Okay, so no one has reviewed this place yet and I really feel that it is necessary. I have been a customer to body art ink for the past 8 years now, and have stayed with them through 2 location switches....That being said, I really shouldn't have. Β Body art ink is a shop that offers both tattoos and piercings. Back in the day, when they were at they Bryman's plaza location, I felt like they did okay....they had a "good" selection of jewelry, and low prices..but Β then again, I didn't know very much about piercings or the correct process. Β The truth is that they have low quality jewelry and absolutely horrible customer service. Β The last time I went in there, I wanted to get a second hole in my nostril, right beside the one I already had ( which he (Rick, owner) had actually pierced 6 years prior.). When I told Rick what I wanted, he asked me if I wanted a stud or ring...I didn't know what would be better or what would make it easiest to heal, so I just asked if he had a steel or titanium nostril screw....He told me that he only had a pink and a blue acrylic nose stud. At that point, I asked him what he thought would be better. He said " I don't know honey, it's up to you." in a completely rude and condescending tone. He acted like it was a huge burden to pierce me. Β I told him to just give me a ring then....After I said that, he said "Okay, but it is going to stick out a lot, and you cant change it for 2 weeks." I didn't really know what to say, as I had already paid. I sat down and he got ready to pierce me....he didn't ask me where I wanted it so I stopped him because he was about to pierce it at the very tip of my nose, in front of the nose piercing I already had. He asked me where I wanted it, and Β I showed him the spot . He just told me okay, got upset at me and made me mark it with an already used marker. Β He then stated that " You'll be lucky if these don't grow together." and proceeded to pierce me...I left with a giant CBR in my nose, at least a half inch in diameter..it hurt like hell and moved around way too much to heal properly. I ended up taking it out, surprise surprise. A good piercer would have looked at my piercing and anatomy, and determined the right jewelry and placement for me....and would have been more sterile and marked it themselves....it is NOT the customers job to do that....I know that now. Β I'll admit that I should have left the shop when I saw they had no selection of body jewelry, and the jewelry they were piercing with was of the lowest quality. Another hint to leave was also the rude attitude I experienced, even though I've been spending my money here for years....I stayed because I have been coming here since I was 14... I can say that I will never come here again and I definitely recommend that you go to somewhere like virtue and vice in Atlanta, or another APP certified piercer. Just because a piercing is cheap, doesn't mean it will be good. Go to someone who knows what they are doing, save yourself some trouble, and have a pleasant experience. Read Less
