I have been a customer of Skinfinity for awhile now (3 years) and it’s mostly been great. I’ve gotten my nose pierced here, and have gotten two tattoos that I love from, Brett. My recent visit to Skinfinity was a bit aggravating and caused me to take my business/next tattoo elsewhere. Last Saturday (March 31st) I stopped by the shop to get a consultation from Brandon. We had been communicating on Facebook recently about a couple of tattoos that I’d like for him to do, he told me to stop in at anytime to see him and he’d give me some prices. I asked if I should call beforehand and he said no, just stop in and he would give me some prices. So I walk in and I am greeted by the newest woman that works the desk upfront (purple/blue hair?) I told here why I was there and that Brandon told me to stop by. Without going back and talking to Brandon, she told me that he was “busy at his workstation and cannot see you right now” but I could literally SEE him standing there through the cutout in the wall. I tried to explain that he told me to stop in but she persisted to tell me he could not talk to me for 5 minutes. SO, I took my business to Soldiers of Ink (who have a hilarious story of your staff making fake accounts to leave fake reviews for your sake) where Heath gave me a consultation WHILE HE WAS DOING A TATTOO, and had someone make an appointment for me. Unfortunately for you all, I will be taking the rest of my business/tattoo ideas to Soldiers of Ink. I'm really disappointed. I spoke with Heather 6 + weeks ago to have her design a tattoo for me and two of my friends that are coming in today. She was going to be on vacation when we actually wanted to have the tattoo done so she said she would go ahead and work it up and have one of the other artists actually do the tattoos. She told me it wouldn't take long... week or two maybe . I have called on four different occasions over the last 6 weeks checking on it and I've gotten ...the run-around. I got pushed off and today I'm leaving for vacation and decide I'm going to call one more time to see if maybe the design options are done. Well needless to say they're not done but they said that they would be done before she leaves on vacation. That doesn't help me when I'm already gone on my vacation. We really wanted to get the tattoo there as my son has had Heather do some amazing work so this is not a reflection of their work. It is simply just a reflection of procrastination or over-promising and under-delivering. Gary Anger is an amazing artist. He took time to do my husbands tattoo and mine. He's sweet and caring. He was able to start my half sleeve. All of the staff is extremely accommodating. My tattoo has been at least 5 years in the making. A. Im very picky about what I put on my body . Its permanent and will be forever. But once I knew what I wanted that was that B. Finding the right person to do it. Ive had a few tattoos done and I really didn't like the end result however they are small and even though I didnt like the line work or details I still love them. So for something as big as a half sleeve I needed to find someone AWESOME and thats what took so long.... I kept hearing the name Heather from Skinfinity and after a while I started seeing more and more of her work and really liked what I seen but was still not quite sure if she was the one bc the work that I seen although was great wasnt the type of stuff I would have done. And then one day I seen a womens top shoulder tattoo that was AMAZING. Everything was perfect, EVERYTHING. So I asked her who did her Amazing piece and once again she said the name Heather from Skinfinity. And that was that. I knew I wanted Heather to do my piece. It has been the best decision I made. I went in on Thursday and got some ear piercings. I got my third hole in both my lobes a rook and a forward helix. The staff was kind and the pricing was the best in the area. The jewelry in my rook is way too short and causing some pain. They said to come in if I have a problem so I will be going in tomorrow (Sunday) to see if they can switch out the jewelry for something that's not so tight. I'll update my review tomorrow and let you know how it goes.UPDATE:Times and days open are not as posted. They are in fact closed on Sunday's. I was unable to wait until Monday to have them switch out the jewelry on my forward helix so I purchased, sterilized, and changed the jewelry myself, I'm not saying this is a good idea or something you should do but the pain was unbearable for me and I didn't want to loose my piercing. (Well I made my husband do it) The pain relief was almost immediate. The jewelry the piercer put on was so short it must have been a mistake. Overall, A week later my piercings are doing well. I have to be honest and say even though they did a good job overall I don't think I'll be going back to skinfinity for my piercings. The main reason is that the "art" (and I use the term loosely) was very crude and distasteful. I get that it's a tattoo shop, but I have been in several and this is the first time that naked woman have been plastered all over the walls. For that reason I simply wouldn't refer anyone there, if they changed that and used actual art to decorate it'd be a first rate business. P. S. I would also double check what gauge they're using (no one ever told me, I had to guess) and the length of the jewelry to make sure it allows for swelling. You're stuck) As tattoos are permanent , you want to make sure you don't just get good service, but excellent service....superior service.At Skinfinity, the owner is a fun (and funky) Registered Nurse  (Heather Fields) who has an awesome sense of style, art, cleanliness , attention to detail and tons of talent.Bingo. That ticked off an awful lot of boxes for me to begin with. Their place is large, clean and welcoming. It's run like a real business, (not a corner shop with some dude who bought a tattoo gun) and the staff is professional. Appointments and pricing are up front and clear.I worked with Heather on several designs I had in mind and the end results are stunning. (It's people stopping me in public and asking where I had my tattoo done kind of stunning.)Every bit of ink I put on my body will be here forever and as such, it's paramount that it be done hygienically, safely and done well.I'm not a kid getting inked...I recognize good art & talent and these folks will blow you away. It may cost a little more than the corner headshop and the dude with the tattoo gun and blue ink, but this is one of those instances...you get what you pay for.I highly recommend you check out their Facebook page and website to see the artwork. me and a friend got tattoos here and they simply turned out horrible the ink was blotchy looking and the lines were like a drunk person did them, both of our tattoos turned out the same, i wouldnt reccomend anyone to go to this store the work is horrible, this is as truethful as i can be!! Read Less
