Stygian is great, I've been coming here since they opened up and now it's hard to imagine going anywhere else. I'll probably be coming until I'm dead since these guys gave me an excellent recommendation on a place to get laser tattoo removal. If only these people teamed up to run this place when I was 18....Amazing artists, friendly staff. Everyone is very professional and you get the feeling they all take great pride in their work.The space is beautiful. It really feels more like a fine art gallery than your typical tattoo shop. In my opinion, it speaks volumes to the quality of work being done here to see that so much thought went into the space and how these artists carry themselves.Location is ideal, of the other notable shops in the area this one is full of top tier artists AND it's inside the perimeter?!Honestly nothing bad to say. This is, by far, the most professional tattoo parlour I have ever been to. Tony runs a clean, exemplary studio. Everyone is friendly, efficient, and eager to work with their clients to achieve an artistic tattoo.  Charlie does a great job managing the booking and billing, and answers any questions you might have. My wife and I have both got tattoos from Oscar, and each time he surpassed our expectations for phenomenal artwork. My friend recommended this place, but it was a mistake of a lifetime trusting her and them. I knew I shouldn't have followed through 1. when I called and found out how strict they are 2. wouldn't let me see the design of my tattoo before I came in to get it 3. Required a non refundable $200 deposit for a tattoo the size of my palm 4. Artists charge hourly rather than just for your tattoo. I had to just trust that what I explained briefly in a 10 min convo over the phone would resonate with the artist. It didn't. I called in again prior to my appointment asking if I could see the design and they refused. I came in and we had to go back over her original design for about an hour making changes before she could even make the stencil. My tattoo artist was nice and all but that doesn't make up for the fact that I am not satisfied with my tattoo. I take full responsibility for not listening to my gut instinct. But I think in business, one should value customer satisfaction. I wouldn't recommend this place if you are a person like me who would like to collaborate with the artist and see the design prior to the tattoo appointment. Very disappointed in how they handled my discontentment. In the emails they basically said they don't see where the problem is then never responded when I asked to set up a touch up session. Tony Mancia is hands down, one of the best black and gray tattoo artist in the US. His work is outstanding, and he's very easy to work with. For such a talented artist, he has no attitude, and will answer all your questions and concerns, and make sure you get an amazing piece of art on your body. The studio also has other artist like Oscar Zornosa, who does amazing color work, geometric tattoos, as well as black and gray. Also Desiree Mancia has been tattooing along side of Tony, and has been doing amazing work of her own. I can say that I have been lucky enough to have two full arm sleeves done by Tony, and a half leg sleeve done by Desiree. I couldn't be happier with all my work.
