Gotten a tattoo cover up done. Very simple. Came out looking amazing, that night. The next day my ankle and foot was swollen twice to three time my normal size. I gotten the tattoo on my ankle and a little above. It was just a rose. The rose when I left was a beautiful red and deep deep purple/ Black. Well needless to say giving the rating, complications began. I had to go get antibiotics. Now my tattoo is a light pink and neon looking purple. The lines aren’t solid, they are fading terribly. I am overal disappointed & will never visit this shop again. On the bright side my friend has gotten a tattoo done on her chest area, and it came out fine with no complications. I absolutely love coming here for my tattoos and piercings. Brian does an awesome job coaching me through every piercings his done for me so far. His full of information and always happy to answer any stupid questions i have (because I'm full of them). He also gives you a choice of titanium or surgical steel and remembers which clients need titanium only(me being an example because I'm allergic to even the smallest traces of nickel) Charlie is my usual tattoo artist and his really awesome as well. The first tattoo he did on me was large and took several hours and he was patient with me while I was trying my best to keep still and calm for him(he even wrapped up and taped a roll of paper towels for me to hold onto which was cool of him, I'm not ashamed to say I had that thing in a death grip while my thigh was almost completely still and wasn't really tensed. Like I said they're really cool guys and all the other artists are chill and full of jokes(though I'm a bit dense and didn't notice at first, sorry guys! I came to him to get 2 piercings fixed (1 was from a complete fail from a different local parlor and the other was a 7 year old tragus piercing that refused to heal). I know it has only been my 3rd day since I had the point zero piercing from Brain , But I have actually cried that I have been pain free for 3 days straight which has been one of the longest runs I have ever gone with out some sort of headache or migraine. Seriously life changing already ! Thank You so much I can not say it enough Thank You seriously I shall see you all again very soon ! Started getting a migraine today so went ahead with getting the daith (migraine) piercing and I have to say I am very happy with the result. I went to lucky 7 where Brian was able to help me out. He was very knowledgeable and even performed acupunture/acupressure before even doing the piercing to determine which nerve spot would help with my personal migraine problems. He then waited to see the affect telling me that if the acupressure didn't work then there would be no point... in getting the piercing; this made me really feel that Brian was looking out for my best interest and not just treating me like money walking through the door. After the acupuncture/acupressure was successful he then pierced me and gave me exactly what I asked for in jewelry that is very unnoticeable for work. In fact you can barely see the piercing at all. I won't lie and say my migraine is 100% gone because i do still have a slight headache, but it is definitely a vast improvement and I'm not in so much pain id miss my birthday. My husband is a police detective, and wanted a tattoo of 'We the People'. I, basically, just went along for the ride. When we arrived, the first thing I noticed was how CLEAN this shop was. I have many tattoos and I am VERY picky about cleanliness, which should be essential to the operation of this type of business. With this being said, I decided I wanted another one. The staff was very kind and expedient with creating what we wanted. I wanted to put the tattoo on the side of my hand. Our artist, instead of just putting it where I showed him, he advised me that the placement may not be best because the ink could fade very quickly. So, he chose to be honest and forthright with me, and I really respect that! He was quick, thourough, and, most importantly, just an all around pleasant person! We all know tattoo's are not cheap, but this is something we are getting permanently on our bodies that represents something significant and important to us so they are worth it.  The problem is WHO do you trust to put this piece of art on your body for all of this hard earned money we are spending for it....I can personally say Mike Helper is amazingly talented, gifted and a natural at his craft, or as his beautiful 10 year old daughter said "this is his career and he is great at it."  I took in three separate pictures of the flowers I wanted to use for a cover up.  He meticulously created a seamless single drawing that he tatted over this 26 year old tat I had.  If you didn't know it was there you would never know now.  Mike took his time, not once did I feel like he wanted to hurry up and get done so he could eat (it was getting later and even I was hungry).  I highly recommend him.  I did not personally deal with any of the other artists, but I can tell you this, everyone was professional and the shop was pristine and well organized. I'm not from the Augusta area but was lucky enough to have tagged along with some friends when they came to Lucky 7. After seeing a sketch one of the artists had on his wall, I made had a portrait done the next day! A lot of people can do ok tattoos but at Lucky 7, they specialize in CUSTOM ink! They are amazing artists! Dustin did my ink and I will make the 6 hour drive back to Augusta when I get my next tattoo!
