Classic City Ink is one of the best tattoo shops that anyone could visit. This shop is known for the great tattoos and piercings, especially the ones done by the shop's owner Dustin Stewart. Even though the location of the shop isn't in the best spot in Athens, that doesn't stop the clients from coming in. This shop is one of the best shops that I have ever visited because of how clean it is, how great the customer service is, and the quality of the tattoos. When you first walk into Classic City Ink, you are greeted with the smell of cleaning products. Keeping a tattoo shop clean is the number one priority of many shops so they can keep the business going. I have seen other shops and the shop either looked like it needed a deep cleaning, or it smelled like it needed to be. But once you walk in this shop, you will know that they take this very seriously. Even when getting ready for the tattoo process, Dustin showed me the needles in the package just to let me know that they have never been used and that he was going to use two different sets of needles. Even throughout the process of getting the tattoo, he would make sure to keep cleaning my arm and along with his work station. If they didn't take just the small things like cleaning seriously like they do, this shop would not be open. While I was scheduling to get my first tattoo and while I was there to get it, the customer service was excellent. Everyone is so nice to you, and they will always work with you with what days are good for you, and the pricing of the tattoo or piercing as well. Even when you are sitting down and getting ready for the tattoo they will tell you how the process is going to go, and they make sure that you are doing okay during it. They want you to feel as comfortable as possible, so they go out of their way to make sure that you are. While I was getting mine done, Dustin would stop and make sure that I was alright before he went to the next step in the process. They will have conversations with you and play music to distract you from the noise. Then, if you start to feel a little sick, they will do whatever you need to help you feel better again. They care about their clients and want to make their experience better than what they expected. Next is the quality of their work. They are very professional when it comes to making something look the way it should. They don't want you to leave and be upset about the work that they did, so they try to meet your expectations as close as they can. Like mentioned before, they will always work with you if you don't like the design of the tattoo or the placement of the piercing, they can always change it. Even though the prices for certain designs can be up there, you are paying for a nice quality tattoo or piercing. My tattoo cost me $200 and some people wouldn't pay that much for one but if you want a nice-looking tattoo, you must pay the price of it. No one should pay for a cheap tattoo and expect it to come out looking like a highly priced one. Not only are you just paying for the quality, but you are also helping them pay for the cost of supplies that they need. Tattoo supplies are not cheap, so when you tip them that money goes towards the price of ink, needles, cleaning supplies, etc. To conclude, Classic City Ink is a great shop, and everyone should experience going there at least once or even more than once in their life. You can always trust them with whatever you need done. For the cleanliness of the shop, the great customer service, and the qualities of the tattoos and piercings, this shop is the best tattoo shop in Athens.  Also, here's a tip: everyone of all ages are welcome, they just ask that if there are little kids for the adults to keep an eye on them for the time that they are there. Had my first tattoo done 5/27/2018. Bryce an staff were very kind to me and helped me with my fear. I suffer ptsd and Bryce went above and beyond with his kindness and every little detail to make my small tattoo pass quickly! The staff was kind and put up with my panic talking and helped make a beautiful memorial semicolon. Thank you so much! My fear of needles had held me back, but the pain was nothing compared to my regular hospital labs! At times I only felt pressure then a mix of a small sunburn or cat scratch. Thank you so much!
