I have gotten two tattoos redone here and the reworked tattoos are AMAZING. Their work is extraordinary and the staff is friendly, helpful and most of all CLEAN. I've been to other tattoo studios in Athens (think downtown) and the staff at this other place makes you feel stupid for coming in at all. These guys (and girls) at Midnight Iguana do FANTASTIC work and you don't leave feeling like you've just been ripped off. I had a tattoo done at another shop and the lines were real shaky.  I went into Midnight and had Ron touch up the tattoo and pretty much redo the lines.  He did a great job.  I am planning out another tattoo and will definitely have Ron do it. Read Less

I have three tattoos of my own, but at 31, my husband decided it was finally time for his first. After asking around, MI came highly recommended. So, we ventured over there on a Saturday night. Now, I'm used to my guy back in Texas where you have to book an appointment 3 months in advance. I was surprised and pleased to find the wait not quite that long at MI. Of course, if you had no preference in artist, the odds were good you could get in that night or within that week. We got there early enough to get squeezed in for an upper arm/shoulder tatt that had four colors. Overall, we were really pleased with the experience and cleanliness of the place.
