I had great experience getting my ears pierced.  Everyone made me feel comfortable. Matt was very patient and explained everything to me.  Everything was sterile and that made me feel good. So happy with the experience that I had at Killer Ink this afternoon. I went in today looking to get a particular piercing and Johnny, the piercer, got me set up. I looked at the bar intended for my piercing and knew that we weren't on the same page. Johnny told me that he'd never done the particular piercing that I was looking to get. After studying a few photos he didn't hesitate to accommodate me and got the proper ring sterilized to be able to proceed. I had a cover up done. My artist was Ryan, and I couldnt be happier with the work he did. He really focused on the details. I originally seeked out a place that was beyond clean. This place did not look like a regular tattoo place. It looked like a hospital/tattoo place it was so clean (which is a big thing when you are dealing with needles). I have gotten all 8 of my tattoos from this place and I love how consistently great all the artist are. I went to Saints and Sinners in Lawrenceville earlier yesterday only to be disappointed. I got my belly button done in 2014 from Killer Ink and was so happy with it. It's 2018, and after moving back home from college I couldn't remember the name of this shop, after digging I found it! We called and the receptionist Daisy, answered all our questions. Then, I went in with my bestfriend and our piercer Carly took us to a private room and set everything up. She explained the process, the pain, and the aftercare. It took 5-7 mins. She was amazing! Took my daughter to get a piercing for her birthday present. I would have walked out if it wasn't my daughters present. The person that actually did the piercing, think her name was Carly, was very professional and explained what she was going to do, aftercare instructions and answered our questions. Problem I had was the place was very loud, felt rushed by first person we spoke with about piercing and the tattoo artists were having loud conversations, swearing loudly enough for my family to hear from the front of the store. Gave this place a 3 only because the person that did the piercing was a professional and acted like one. Never been tattooed here and never will be.May be good artists?, but they need to run a more professional shop. Too many shops with true artists that run professional shops in the area to choose fromCustomers should feel comfortable to ask questions and not rushed, employees shouldn't act like they are at home or on the streets. Tone it down, reduce the amount of swearing, take an extra minute or two with your customers. They don't return calls AT ALL. They do good piercings however their customer service I wouldn't rate good at all. I came back to buy a belly button ring and I asked if it would turn my belly button green and the lady said no. This happened  a week into getting the new ring! What an amazing place! Since the moment you walk in, you feel welcome. I was very nervous about getting my tattoo because I have very low pain tolerance but my tattoo artist made sure that I was comfortable and that the placement and size was perfect and indeed it was. Great place with great people. I came in the other day to get some bad jewelry switched out. I got my conch pierced a little over a year at a different shop, and I got it pierced with a ring. That was a mistake. Anyways, I came into Killer ink to get the ring switched out with a stud, and the lady that helped me switch it out was so sweet. It hurt a lot, but she was really giving it her all to try and get that ring out of my ear. After a while she was finally able to get the stud in, and she only billed me for the price of the jewelry, which was like $5. She was super nice and really helped me out! OK, so I got my first tattoo today. Bob was my artist and he was gentle with me. Only hurt a little. But wait, it gets better. I'm 65 years old. It took me a while to get my first one. This place is MONEY HUNGRY!!!! They will do ANY piercing just for money even if they don't know how to do it AT ALL. Had my septum done there and it was AWFUL. Did not use proper jewelry, and even got my tongue there in which they did VERY crooked. DO NOT GO HERE. My husband was getting his first tattoo (after dreaming about it for 10 years) and our friend wanted to get her teen daughter's nose pierced. Having gotten ink from Killer Ink before, she recommended we go there. I am *so* glad we did. It is definitely *not* the typical tattoo shop (I have 5 of my own so I have been in a few ink dens); all the work is done in the open, not in individual hidey-holes. There is a lot of light and with the seats all in the same area, you get to see other people's work, either the artists themselves or the other patrons. We saw a woman getting a cover up that was *incredible*. My friend's daughter has issues with anxiety and had a full-on panic attack while the piercing was attempted. (I wish I knew people's names!) The girl piercing her was extremely patient, understanding, and explained why she needed her to calm down (stop shaking) and not pull away. The deed was done and she was, ultimately, really happy with the result.My husband made the traditional tattoo virgin faces but did well. Johnny assured hubby that he had watched 3 YouTube videos on tattooing (though he got bored half way through the third and shut it off) so he was competent. The humor helped relieve the situation.I have some tats that need to be refreshed. While talking to Ben, the artist who had done my friend's tattoo, about it, he said he could quickly take care of the little ladybug I have on my foot. Paperwork, payment, and I was in the chair! I went here to get my first tattoo in April 2017 and my experience was great! Not only is the art important, but the experience while getting it is also very relevant in my opinion. My artist was Ryan and he made my feel very comfortable and cared for, making sure I liked the design, had it placed EXACTLY where I wanted, and repeatedly asked if I was okay while I was getting it done since it was my first tattoo. Not only that, but when I went to get it touched up two months later (free of charge I may add), he was just as polite and reassuring and put just as much effort into making it look perfect while touching it up. This is such an amazing tattoo shop. I've gotten two tattoos in less than a week from this shop and I'm beyond impressed. Ryan and Nick are awesome tattoo artists. Took my husband and daughter to have their ears pierced here yesterday. My 8 yo daughter had her earlobes pierced, my husband his left daith. The place was extremely clean to the point it was like walking in a doctors office (only more fun) more so than the others I have been in. The staff was friendly and Carly was very gentle and encouraging with my daughter. They were even understanding when my son (6yo and s/n) had a complete meltdown in the shop. Very clean, well lit, most inviting parlor I've very been in. Ryan was extremely kind, & knowledge. He explained that the tat size & style  in my head may begin to blend  and fade in a sort time. Very happy with my over all experience. From my phone call to making my appointment to getting my tattoo and leaving was wonderful! The facility was very clean, open, and airy. The girls at the front where full of "hellos" and smiles. They artist all had great attitudes and laughed non stop. It was a very happy environment. Personally I saw Ben. He did a great job!
