Anna Burns is a PMU Goddess! I started my journey with Anna in spring 2016 with a Groupon for semi-permanent lip color. I had wanted a light blush pink and she mentioned because of my skin type I would not be able to achieve it but will come close. She took a tremendous amount of time with the first application since it was the base, and the color was red to neutralize my undertones.  I was shocked, but she was spot-on when it healed to a beautiful mauve color. I had the touch-up a few months later and so thankful for her skilled hands and expertise for color. I LUV the color of my lips and looks very natural! Classically trained as an artist, she is truly gifted as a tattoo artist and a very caring person.I then signed up for three sessions of the facial micro-needling.  A little skeptical of the process, and the price (a third of what my spa wanted to charge).  I'm now a true believer of the process, didn't see much change in the first application but a tremendous improvement with the third.  The little acne scars I had have healed and the area is now smooth.  Will be getting more of this procedure after signing up for her SMP hair density procedure.   ~Mel Read Less

This past week I made 2 trips from Athens GA to meet Anna Burns in Atlanta. Already impressed with her website and having been referred by my surgeon’s office, our first meeting was for permanent makeup on my eyebrows and lips. I used eyebrow pencils for the last nine years. I had doubts about permanent eyebrow applications, but after the job Anna did, I should had it done sooner. She did such a good job to make my brows look natural that no one could tell I had them done. I am scheduled for a second treatment in about a month, and that should enhance the color. I have very pale skin, hair, and eyes. Without eyeliner, I look like a ghost. My eyes and eyelids are also extremely sensitive, so eye makeup creates problems for me. Over the last couple of years, I had painful redness in my eyes from infections in my eyelids, so I decided to throw away my eyeliner pencils and get permanent eyeliner. I found Anna Burns through Groupon. When I called her, she was very responsive, pleasantly professional, and completely honest. I decided to pay for a full series of treatments in advance. I am grateful that she took the time to explain to me the benefit of buying a complete series of sessions to create the result I wanted. With the care and accuracy of a neurosurgeon, Anna very carefully injects ink into the area of the eyelid where the lashes are rooted. This is how she creates the permanent eyeliner. You get to choose the shape, color and thickness that you want. With my history of sensitivity and problems in the eyes, it’s not hard to imagine how difficult it might be for me to trust someone to do this work. I am naturally skeptical, but Anna Burns has earned my trust. If I were to do anything differently, I would better prepare for the discomfort of having work done on my sensitive eyelids. At the last session, I listened to my meditation music through earbuds. If I were to do this again, I would also take a sedative before each session and have someone drive me. I was able to get past my sensitivity, because Anna was very calm and helped me in every way possible. I just arrived home after visiting Anna Burns this morning to have my lips permanently tinted as well as my eyebrows. OMG if I could I would give her 20 stars I could. My second visit to Anna Burns. First time was eyebrow permanent makeup May 2015. My second visit was for touch up over last year's eyebrow tat but using the micro-blading technique (May 2016).  I love the micro-blading results since it's more realistic and not painful (just some discomfort- level 3 out of 10).  Anna is truly an artist. After having thyroid problems for several years my eyebrows started to thin out and I decided to have them enhanced. Ms. Anna was extremely nice; 100% professional/knowledgeable, and informed me of all the details the procedure entailed.
