facilities are spectacular, clean, and very comfortable. There are TVs in the rooms to distract you from the process itself if you are the squeamish type.I went here last week to get a cover-up piece done and it exceeded all of my expectations. Bob (my artist) was very friendly and professional, and made every effort to ensure that the cover tattoo would completely erase the old. He was very meticulous and did a fine job with every minor detail.I would definitely recommend this place and plan on returning for more work in the future. I had a lovely time getting my 6th tattoo done here a few months ago. Surprised it hasn't been reviewed yet. Everyone was very nice, they helped us figure out exactly what would look and work out best. The artist we had, I forget his name, I have his card so I can go back to him though. If I find it I will edit this post.Anyways, he was a nice guy, easy to talk to as well. We were being tattooed for about 4 hours total and he carried a nice conversation the whole time.
