A couple days ago I got my septum pierced by Jake Davis. He did not swab my nose before hand and ended up piercing it TWICE because he screwed up the first time. After all that, upon looking at it for the first time I immediately knew that it was way too low. I had two different piercers look at it for me and they both told me that it was indeed too low and that I needed to take it out or I would have problems with it. When I went back to the shop to get my money back, Jake w...as very defensive and told me there was nothing wrong with it, and that talking to another piercer about it was basically my way of saying that he was "unprofessional." In the end, I only got $40 out of the $50 that I paid for back, $10 for the jewelry that is absolutely useless to me now. I'm sure Jake is a fine tattoo artist, but he doesn't know sh*t when it comes to piercings. Wouldn't advise to get pierced here. Pics in the comments. See More Read Less

I got a tattoo of my moms handwriting by Jake and he did awesome! A year later and it hasn’t faded at all. It looks like she took a pen and wrote on me. Clean, print done to perfection. Easy to find. Garage parking just off Olive right behind their shop. Friendly knowledgable crew that listened to what we wanted...and delivered. Very clean environment which is extremely important to me. Went for mother/daughter tatts and pleased beyond my expectations. I will be going back for more. I went in on a Monday, had my appointment for the following Saturday. CJ the owner did my tattoo in 1 session. It took 6 hours. It came out amazing. Great experience with Porsche having permanent make-up applied. First visit was my liner on upper and lower and my second visit was my eyebrows... what a difference! Ok Porsche has done my eyeliner and my eyebrows can't decide what's next Lip Liner or Lip Liner and lipstick? Eyelash Extensions... so many choices:-) Great job, looks great and a really fantastic experience working with Porsche. Parking was not as difficult as I thought it would be. The sop was clean and I was comfortable there. Porsche was very patient and took her time to make it right. She explained everything and gave me all my options and when I wanted it lighter or darker, higher or lower, thicker or thinner, even worked for the right shades as I really was not sure what I wanted or didn't want. I had been procrastinating a cover up tattoo for a tattoo I rushed into when I was 17 and Jake Davis at Got Ink Studios helped me with my consultation. I instantly felt comfortable with his knowledge and eager attitude to help me transform my lack luster Lilly into a colorful masterpiece. I spent about 4/5 hours at the studio and was incredibly impressed with the cleanliness and profesionality of all the artists I came in contact with. I feel like I just went 12 rounds with a heavyweight champ but I somehow sat through an amazing 8 hour session with CJ. I am extremely pleased with his work. The staff was super helpful and funny as hell. Very relaxed and professional atmosphere for my chest and full sleeve (geometric pattern work). I highly recommend the shop and CJ in particular. When I was on vaca last month and it was Friday the 13th, I really wanted a tattoo! I found that Got Ink was doing the $13 special for the day and decided to stop in! I sat with Jake for a Jason mask (photo posted here) and it really was fun experience. He took time with me and it wasn't just one of those plain black and white ones you get on that day. I came here many months ago, it was a completely random search, I read the good reviews, said a little prayer and went! The level of professionalism is absolutely out of this world amazing. I was getting two little tattoos and I always feel super intimidated when I walk into tattoo shops (like when I went to get my hips, belly button, tragus, triple helix piercings, all at different times and studios), the music is always really intense and I feel so out of place with all this super intense people, but my experience here was NOTHING like that. The atmosphere is that of an artists space, you can tell a lot of thought and planning went into the space alone. It makes sense that it should feel clean and well designed because those are definitely two things I want from my tattoo artist: cleanliness and a good eye for design. CJ made me feel SUPER comfortable, he didn't laugh at my mini tattoos or crazy questions, and his actual tattooing is amazing! It's precise, artistic, and EXACTLY what I asked for. I'm planning my next tattoo. That's really what inspired me to write this review, and I can't wait to see how it's going to come out!!! I have been coming to Got Ink Studios on and off for almost a year. I am so happy to have found an artist like CJ to do my tattoos. On Nov 10 my dog of 11 years passed away and I knew instantly that I would want CJ to do her memorial portrait on me. It came out so beautiful and has helped tremendously in my grieving process.
