I visited on 12/27/17 to get my nose pierced. I was nervous because I was expecting it to be very painful. Sapphire did my piercing. She made me very comfortable. She was professional and friendly. From the moment I walked in I felt dry comfortable, the guy at the front desk was very nice and made me feel very welcomed. My tattoo artist was awesome and funny as hell. I got my first tattoo today, 40 yrs old (dont judge me) lol! I was nervous but everyone there from the receptionist to the artist were warm, welcoming, and made me feel very comforable. Focus (Dre) was the best, he made this a great, memorable first time.... felt like I was chillin at my buddy house... needless to say I'll be back to hang again, oh and get a tat or two while I'm there! I was in town visiting my dope cousin. I had to go by Black Ink Atl because I love the show. The set up was amazing and the staff was great. Wady (@wadysink) was our tattoo artist. I am HIGHLY disappointed in this business. Coming to my job this morning I find Black Ink Atlanta stickers all lined up on our windows and doors. And even the roll was thrown in front on our door. First off, that is vandalism. 2nd pick up after yourself and 3rd why would you trash and without consent align your advertisements along our glass windows. It's disrespectful to businesses around here and that isn't how a business should go about promotion. Not only that, but when I called today who ever I spoke with said they hand stickers to customers and clients but who in their right mind has time to do that to all of our front windows/ doors and the businesses beside us? Gratefully we have a camera, but hopefully this will only be a first time. I love this show and I find such entertainment from it, their work is also great and I am happy that they are growing-but business to business as an employee it's not welcome to vandalize our work area. Yesterday, Mother's Day, was Black Ink Atlanta's first annual brunch. Their inspiration was helping to shine the spotlight on Domestic Violence. I had the pleasure of being one of the chosen honored and it was a great feeling. It was a little chaotic but beautiful. Just like each of our journeys were chaotic ....now our paths are beautiful. I'm blessed and so thankful for the sisters I met and connected with. We were amongst laughs, love, tears of old memories to new blessings, good food, mimosas, makeovers and tattoos! Ok. So I want to say that I am very disappointed in Black Ink Atlanta. First of all I came into the shop and was ignored by everyone, even though they had an event going on, there were people at the front desk that just ignored me anyway. Then when someone finally decided to help me they kept stopping the assistance that they were providing me to talk to other people about other things. No one said excuse me no one said I'll be right with you. Then after I waited again a gent...leman came out and asked me what I needed and I told him what type of tattoos I wanted. I told him that I had never had a tattoo in my life and I wanted 2 tattoos with my boys nickname and My Girls nickname on each of my shoulders. He told me that I would see the lady at the front desk. I waited and waited and waited at the front while she continued to ignore me. Now I could see if she was doing something but no matter what you should addressed your customers that you see them and that you will be right with them. They were having some type of event and then after I waited all that time the participants of the event started to file out of the room and I had to wait behind each of them as they cut in front of me and she gave them each a card telling them to call her for an appointment. Now isn't that what I had been standing and waiting patiently for all of that time!? Then lo and behold the owner Caesar walks in and walks into an office and I asked the lady if he would mind taking a picture with me that I could put on my military family board. she tells me that she does not think he will do it because he is all pictured out!. Now this is what I am not truly understanding you are having an event for Mother's Day to exemplify the problem of domestic violence but you won't take a picture with one of your fans that is in the military!? Well let me remind all of you celebrities of something ... if it was not for your fans you would not be as successful as you are now! If your were not for the military you would not have the freedom to be as successful as you are now! you can trust and believe that I will not be coming to the shop! if you could not support your fans at least you can support your Armed Forces and take a damn picture with people that fight for your freedom everyday. No one can tell me that they are too tired to take a picture when we are never too tired to defend this country! Shame on you Caesar! I love the show Black Ink, so we drove all the way to Atlanta from Alabama, Ohio, Florida, and North Carolina to visit the shop and Caesar WAS in the building well actually he walked up on us. Whike we were taking Selfies...Lol and he was very pleasant and down to earth. Wish we could have met Skye... Maybe next time.
