Disclaimer: Did not actually get tattoo because of customer service beforehand.TL:DR- stood up for a consult appointment/horrible customer service from owner.I found Loki as a tattoo artist after doing research on water color tattoo artists available in the Atlanta area. I really liked the vibrant colors he did so I made a tattoo appointment with him on April 17th. The only directions I was given for the appointment was to eat something beforehand. Since this was going to be a fairly large and intricate tattoo I had some questions about the size, design, and color; so I reached out to have a separate consultation beforehand. Loki seemed somewhat reluctant to meet with me beforehand, which I found a bit odd. After communicating via text message he said he would meet with me the week of March 25-29 on any day that he was working. Originally we discussed having me come in on Friday the 29th around 6PM, but afterwards I realized I had a conflict with that date/time so I asked if Wednesday the 27th would work for him, same time. Loki confirmed that date and that I could come in anytime for a consult between 12-7PM.On Wednesday the 27th I drove 45 minutes through heavy traffic (hello rush hour in Atlanta) to make it to the shop by 5:45PM, well within his 12-7PM time frame. Upon arriving I was told by the receptionist that he had already left for the day. The receptionist was very nice and offered to call him, which she did, and finally got a hold of him on the phone. She relayed to me that he could come back but it would take 20 minutes, pending traffic. At this point, I told her no thanks, and that I appreciated her help.I sent Loki an email the next day, Thursday the 28th, mentioning there might have been a miscommunication about our meeting time for the consultation (I was trying to be nice). I also asked, that at this point in time I would like to cancel my tattoo appointment for April 17th because for me personally, I want a tattoo artist who I trust is reliable. As of today, I have yet to hear back from Loki about even a confirmation that my appointment has been canceled. I am very disappointed in my experience with him and will not be giving him my business. So while I can't speak to his work as an artist, I can say that the customer service was terrible to the point of my continuing my search to find an artist.

My friend and I stopped here on our last night in the city. We called around 7 pm, asking if they could get us in by 7:30 or so because they were small tattoos, and they said sure (they closed at 9).When we got there, they were quick to work with us on our design (we had it ready). I was terrified because it was my first tattoo, but Mark made it so relaxing. Despite the loud music, I felt so at ease. Maybe it was Mark's accent, but I was reassured it wouldn't be bad and he was right, it didn't hurt as bad as I thought, minus the initial sting. Mark even stayed until after closing to take his time and make sure everything was covered (cleaning and taking care of the tattoo, etc). He didn't rush us at all. We even had a group of people with us and they didn't mind, so that was really nice of them.HIGHLY recommend this place. I'm from out of town, but when I come back to ATL next year, I'm getting another tattoo and it's definitely going to be at Silver Fox again!!! Thank you guys for being so great to us :)

MariVanda did an absolutely amazing job on my dianthus flower. It was my first tattoo that took over an hour to finish, and I was a little nervous about it. But it is so incredibly perfect. The shading is immaculate to the point where the flower seems three dimensional, and pops out of my arm with a life-like feel. It turned out so much better than I could've ever imagined. Her artistic vision is incredible, and her personality is great as well. And now, about a month later, I'm craving more bigger pieces! I will definitely come back to see her for my next flower. He always made sure to ask before doing anything (allergies, color opinions, etc) and checked in throughout the process. Will definitely go to him the next time I have something I want to get done. Silver Fox Tattoo, and specifically Loki, is amazing! I went on the recommendation of a friend, and so wasn't disappointed.
I was getting a tattoo that was on both thighs, and Loki really listened to what I wanted. However, he also gave suggestions that were extremely helpful, and the end result was definitely worth it!
The location is clean (and they also happen to be regulated), and safety protocols are followed. Loki is low-key and easy to talk to, and Silver Fox Tattoo has some of the coolest decor!
As far as location....it's in a small strip of stores (and Sublime Donuts is next to it!) with plenty of parking.
I have plans to go back. :)

The new owner Loki has been my tattoo artist for years. KC Wagner one of the other artists gave me my first tattoo and we currently are working on my backpiece - so almost 20 years and going! MJ gave me a super complex black and white tattoo that gets many complements.
Actually, it depends on what I'm wearing and which arm people see first. Top complements I receive are: Right Arm Watercolor Fox (Loki's work), Left Arm Fibonacci Sequence/ Golden Ratio (MJ's work), Back Piece Phoenix based on a Peregrin Falcon (KC's work).
So I not only recommend these three artists, but anyone they work with. I often send people with virgin skin (no tattoos) because I know they will have a good experience and be treated with respect and consideration. If you want advice, they will give it to you in an effort to make sure you love your tattoo today and many years from now. They want to help ensure you never regret your artistic decision.
Also, if you don't go here.... where ever you go - be sure they use safe and sanitary practices!

