I have gotten probably 5-7 different piercings (all in my ears) at this shop and all of the staff members are incredibly efficient and professional. The jewelry is somewhat pricey but that is because you are paying for quality, which should always be a priority when putting something in your body! This place is great and all about safety which is obviously very important when piercing your body. My friend and I walked in and explained what we wanted (I wanted my second lobe piercing on both ears and she wanted her second helix piercing). They first question the lady asked was when the last time we ate was. She explained that they do not pierce unless you have eaten in the last 4 hours for safety reasons. That was my first indication that we chose the right place. So we went to the Waffle House across the street and came back. We decided on our jewelry and did paper work. They talked us through everything so we understood what was going to happen and what all the charges were. Then, we went back to get our piercings done. It was a nice sterile room with two beds like you see at a doctor's office. The piercing artist was very nice and funny; she made us both feel comfortable and safe. After doing some research I found Virtue and Vice.They have a great selection of jewelry for all areas and body parts. I finally settled on a tiny yellow gold feather in my forward helix and yellow gold cluster in my conch.Lena did my piercings...we collaboration on where to place the jewelry, she made me feel comfortable, and was quick. A friend and I walked in on a Saturday afternoon for our second ear lobe piercing. It was pretty busy and the wait time was about an hour, so if you're in a rush, a weekday would be better. Earrings have to be bought from the store and vary in prices. The piercing itself was $50. The piercers for my friend and I made sure we were both extremely comfortable and walked us through the entire process. I recommend Virtue and Vice to anyone looking to get a piercing. I've come here on two occasions, and each time, I've been met with knowledgeable  professionals whose work is of extreme quality. I visited here recently to get my nose re pierced, and Lena was extremely helpful by going above and beyond to look for the specific sized jewelry in the back that they appeared to be out of in the display. She found the perfect jewelry for me, and delivered a very professional piercing experience. I've been getting pierced here for 15 years. Starting back when it was still a part of Timeless Tattoo. I have never once had a bad experience or walked away unhappy with my new piercing. Most revelry I've been getting pierced by Lena (At least the last 3 times). And let me tell you, she rocks!! She's always upbeat and helpful to help you to decide what would work best for you. When I got a faux rook piercing (sadly my anatomy doesn't allow for a normal one) she helped me pick out jewelry and told me that she had some great ideas of what else I could do to compliment my current piercings. Had a great experience with the staff at Virtue & Vice. I went in early afternoon on a Saturday and it was getting to be pretty busy. I was immediately greeted and got started on the process. This isn't my first time here and I remember always having a great experience in the past. They have a lot of jewelry to choose from and that's what I love the most, options. I originally got my nose pierced in Long Beach, CA at New Flower Studio (shout out to Vanessa Jo). I let them know that I wouldn't be able to do my follow up care with them since I'd be moving to Atlanta soon after.  Being the legit piercing studio that they are, they recommended another legit piercing studio in Atlanta - Virtue & Vice.  These shops are part of  the APP (Association of Professional Piercers) - basically a club of piercers who know what they're doing. I told Vanessa at V&V that I was referred - and even though I got my piercing done way on the other side of the country, she knew exactly who pierced me and was able to help me with my follow up care.  On another follow-up, I met with Erik, who helped guide me in the right direction when my piercing started healing kinda weird. He adjusted my jewelry sizing and now my nose is back on track to healing the way it should be. I'd been considering getting a nostril piercing for few months and finally got up enough courage to get it done.  I was sold on Virtue and Vice after reading their reviews here on Yelp.I drove over after work last Friday and was greeted as soon as I walked through the door.  Everyone was so nice and awesome.  Lena was my piercer and she helped me pick out jewelry and explained what I could expect throughout.  Another very nice lady whose name I didn't get helped me through the checkout process and also explained aftercare procedures.  I purchased a saline spray as recommended by her.The shop is very clean which put me at ease because I worry about germs and getting sick more than the average person should.  When it was time to do the piercing, Lena showed me the sterilization strip with my initials on it to prove that the items she was about to use were indeed clean.  She was very calm and asked me to close my eyes and inhale before she performed the piercing and then exhale when she told me to, which really helped.  I probably didn't want to see whatever it was she used or I would've chickened out.  It was over in a matter of seconds with minimal pain.  I'm almost a week post piercing and can't even feel it.  I LOVE it!!!I should also mention that their customer service, even afterwards, is amazing.  