My gift to my husband for our anniversary was a tattoo of a rose. We chose John Barrett to do the artwork because of his realistic style. He knocked it out of the park. The tattoo was absolutely phenomenal and perfect quality. If you're going to get a tattoo here be sure to budget for an investment. After visiting other shops in town, I was immediately set at ease by the overall mature, calm, professional environment at Searchlight. Where other shops were crawling with screaming kids and reaking of cigarettes, Searchlight was quite literally a breath of fresh air. Went to see John Barrett to get some work done, did good work, kinda slow. Bragged about wanting to become a millionaire and it shouldn't take him long at $200 an hour. Kinda impersonal, like he was forcing him self to act friendly. Besides the huge price tag I'm pretty satisfied with the work, still healing tho. Read Less

I had been looking for a great tattoo artist that could do a traditional design...and after seeing my younger sister's tattoo from Dustin, I just had to get mine done at Searchlight.
