He wanted to charge $1200 for a tattoo that should take no less than 2 hours. trying to say it would take 2 sittings when i spoke to other artists they disagreed. He's not an artist. He's just greedy....

I've been checking out Black Owl on instagram for a while and when Lovlicake posted that she was doing a special I jumped at the chance to get some work from her. Setting up my appointment was easy and hassle free. Her manager/assistant got back to me in a timely manner via email and text. Deposit was hassle free and easy to pay too. I was very impressed with the work Cake did for me. This was an important statement piece and she brought my idea to life on my skin. Will definitely recommend her.

I come here all the time, my artist/homie Seven does all my tattoos. He is definitely great at what he does and we def mesh well. Honestly that's the whole feel of the shop. Everyone is welcoming, inviting, and true at their crafts. But the best thing is that every artist has their own aesthetic and they all work with your budgets but still give you a fire (outstanding) tattoo. I recommend the shop to all my friends and anyone who asks about my tattoos. And this place is amazing and highly recommended if you are a person of color (any shade) who wants bright and vivid colors. A1!

Black Owl truly made my birthday the best ever! I have always wanted a tattoo but was afraid. I finally got up the nerve to get it this year but I was still super anxious when it came time to actually do it. Marco calmed my nerves and reassured me that everything would be ok and he honestly gave me the best tattoo I could have imagined! The environment was also clean and calming, and they gave detailed instructions of what to expect after the tattoo, which was helpful for me as a first timer. I have already recommended this place to others!

I went for their $100 tattoo event and it was my first time going to the shop. Everyone was super nice and outgoing, especially the owner, even though it was a very stressful event and you could tell they were taxed to the limit. There was a bit of a mix up with paperwork that made the wait time a lot longer than we were expecting, but the work that was done made it well worth it! I came in expecting to get a pretty basic design with not much detail, but my artist went above and beyond what I was expecting and put in a ton of little details that made my tattoo really pop. Great job guys, you made it a fantastic experience!

I come here all the time, my artist/homie Seven does all my tattoos. He is definitely great at what he does and we def mesh well. Honestly that's the whole feel of the shop. Everyone is welcoming, inviting, and true at their crafts. But the best thing is that every artist has their own aesthetic and they all work with your budgets but still give you a fire (outstanding) tattoo. I finally got up the nerve to get it this year but I was still super anxious when it came time to actually do it.