For some reason, the saline spray I purchased leaked out literally overnight and I returned to the shop on Sunday evening to purchase more.  Another very nice lady with glasses (didn't catch her name either-I need to do better) gave me not one, but two more bottles at no cost!!!  I was so taken aback by her generosity that I just wanted to hug her.  I told her I wanted to give her a hug for being so nice and she said ok.  I know she probably doesn't get that kind of behavior from customers very often, but in a world where customer service is slowly dying, I enjoy reciprocating the kindness that I receive.  Should I feel the need to put more holes in my body, I'm coming back here!!! I went two days ago and the larger lady there was extremely rude.I asked a question and she continued to clean and walk around the store while speaking to me. I had an amazing experience with Lena. I went on a Saturday, which I was told was a particularly busy day. When we entered we were greeted immediately even though they were busy. We waited for about 40 minutes and during that time we picked out jewelry and signed paper work. When the time finally came to be pierced. Lena was great she talked me through it and kept me calm. I wanted to get my 2nd lobe piercings done, and after researching all of the best piercing shops in the Atlanta area, I settled on Virtue & Vice. I knew from the reviews that I would be happy with any of the piercers on staff, but I was hoping to get Cosmo based on others saying he was especially gentle (because I was nervous!). My husband and I drove over an hour to get to Virtue & Vice, and we had 0 wait with no appointment. I picked out 2 rose gold earrings, and was allowed to bring my husband in the room with me (I'm a big weenie when it comes to pain). Cosmo noticed that I had previously had 2nd lobe piercings, which were (I thought) closed up and almost invisible because they were done DIY by a friend and never healed. He offered to see if he could open them, and said that if he could then he would refund me the cost of my piercing. Fortunately, both were able to be opened up and so he refunded the cost of the piercings themselves. I thought that was beyond excellent customer service! In addition (and most importantly, imo), Cosmo had the most gentle spirit about him. He has a very calming demeanor, and it really helped put me at ease. He was also fast!  Another thing that really impressed me was how clean the shop was. I expected that from the reviews, but it was still really nice to see how spotless everything was. Went in for a nostril nose piercing on 12/08/2018. When I first called to gather more info, Vanessa was super polite, informative and professional. Customer service goes SUCH a long way and she really set the tone for my experience. I'm so glad I found Virtue & Vice, thank you Yelp! I got my last piercing about a year ago and it took FOREVER to heal! This was not the fault of the piercer, the studs I chose were pronged and got caught on everything. It finally healed a couple months ago and I'd been wanting to get it changed out. I found Virtue & Vice and decided to pay them a visit because they had great reviews and carried some of my favorite jewelry brands.I went in to get one, maybe two new pieces of jewelry and left with three new pieces of jewelry and a new piercing, oops. The woman working the front desk (I did not catch her name) was wonderful! She was very well informed about the jewelry they carried and helped me choose and color match my new jewelry. The jewelry ended up being pretty cheap (in price not quality!) because I already had posts that would work so I really only needed one piece. So the two new studs came out to $15 a piece! The new piercing was also super affordable, if I remember right it was $25 for the piercing (jewelry not included), which is a steal! I'm from Austin and shops of the same quality charge double to triple that!Cozmo did my piercing and he was fantastic! He was very deliberate about showing me that he had sterilized everything, which I really appreciate. He changed out my two cartilage piercings so quickly and painlessly that I barely realized he had done it! The new piercing was also quick and virtually pain free, although it was a lobe piercing, not a cartilage.They send you home with a little bag full of goodies and care directions. I think it would be great if they explained the care directions in person, especially for first timers, but they're pretty clear and easy to figure out on your own. after looking for a reputable piercing shop online and reading one great review after another, i went to Virtue & Vice for two piercings. as soon as walked in we were greeted in the sweetest way. The young woman helped me choose the proper jewelry for the two piercings and was super helpful about placement and size. after i chose, i was taken back for an anatomy consult. i was told that one of the piercings i wanted, although it could've been done, might not look that great. i appreciate their professionalism where they could've just done it and i may have been disappointed. i was however able to get the second piercing. The piercing, done by Lena, was super comfortable (i had a VCH done). Lena is so kind, soothing & professional. no contest, if you want a piercing, go to Virtue & Vice. can't say enough about them, and they are most deserving of every great review. thanks ladies. I gave this place 3 stars because they genuinely seem clean and have a nice jewelry selection...I went to this shop as a minor to get my navel pierce brought all my papers and my parents accompanied me. After