I've been an ink wizard baby since the time I turned 18. I've had many experiences that will last a lifetime. I've made good friends with a handful of the artist such as Gary, Jake, and Rick hall , johnny and George at various locations. One experience that I feel as though the world should know is before I turned 18 I jumped the gun and let some idiot tattoo my leg. It looked like a crawfish a scorpion and a centapied teamed up and had a baby. It's was terrible. It wasn't until I met Gary Hall (9 yrs later) that it'd be dealt with. Gary turned my hideous morphed very deep and very dark tattoo in a magnificent masterpiece. He sat down with me. Took the time to figure out who I was as a person and what I liked. We looked at all my other ink mistakes and came up with a plan to make it flow. He was very quick to get on it and he did beautifully. Out of ALL the tattoos I have my crawfish was the ugliest. Now it's absolutely beautiful and definitely my favorite. I highly recommend anyone and everyone to visit the inkwizard family (especially Gary). They are all very talented and down to earth. This is the worse shop I've ever had work done on me at. The artists wanted to add thinhs I didn't want, and it took him over 6 hours to do a small piece. He was roo busy doing other things like playing with the TV music and starting and stopping, and even the shop looked horrible. It needs ro be cleaned and I woukd never ever go there again. DO NOT EVER GO TO INK WIZARD BECAUSE IT IS NASTY, DIRTY, AND YOUR APPOINTMENTS AT ONE TIME, BUT YET I WAITED 4 HOURS PAST MY SCHEDULED APPT TO GET RAN ON AND IT NEEDS A LOT OD WORK DONE TO IT!!! Ink wizard does the job, professional helpful and an amazing artist. The man will work with you to all your expectations, very patient and does pretty much all styles versatile. Dont beleive me just visit the wizard yourself. The man takes his job seriously and so should you. Come in with the right attitude and you will leave with an amazing peice! Tips for you customers: Take a shower, leave your entourage at home, the man needs pure concentration for what will be on your skin forever. Walk ins please be patient and try not to interrupt while he is working on another, have some courtesy. Don't fiddle on your phone while the work is being done, seriously this is your tattoo for life. Have your images ready when you arrive and be in time. One last thing from what I seen from a few walk ins, keep your attitude out the door and look up some garbage tattoos on craigslist. Garbage attitude deserves it. Don't misread my four star instead of five star rating. The only thing costing them the fifth star is ambiance. As for the work, friendliness and professionalism of the staff these guys are FANTASTIC.I've gotten two tats and both nipples pierced here and I would be going there still but Los Angeles is one Hell of a commute to get my birthday ink. I do not remember the dude's name that did both my tats and I wish I did. I cannot say enough about him. All I know is he is into hardcore, a vegan (with a Carrot and Crossbones tattoo among his many) and I really cool cat. He did my Skull with Hockey Helmet on my left chest and crossed sticks as well as the Celtic Cross on the right side.For my piercings I believe it was the owner that did them and he definitely described the experience to a "T" for me and made it as "painless" as possible.
