My hubby has several tattoo's done by him as well. Howard was my piercer, he's the best around, hands down. Made me super comfortable, explained everything he was doing and even "distracted" me at the exact moment he did the actual peircing. I freaking love both of them. A very professional, clean shop & a perfect health score. Only top notch equipment & pigments used by an amazingly talented, very experienced crew. No rockstar attitudes from the artists & no insane pricing just because they’ve been featured in a magazine or have won awards. Unfortunately I have found that to be an issue with artists/shops in the past. I would feel comfortable referring anyone to this shop. Bc I know that they do not pass judgment regarding client’s lifestyle..as it is not a social club. Yet they are very social & humorous. They seem to be patient with first timers & never act to cool to do a small tattoo. IMO, there’s a an artist on staff to suit anyone & everyone. They can & will work with you to achieve the art that you truly want. Also, with such a great crew..they handle walk-ins as easily as a client that had booked their appointment 3 months prior. Chris did my cover up 3 days ago & I'm loving it so much. He drew it up himself right then & was easy to be around & didn't make things awkward while he was doing it. On a whim I decided to get a septum piercing... and Howard made this an A-mazing experience! I called shortly before he was set to leave for the day, but he was nice enough to wait for me. Howard found that "sweet spot" so it was virtually painless... one of the least painful of all my piercings actually. And because I work in finance and needed to be able to hide the piercing in 3 days, he advised me of my options and offered to "flip" it for me the day before I go to work. Not only was he beyond knowledgeable, he was SUPER pleasant... and gives great hugs!! I went to get an inner bicep tattoo (my first tattoo) and I have to say my experience was great. Mason (the artist) was very friendly and kept his tattooing area very clean. Pricing was okay at first but he even took the price down after he finished the tattoo because it didn't take as long as he thought it would. So that was very kind of him. Overall this is a great tattoo shop, it's kept very clean and I would definitely recommend going there for your tattoos. Ask for Mason as your artist. He's young and talented and a very humble guy. I have had many mods done yet I haven't found anyone more knowledgeable than Harrison Nixon. he knows what he is talking about and what he is doing.I have received 3 subdermal implants from him over the years several scars and surgical below the belt mods he pointed my wife's ears and did much work on her all healed beautifully his piercing work is great and his scalpal and implant work is better all and all I say if you want piercings or other mods Harrison is the man to see . Very, very disappointed with the piercings I received. I went in to get snake bites and the piercers name was Harrison . He asked me if I wanted the pretty jewelry and I was like sure why not. Well the $20 labret jewelry was way to small and did not account for the swelling, I did not know that at the time. After about 2 days the inside of my mouth was healing itself over the piercings and when I called him he told me to keep pushing them through till the skin broke. I did this for 4 days thinking OK he knows what he is talking about. I could not stand the pain and swelling anymore so I went back to the shop. He made a snarky remark saying I knew you'd be back. Anyway I told him I was in pain and asked him to use something else. He put HUGE captive ball rings in. I felt like i had big door knockers in my mouth. The next day I was in more pain than ever. I called another parlor and asked them what I should do, the lady said he should have never put the rings in. She told me to come in and she would put the proper jewelry in, so I drove an hour away but it was worth it. DON'T GO TO BIG TIME IF YOU WANT PIERCINGS DONE CORRECTLY!! Read Less