explaining the process and give me an aftercare kit AND letting me pick out my jewelry I was asked to have a seat until the piercer could do an anatomy check. I waited 45 minutes and finally went back she told me to stand up and felt my belly button and when I layed down she told me "theres not enough skin when you lay down its going to reject". What?? When everyone lays down their bellybutton is going to stretch and I have a pretty average navel...So after letting me wait 45 minutes pick out my jewelry  and giving me post piercing instructions i get that? I was very upset and went on the internet to look it up and it said only people with outties or extremely skinny people shouldnt have the right "anatomy". I left and the next day went to another great shop that many of my friends got pierced at and they said theyd never heard of that except for outties and i got it pierced there and have never had problems since. Maybe she didnt want to do it that day or something but I think they should do anatomy checks first before letting you get your hopes up about a piercing. I appreciate her saying "I dont want to take your money" but there's something about someone telling you you dont have the right type of body for a piercing thats dejecting. Maybe I'll try to come back for an ear piercing but I dont want to go through that again. Not to mention they've caused more anxiety about a piercing than Ive ever had before. Read Less

Drove to Virtue and Vice last night for replacement jewelry, I've been pierced here before (once when I was 18 by one of Virtue & Vices piercers who longer works there and again twice years ago by Elayne Angel during her tours) and the service was always great. Clean shop, clean sterilized autoclaved internally threaded jewelry that lasts for years, yes the jewelry price is high but it's not cheap crap jewelry that's going to irritate your skin. The piercer who was there and the new front desk girl were nice & patient. They will put your jewelry in for you if you purchase it from them. I love my new jewelry and I will only buy from them because I know the jewelry is clean and they've put mines in the autoclave every time. I went in for a hypertrophic-type piercing with a fluid bubble around it some years ago and Bethra helped me with it, there was blood involved and she didn't even flinch... she's NOT like super duper bubbly in your face nice, but she definitely knows what she's doing. Buyers BEWARE! This business justifies its high prices by claiming to use high quality jewelry and impeccable sanitation procedure. Latter may be true, HOWEVER the former is a fraud! Two months ago I got my lobes pierced for the second time each and purchased opal studs for the ridiculous price of $75. When I asked why they were so expensive, the rude fat lady with the green hair snapped back that "obviously quality comes with a cost". Ok. I took the bait l, naively. The studs had weirdly long bars and looked like they were hanging out of my lobes. Additionally, 6 weeks later, one of my opal studs FELL OUT. Thankfully I had found the piece and was able to replace it. However today the OTHER STUD WAS GONE. The picture demonstrates the top stud missing. The bottom opal was one I purchased years ago on amazon for $6 and never  experienced a fall out. Never had I anticipated paying $75 for holes in my ears and a two month opal stud rental. Don't be fooled by their claims to "high quality jewelry". They use cheap, easy to lose jewelry so that you come back to buy more. Never going here again unless they admit to refund! Read Less

My first piercings (done at Claire's) were not great because one side was perfect while the other, on my right side, was lower and could easily be torn off! I knew I wanted a place that would show me how clean they were and that would be affordable. The minute I walked in I was very happy! The staff greeted me in a kind manner and walked me through the process of what they were going to do. I specifically asked the person helping me to make my right double piercing a little higher so the first one would look as low as it currently resides. In total, I got my double and cartilage done. They cleaned every bit of the jewelry and my ears. The best part, in my opinion, is that they cleaned everything in front of my eyes! It has been a year since I have had my three piercings done and I couldn't be happier. I followed the booklet they gave me (how to clean the wounds) and I never had a single infection and or major long lasting pain. Sooo it's been about 2 weeks since I went here, and I didn't want to follow up with a review until my piercing started to somewhat heal. Now I went here and got my smiley piercing (pictures will be down below) and Cozmo? I believe was his name did my piercing it was very quick a very quick slow pain, but he was very nice and gentle walked/talked me through this whole process very CLEAN. This is definitely a spot I wish an above 5 star rating was possible! Truly blown away by the standard of cleanliness, professionalism, services, and jewelry pieces of this piercing parlor. I'll start by saying, though I've gotten a number of piercings, I have a LOW pain tolerance and sensitive skin. I've gotten my ears pierced over five times prior to V&V-- a couple on my lobe and cartilage but this has, by far, been my best experience. I'll try to give detail, since I only feel comfortable if I know what I'm walking into for a piercing:  I walked in with a couple friends on a Thursday afternoon (most facial piercings are walk-in only), slightly nervous and excited to get my nose (nostril) pierced. There