Nice clean shop with helpful staff . I walked right in with no appointment and they happily helped me . The artist KC was really cool, really professional and knowledgeable. I was really nervous but he talked me through it and it turned out great and didn't hurt much at all . It was exactly what I wanted , in exactly the style I wanted it in. Size was perfect , and so was clarity of the lettering. OVERALL I had a great experience and will be back .

I was a frequent customer of Sacred Heart in L5P, but followed Mari over to Silver Fox Tattoo and was not disappointed! Not only is the parlor itself spacious, but the decor is inviting, the staff is incredibly talented, and of course - it's clean. I waited till age 30 to get my first tattoo. After my first session with Loki, I felt like kicking myself for waiting so long. Not only is he a wizard with lines and colors, he's a true collaborator- he listens to what you want, talks to you about the thoughts and feelings that inspired your plans, and makes suggestions that serve the integrity of your tattoo. He's not only one of the tattoo artists I respect the most, he's one of the artists I respect the most, period. He is also an excellent community partner. Couldn't recommend him or his folks more highly.

My friend and I stopped here on our last night in the city. We called around 7 pm, asking if they could get us in by 7:30 or so because they were small tattoos, and they said sure (they closed at 9).When we got there, they were quick to work with us on our design (we had it ready). I was terrified because it was my first tattoo, but Mark made it so relaxing. Despite the loud music, I felt so at ease. Maybe it was Mark's accent, but I was reassured it wouldn't be bad and he was right, it didn't hurt as bad as I thought, minus the initial sting. Mark even stayed until after closing to take his time and make sure everything was covered (cleaning and taking care of the tattoo, etc). He didn't rush us at all. We even had a group of people with us and they didn't mind, so that was really nice of them.HIGHLY recommend this place. I'm from out of town, but when I come back to ATL next year, I'm getting another tattoo and it's definitely going to be at Silver Fox again!!! Thank you guys for being so great to us :)

The shading is immaculate to the point where the flower seems three dimensional, and pops out of my arm with a life-like feel. It turned out so much better than I could've ever imagined. Her artistic vision is incredible, and her personality is great as well. And now, about a month later, I'm craving more bigger pieces! I will definitely come back to see her for my next flower. Silver Fox Tattoo, and specifically Loki, is amazing! I went on the recommendation of a friend, and so wasn't disappointed.
I was getting a tattoo that was on both thighs, and Loki really listened to what I wanted. However, he also gave suggestions that were extremely helpful, and the end result was definitely worth it!
The location is clean (and they also happen to be regulated), and safety protocols are followed. Loki is low-key and easy to talk to, and Silver Fox Tattoo has some of the coolest decor!
As far as location....it's in a small strip of stores (and Sublime Donuts is next to it!) with plenty of parking.
I have plans to go back. :)

The new owner Loki has been my tattoo artist for years. KC Wagner one of the other artists gave me my first tattoo and we currently are working on my backpiece - so almost 20 years and going! MJ gave me a super complex black and white tattoo that gets many complements.
Actually, it depends on what I'm wearing and which arm people see first. Top complements I receive are: Right Arm Watercolor Fox (Loki's work), Left Arm Fibonacci Sequence/ Golden Ratio (MJ's work), Back Piece Phoenix based on a Peregrin Falcon (KC's work).
So I not only recommend these three artists, but anyone they work with. I often send people with virgin skin (no tattoos) because I know they will have a good experience and be treated with respect and consideration. If you want advice, they will give it to you in an effort to make sure you love your tattoo today and many years from now. They want to help ensure you never regret your artistic decision.
Also, if you don't go here.... where ever you go - be sure they use safe and sanitary practices!

Not only is he a wizard with lines and colors, he's a true collaborator- he listens to what you want, talks to you about the thoughts and feelings that inspired your plans, and makes suggestions that serve the integrity of your tattoo.
