Very dissatisfied,  rude service,  overpriced, misleading price quotes,  we went last week and I got my first tattoo ever,  at the time I discussed adding a heart and banner later, the whole price quoted was $110 but I started with the name and paid $90, thinking that I could come back and get it finished.  Today we went and got the same tattoo on my husband,  the name on a banner inside the heart.  I had intended to finish mine,  adding the heart, but NOW he says he wants an additional $120 for the remaining ink on my arm, which is  more than the original quote PLUS I already paid $90 plus a $10 tip. I feel like I was misled and ripped off,  now I have to find someone else and pay all over again, wasted $$ on lies. I went and got my first tattoo here and it was the best possible experience. At first, I was nervous that the staff would be super intimidating, and maybe even condescending, but that wasn't the case at all. Everyone was super friendly and helpful. The atmosphere inside is also pretty cool too and just being in there made me want to get a million tattoos then and there. Jeff did my tattoo and was very patient and helped me decide on a better placement than what I originally wanted, which turned out to be the right call. He talked me through the whole process and answered every question I had. After a couple of weeks, I noticed that one of the lines were thinner than the rest and I went back and Jeff touched it up absolutely free of charge. Overall, my experience here was absolutely fantastic! The place is very hygienic, the staff is super nice, and most importantly, they take pride in their work. "Eek! Methinks not" is an understatement. If you are not already a hipster athens local with at least 4 body piercings and the grungy prince avenue aesthetic, they do not care about your business. Long version:I am a blonde ass white girl and I am WELL AWARE- but I still act chill for this crowd as I know they are predisposed to hate me / think I am a republican brat so I try to not act my stereotype. James, one of the co owners maybe (?) or lead tat artist / small dick energy-employee was insanely rude to me. 1. I asked for a relatively small-font tattoo- and he said the lowest size he could go would be a microsoft word size 38. (I know this is not true. I have a small font tattoo already, but I did not let him know this)2.  I asked for cursive, and he printed off a sample for me with honestly the most insulting "cursive" font from Word- ever. The look in his eye made it seem like he wanted to see if I would have the courage to tell him "that font is repulsive" because it truly was that distasteful. I asked to see more options and it was the biggest inconvenience of his life for him to do that for me. 3. I wanted 13 characters. small, minimal, thin- and he quoted me "at the least- $130" And I have never paid that much for that small of a tattoo in my life. Pricing did not seem to have a rhyme or reason. If anything, because he assumed I had never gotten one before and did not know the average price, he quoted me high. 4. I wanted this tattoo near rib-cage area. He said "he would not recommend it because I wouldn't have the pain tolerance." and "He only tattoo's certain people that can sit still for that long"I then showed him the sizable tattoo on my rib cage, to maybe prove that I was able to sit still. I then showed him the small font tattoo I have to also show "hey, I am not clueless!!" and he told me "Where'd you get those done?