were two women up front and one of them, Leah, who asked me what I wanted to get and then walked me through it. They sensed my anxiety and reduced it by telling me the piercing would feel like one eyebrow hair being plucked-- this definitley helped.They had me choose my jewelry first, and then pay beforehand. Their jewelry ranges from $15-up, and the nose studs started at $20. I went with the smallest titanium stud with a small gem in it and it rang to $28. The piercing itself was $25, which I think it standard for most piercings. Leah then took me to the back, explained the process, showed me the sterilization verification, and had me lay down. I felt a small push, she told me to inhale, I felt two seconds of a sharp pain, exhaled, and it was all over. I seriously have a very low pain tolerance and a lot of anxiety when it comes to piercings, but this was over within 10 seconds- no throbbing pain or discomfort after. It's now been 5 days and the piercing is healing beautifully. A few things about V&V: There should be enough parking in the lot in front of the parlor, shared with a couple other businesses. Expect to pay $50+ for a facial piercing. They do piercings pretty much everywhere. Please don't be afraid to go in ask questions! They are so knowledgeable and kind. You can find each piercer on their website and call in if you have a preference for who you'd like. Leah was really incredible; I've heard Cozmo is great, too! It really is worth it to just go in and get it done- this was the best piercing I have ever gotten done, and I love it. Warnings: You can't expose yourself to a body of water up to 6 months after the piercing, so if you are planning a beach vacation, postpone the piercing! You have to have eaten within four hours or they won't pierce you. They charge for jewelry and the piercing separately, and I don't think they can put in outside jewelry. Read Less

I have had several experiences at tattoo parlors and piercing shops, and the adjectives I commonly use are, sketchy, dicey, likely to get Hep C, but I have to say this place was quite the opposite. 1st the information provided from the initial phone call was exquisite. Everything we needed to know, the gentleman was concise, informative, and polite. When we walked in, the place was cleaner than many doctor's offices. The walls were decorated certifications and awards.When they had me sign my autoclave paper (for the sterilization of everything) I was smitten. I got my nose pierced at a reasonable price by, but my level of comfort, and state of mind that my nose was safe from gangrene was priceless. SAFE.CLEAN.VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE. This place has raving reviews and when my sister and I and wanted to a spontaneous piercing we wanted to find a place that wouldn't leave anything to chance. We decided to get nasal piercings and first called Virtue and Vice to gain information about pricing and hours. The guy that answered the phone was so nice and told me everything that i needed to know. He talked about what forms of ID we needed, to being sure we ate within four hours of the piercing. Wow! Virtue & Vice is amazing. I would recommend them over and over again. I had probably one of the best customer service experiences I have ever had anywhere (out of any business) here. Not only was the staff super helpful and thorough in explaining the process and aftercare of my lobe piercings, the facility was clean and I felt well taken care of. I had had my lobes pierced when I was 12 at Claire's and they got infected and I let them close up. I knew I wanted to get them done again but was scared because of the scar tissue. My piercer examined the tissue and was sure to follow the original hole, so I hardly felt anything at all! I was scared for nothing! Additionally, I was accidentally charged for tip on the total service (including jewelry purchase) not just on the $50 service. I called to let them know and Bethra the owner went above and beyond to come in especially to refund the difference. I finally decided to bite the bullet and get my septum pierced, and honestly, I chose this parlor because of their reviews...and I was not disappointed! The lobby space is large and welcoming, and the lady at the front counter was excellent at juggling multiple clients and questions. She was also extremely thorough. There is also a huge collection of jewelry types and styles, and the piercers were very helpful when it came to choosing what style works best. I'm always super concerned about safety, and I have several piercings and tattoos, and this was the only place I have been to that explains the sanitizing process up front. They also include an indicator strip that is then checked when going back into the piercing section of the place. Lena was my piercer and she was fantastic! Seriously, she was the best piercer I have ever had. She was funny, sweet, and was very upfront and I'm formative. For instance, she told me outright that I have a slight deviation so there is a chance I might need to get repierced. I'm already have plans for my next piercings at this parlor. I've had both a "normal"ear cartilage piercing and my rook pierced at Virtue & Vice and was impressed with the experience both times. Cozmo was easy to work with, set any fears I had aside and did a great job on both piercings. Virtue & Vice has an abundance of jewelry choices and I imagine you'll be able to find anything that you could want at a variety of price points. The piercing itself is a little on the expensive side (compared to other places I researched), but for the