Very good haircut. My barber was very comfortable shaping up my 6 month grown beard. Side by side barber and tattoo shop (separated by a wall and doorway). Very long wait despite and appointment (roughly 45 minutes). The heavy metal music playing in the establishment was a nice change of pace, and I thought it was very chivalrous when the staff would change songs with "less impressionable" whenever children were present. This was my first time getting a tattoo. I'm afraid of needles but reaching a certain age. So I said what the heck... I will do it. I walked in and was greeted (loved that by the way). I was introduced to Chip and explained what I wanted and that it would be my first time. Chip was extremely patient and answered all of my questions even though I wasn't getting one that day. I dropped in later that week on a Friday and asked if he could do it after I got off. He adjusted things so when I called to say I was on my way, he was ready for me. Chip was very patient and made sure I understood the process. I think a lot of customer service so he made a great impression. Throughout the entire time he was gentle and I was completely comfortable; so much that I was shocked when he was done. When I looked at my tattoo in the mirror I was floored! It was beautiful. I had a hard time finding someone to finish a tattoo for me that I wanted a lot of stipple shading done on. Frank was totally down for it and killed it in a couple of hours. Been in the hunt since moving here a couple months ago, thought I found a place then sat there almost 2 hours watching employees leave and not get spoken to. I jumped on Google and I literally left another shop to come to olde tyme and couldn’t be happier! Not only is it the best cut I’ve gotten since moving from DC, but the customer service is excellent!!! I highly recommend Olde Tyme to anyone getting a haircut! We always go here bc Chip is an amazing artist, there's no one I trust more than him, and he's an all around great guy, if you want/need new ink, he's your man. Today we came in for another reason, my 7 year old son wanted a new haircut, not just any cut, we're talking a foot of hair being chopped off. We had an appointment with James, and I could not be more pleased and impressed. I was nervous and maybe even shed a tear or two, but the process wasn't nearly as painful as I thought it would be. Great place to get a hair cut. It's clean, they pay attention, they take their time, and are good barbers. They're not in the "in and out" style business which is why I enjoy this barber and continue to go back. They cost a little more that Super Cuts or Sports Clips but it's money well spent and you pay for what you get, which is a quality cut that you know was done well. Read Less

If you're looking for a great barber, look no further.  I go to Tracey, and she never disappoints.  I cannot speak for the tattoo artists here, but from what I've seen, they do quality work as well.  I always have a hard time finding a barber that can do a good fade.  For some reason that is rare to find.  Tracey excels at that and also does coloring, shaving, women's hair, the works.  She can do designs as well in your hair if you ask.  Very talented!  One thing I thought was really cool about this place is that they offer you a beer or refreshment for while you get your hair cut.  What more can you ask for? They are great! I went in and told JohnCasey exactly what I wanted and he drew it up. It looked better than I had even imagined! He took his time (even staying after the shop had closed by a couple hours) to make sure he got every detail correct. Charged me less than what was expected from this gorgeous tattoo and was an all around nice guy. This place is friendly and once they see you & their work they get to know you and make you feel welcomed. I am only giving this a poor-fair review because there is not a worse option...I got a tattoo from this place, I ended up stopping the "artist" before he completed the "tattoo" it is so horrible and SOO not what I wanted that I am now in the proccess of having it removed. You guys would love this place!!! If your nervous to get a tattoo relax with getting your hair shampoo and cut by the famous Tony. You will be very pleased of how nice all the guys are. After meeting everyone and having a good fill of the place I think you would fill comfortable enough to get a tattoo. I know of Eli's work and man is he good. The other guys work is good too! You should def. go by and check them out. Oh I forgot to tell you the location. Now we all know its all about the location.
