I went to new image the first time with a half done tat that I got elsewhere. The guy kept making appointments but wasn't there when I came. James looked at it and said I got you from then on I've been going to him he's tatooed my chest back and were finishing a sleeve on one arm ( I only have one arm) we started at the Gordon hwy. James is the only tattoo "artist" I know that will tattoo you high. Walking into he shop it reeks of marijuana. I (mistakenly) have let James tattoo me twice. James does what he wants to your body; not what you ask him to do. Or quite literally in my case what I showed him to do. When he was tattooing me half way through it his son of about 10 years old walked up to the chair and he commented to his son about how his son could draw this tattoo. So basically what I got out of it was a 10 year old could draw the same quality he was putting on me. James added a white line around my first tattoo without asking me.. Now it looks like a sticker on my leg and I hate it. The second tattoo he completely fu**ed up. It was not at all what I asked him to do. He later charged me to "edit" the tattoo to what he was supposed to do in the first place. Regrettably I let him edit it, I should have paid someone that knows what they are actually doing to cover it up. On the second tattoo he went out of the line so there is now random streaks of blue ink on my arm. To top it off he is unprofessional. Allowing anyone and everyone to walk behind the chair when you are getting a tattoo. His "staff" are rude and always side with him and really don't do their jobs. When I made the appointment I was told 12:30 but apparently the woman never wrote down my name. I later was told she "forgot" and I someone else was booked in my place. Overall James lives in the shop I believe quite literally. If you want a tattoo that looks like a sticker go to James at New Image Tattoo, if you want to regret it after getting it, go to James at New Image tattoo. Read Less