product and the cleanliness, it is certainly an increase in price that I was willing to pay. This is the only place I will come for piercings. I got my lip pierced here about 5 years ago. The woman was very knowledgeable, and I was highly pleased with the placement of my lip piercing.Last week my friend decided to get a lip piercing as well, and I immediately suggested this shop. I had a great experience with Cozmo getting my upper lobes pierced in October. Healing went great until just this week when I attempted to remove and switch out my jewelry myself. Things did not go smoothly and I woke up the next day with an unhappy, throbbing piercing. I went back to Virtue&Vice, explained my situation, and was promptly taken to the back to be seen by Lena. She took out my piercing to take a look and cleaned the site as well. Lena was super careful the whole time to make sure nothing was hurting and I was OK. She also gave me a pack of sea salt and detailed aftercare instructions. I'd rather not repeat the experience for obvious reasons but Lena and Virtue&Vice made everything better! On a brief trip to Atlanta to visit my sister, we decided we would like to both go get piercings. After looking at reviews of establishments online, we settled on "Virtue & Vice" as our final choice. Their Yelp page and the company's website both state that the facility is open until 10 p.m. However, after driving thirty plus minutes from Alpharetta we arrived at the shop at 8:32 p.m. The young lady working the front counter stated that they were no longer taking clients because the last client is taken at 8:30 p.m., because this allots the employees time to clean up the shop prior to closing. My sister tried to explain that I was from out of town (Maryland), and that we had driven a bit of a distance to arrive at the shop long before their closing time. An amazing customer service representative would of at least asked us what we wanted pierced (because both piercings were not time consuming), or provided some type of remorse for the inconvenience. I would recommend that Virtue note on both their Yelp and their website that walk-ins aren't taken past 8:30 p.m. So that they don't inconvenience any other future clients. Personally I won't be back, and I won't be recommending any friends or family to this establishment. As someone with over 15 years in customer service, hours of operation for a business do not include your clean-up or maintenance time. A good business would also try to close the loop by offering a guaranteed appointment time or something else to offer a clear solution and that their patronage is valued. Read Less

This place required me to take my 13 year old the DMV to get a state ID before I could bring her in to get her ears pierced. The idea is well-intentioned (i.e., desire to make sure that she is who she says she is) but the implementation is off. There are PLENTY of other ways to accomplish this goal but the girl I spoke to was incapable or unwilling to work with me to reach the goal in an alternative fashion. I got my piercings done here earlier this week. Cozmo was awesome, and really took his time. I didn't feel rushed at all, and they didn't try to push any of their products on me for purchase. With the cost of the jewelry, it was slightly more than I expected to pay. However, it was all titanium, not surgical steel, and I honesty believe that you get what you pay for. Looking back on it, it was well worth the cost, especially when you consider the fact that you will have these piercings for life, if you take care of them. I highly recommend this shop. Stopped by for help with my angry daith today! I have been having some problems because I had been given poor quality jewelry at another piercer elsewhere in metro Atlanta. Bato recommended I switch to a bigger diameter ring in niobium. He was really great and helpful and friendly. My piercing was super angry and irritated from the bad jewelry so it was incredibly painful to make the necessary switch but Bato talked me through it and was as gentle as possible. I was really embarrassed because I'm an adult crying from pain but he was very understanding and sympathetic. He made sure to ask how I was taking care of it and told me it would be a bit longer before I'm healed enough to get something fancy and pretty like I had mentioned I wanted to do. Walked in for an orbital piercing and the two ladies working at the front were extremely professional. Explained (with understanding) that what I was actually looking for was a conch piercing. My piercer (whose name for the life of me I can't remember, but she had star tattoos above her eyebrow) was super nice and made sure everything was sterile and my piercing was in the location I wanted it. After a lot of research I chose virtue and vice for my first piercing (other than my ears when I was 13). I wanted to get a gold hoop nostril piercing and heard they had a wide range of jewelry to choose from. I was nervous bc I don't do needles, but the staff was friendly and made me feel comfortable. They had a great selection of jewelry (exactly what I wanted) and answered any questions I had prior to getting pierce. I had an amazing time here this past Saturday! (I know, who would say getting a piercing was an amazing time, right? That's how friendly, thorough and awesome this place is!)My friend and I came in for piercings this past Saturday afternoon. She wanted to get her nose pierced and hadn't gotten anything pierced besides her ears as a baby. I on the other hand, am no stranger to piercings (I've gone through about 10, 2 of which have