When I first walked in, I was impressed how imaculently clean it was. Neil did my tattoo, however he did a proof of it for me to see before he dove in to do my tattoo. I approved the proof. I don't know how they are because they make it really hard to make an appt. I tried calling and setting up an appointment but they wouldn't do one over the phone. So, I stop In and no one ever comes to the desk to help me and make my appt. I'm visiting from out of town so I just needed to set up a time but they make it too difficult. Read Less

Sitting in the lobby NOT getting any ink because I was just illegally denied access with my Service Dog Angus....based on the desire to maintain a sterile field. Dear Lucky Draw artist whom I will kindly allow to remain nameless, You do not work in a truly sterile environment... gloves, a drape for your canvas, and disinfectant don't equal surgery or an operating room. I didn't see you change into sterile clothes or clean any of the personal things in your room. I'm prett...y sure Angus is cleaner than the floor he'd have been laying on there. Oh...and it was entirely unnecessary for you to be an asshole when you demanded I get Angus out of your room and then when you demanded he not even lay in the hallway outside of your room. Terrible service. My artist asked me to be quieter while i was talking to my friend. Which i understand. But he unnecessarily was rude about it and i was only trying to be heard over loud music playing. My friend even agreed with me and we gently tried to say that the music was kind of loud. Our artist proceeded to claim that the music was not loud at all, didn't turn it down and ignored our statement. I also asked about a picture in another artist's room... I was merely curi...ous because I thought i knew the person depicted in the picture. Our artist was rude about the question and acted like i was stupid to ask him about it because it wasn't his room. Again i understand, this was only meant to pass the awkward time stuck with our rude artist. The attitude was completely unnecessary. He kicked my mother out of the room for having a service dog, which is illegal. He stated that the dog hair was a threat to his sterile environment. As a surgical technologist I am familiar with surgical environments. A tattoo parlor does not have sterile field. Their tools are sterile and sterilized after each use. But their tattoo field is NOT sterile (pads taken out of boxes to cover the table area used) and their gloves are also NOT sterile. Angus was no more a threat to his 'clean' field than the beard on my tattoo artist face. If he had asked us nicely to put Angus in another place we would have been very accommodating and we WERE very accommodating despite the rudeness. Instead we were made to feel unwelcome and uncared-for. I will never return to Lucky Draw and neither will my mother or any of my friends, all of us heavily tattooed. This is not the first time I have had terrible service from Lucky Draw but this is the first time that I have been the one being tattooed. I'm very disappointed in my experience. My sister and i got or first tattoos here by Johnny and he was crazy amazing. He made the whole evidence absolutely wonderful. He used our basic idea and made gorgeous pieces for us. This was my first time at LDT, I went to the Dallas location to see Chris Vennekamp and he did an OUTSTANDING job! i could not be more happy with my tattoo, i got the divine intervention logo from slayer which is a very detailed piece, it's exactly like the seal! it is without a doubt the best black and grey tattoo i've ever seen in person, i still can't believe i have such an amazing work of art on me, my friends burst out laughing just because how ridiculous it was, my fiance friends and i will most definitely go back back to him to get other pieces done. i would recommend LDT to anyone... it's worth every penny! ask for Chris Vennekamp he's your guy. Cleanliness: 10/10 this place was spotless, I'm a very neat person and i was very impressed. Costumer Service: 10/10 Every employee that came by asked if we were taken care of, very attentive staff.