went to piercing heaven) and I went with her for support and to also get my rook done. Now I'm not gonna lie, this piercing place is located in the most random location, but once you walk inside, you'll immediately be at ease. The entire staff makes you feel really comfortable, not only because they're nice, but because they're KNOWLEDGEABLE. Again, I'm no stranger to the needle, so I've heard it all before, but one thing I appreciated was the sterilization strip that they provided to SHOW me that everything they were using was sterilized. How awesome is that??I wish I knew the gentleman's name that pierced me, but it was quick and painless. The worst part was him putting the earring in, but even that wasn't bad! My friend was also extremely pleased with her nose piercing experience, and it looked fantastic on her. Overall. I'd definitely recommend them. It was super clean and the staff was great. The woman behind the counter (I'm sorry I can't remember her name!) had a badass feminist shirt on, and I knew I was in the place. She helped me pick out jewelry, was very patient with all of my questions, and explained everything very well. Lena did my actual piercing. I told her off the bat that I was nervous, and she talked me through the whole process and went through great lengths to make sure everything went smoothly. I came here to get my naval re-pierced a couple of weeks ago. Cozmo did my piercing and I was in and out in less than 20 minutes. It felt like a pinch which was pretty much how my first time piercing it went, but what I noticed was that he actually sanitized the ring which I realized didn't happen at the first shop I went to. They close at 10. I called them and told them I was on my way. I walked in at 9:03 pm. There were two (male) piercers and two (women) randomly standing around. No one could pierce me bc they " already cleaned the room". So what your sign should say is that you close at 9. Walking in an hour before closing and being turned away is a bad look for any business. I've had my nose ring for almost a year and didn't realize that I didn't give a review of my experience. I was recommended by a fellow yelped when I inquired about getting a nose ring. The place was clean, we'll managed and had no issues with answering my 20 questions. No matter where you go, make sure they are licensed. The only issues I had was that they did not allow my sister in law to come to the back with me. I was told they normally let people go back but not on this particular day, I believe it was a Saturday. I also wanted a helix piercing, they do them but did not have a variety or earrings. I was looking for something moon shaped, there was nothing close. I appreciated that they went in detail about cleaning the piercing and gave me some type of salt and a full sheet of instructions to be careful with while having a nose piercing. Read Less

My husband and I have been here 4 times and it has always been a wonderful experience. From simple lobe to more complex, intimate piercings the staff at V&V are professional, friendly, and knowledgeable. Everything is kept meticulously clean. I came in for a triple forward helix, but they told me that piercing would not work with my ear anatomy. They helped me find a piercing that worked for my ear and I love it! I would have never even thought of getting that piercing if it wasn't for them. They are very knowledgeable and obviously care about what they do. My piercer was Lena and she was super nice and made sure I was comfortable. Everything was sterile and they did a good job of explaining after care. I wanted a double helix piercing and went in today expecting to have to schedule an appointment but was seen right away. The staff was great with describing the best joke weary, the after care & procedure. It was $25 for each helix ($50 total) + $25 for each stud. The ship was very clean & sterile. They even give you a strip that turns black when the sterilization is done to show you everything is sterile. I had Morgan do my piercing (ironic since my name is Morgan lol) & he was great. He explained how easy of a piercing it would be & it would be quick. He drew on my ear where the holes would be & then it was a quick breath in, breath out & it was done. I've been thinking about getting a daith piercing for a few months now.  Been trying to working up the nerve since I don't like needles and my only previous piercings were in my lobes so many years ago at the mall.  I finally got up the nerve this week and a friend/coworker offered to go with me if I went at lunch.  So, we went!  Everyone was so nice.  I wasn't talked down to or made to feel odd because I was nervous.  Morgan was amazing with me.  He helped me pick out my jewelry, explained the sterilization process, etc.  After I did my paperwork and everything was sterilized, he called me back, showed me the placement, had me lie down, I was told to keep breathing, then a deep breath on the exhale it was done.  There was some discomfort while the ring was put in, but no pain!  I was told to come back in 4-6 weeks to have it looked at to make sure things were healing well.  When/if I'm ready for another piercing, I'll definitely be going back to see Morgan! A few days ago I came here to get a VCH piercing. They had a great selection of jewelry (even if the prices were a bit high), they showed me exactly how things were to be sterilized (using an autoclave), and they made me incredibly comfortable. I had my piercing done by Bethra Szumski (she's worked with Elayne Angel... WOW!) and I will now not get pierced by anyone else! She was awesome.
