This place is amazing. I contacted Matt Stone like a day before and he was able to book my appointment. I sent him a photo of what I wanted and we changed it a bit and it came out perfectly! I was there a little longer than expected but that was fine. Everything was done with precision and attention to detail. The rest of the shop was clean especially the bathroom . They had awesome tattoo ideas allll over the walls. The room I was in was decorated with the guys personal interests, which was awesome, so I'm guessing the other rooms were personalized as well. The other artists were a bit loud and kinda distracting but no big deal. The stencil took a few times to get right but I'd rather have to do it a few times then regret the placement later. It took around 3 hours to finish and I was a bit squirmy at the end but Matt did an amazing job getting it done. I'm really happy with how much detail he did with the eye, like the eyelashes and the places where he highlighted. Fun fact: This is the only tattoo shop I know that has the aftercare instructions online! I forgot the paper on the counter but was able to download it and it was much more convenient Overall an amazing shop and definitely recommend Matt Stone!

It was my first tattoo experience and I was a little nervous but everybody in the shop is super sweet and accommodating. The inside of the parlor itself looks great! It’s very clean, comfy (I could sleep on the couches), and decorated extremely well. There are plenty of amazing artists to choose high quality designs from, however, I went to Sara for two sailor moon wrist tattoos that look so incredibly cute... they came out exactly as I wanted them and I’m already plotting to come back for more of her work in the future!!

I made an appointment ahead of time with Matt Oates. First tattoo. I actually followed his instagram for a while before i made my move. The experience was the best, from the guy behind the counter to cleanliness and the artist, Matt, is a genuinely cool dude. Mad Talent. My rose tattoo came out even better than how i imagined it would. It's two weeks in to healing and is looking 10/10. I'm pretty sure I have the coolest tat out there. I will def be back to see Matt for my next one.

I wanted a watercolor tattoo and I scoured South Florida for an artist I liked who did the watercolor. I found Shannon here at Aces High and we were able to set up a time to meet and discuss my interest. Shannon too my ideas and made them her own and it was a pleasant experience that I'm glad I did. The tattoo took about two hours and I'm very pleased with what Shannon came up with. The pricing was also great and it was much less than I anticipated it being. The other staff and the atmosphere was great as well. Well definitely get any future tattoos here!

I have 4 tattoos from Aces High and always had a great experience. The first time I was actually nervous was when my wife and daughter went to see Sarah Arnold yesterday for their first tattoos. A difficult spot to be perfect on the inside of their pinky finger, Sarah did two perfect tattoos that were identical for them both. Sarah was patient, but also made good suggestions based on her experience.
I will always highly recommend the artists of Aces High, but I just might have to get my own next tattoo from Sarah.

Great place! My artist was Matt Oates. He fixed a tattoo I had done at Palm Beach Ink years ago, and their parlor is by FAR superior. They are clean, friendly, and take their time to do nice work. He re-did my design almost three different times and then I changed body location after putting the sketch on and he was so patient and willing to work with anything I wanted to do. I will never go anywhere else ever again except Aces High :)

Trust this is the most amazing shop around! Mike is only there on Tuesdays but I'd rather wait for a Tuesday to get a tattoo from hiim-Mike totally understands what I want and just gets it! This was my first tattoo, I researched many shops and chose Aces High in West Palm. I wanted black and grey and after looking at his portfolio, I chose Matt Perlman. Matt was very easy to work with, he drew the design I wanted, asked me questions, answered mine and gave me a great compass that he will continue add onto when I'm ready. The shop was very clean, everyone I spoke with was accommodations and friendly. Not only am I going back, my wife will be going soon as well as on of my sons. Thank you so much Matt and Aces High!

My first tattoo from this shop and it was a great experience. I got a portrait of my dog who passed away by Bobby. I gave him pretty much no notice but he squeezed me in as his last appointment on the only day I could go get tattooed and said he didn't mind staying late. The man tattooed me for two and a half hours past close on a Sunday! Not only that but the portrait is perfect and exactly what I wanted. The lines are clean and the color is perfect. The shop was clean and comfortable and everyone else was really friendly and helpful. I will definitely be coming back for my next tattoos!

Never had the inspiration for a tattoo but once I did I went straight here and I'm so glad I did. Everybody has their opinion and their artists but let me tell you just walking around the shop every single person here kills it. Hit Alex up the day before we went in and asked him if he could draw a sea turtle up for my girlfriend and send me a sketch and he had something ready within hours. Went in the next day and he crushed an awesome piece in two hours. Gotta say I'll be coming here for the rest of my sleeve

I instead went the higher ground and only asked for the money back for the tattoo. Didnt even ask for the hundreds of dollars from medical bills. The owner John Wylie refused to even do that. When talking to the owner he admitted that they have had several other infections this year already. Yikes... unless you want to spend hundreds of dollars on doctors after... go some where else.

I went in a few weeks ago, I didn't have an appointment but they were able to fit me in even though I wanted 3 tattoos. They were very friendly and professional. The shop was very clean. Matt Stone was the artist that did my tattoos and they turned out perfect. He drew one of the tattoos I wanted and it came out the exact way I wanted it in my head. It was in a very sensitive area and it was hard for me to not twitch but he didn't get annoyed with it and again, it turned out perfectly. If I lived closer I would make this my go to shop. I had a wonderful experience and wish I could go back again.

I went to the West Palm Beach location after booking an appointment for a design Matt Perlman had posted as up for grabs. This was my first tattoo at a parlor with professionals and I could not have asked for a better experience. Matt is an awesome person and artist; he made me feel comfortable and explained his ideas and plan for the tattoo at the beginning and throughout. You can tell all the artists are friendly and get along really great, they would come in every so often to see how it was going. Matt was very thorough in explaining aftercare and made sure I had everything correct when I sent him an email. I seriously can't say enough about the incredible staff and amazing experience. I'll definitely be going back!

Matt Perlman is awesome! I've gotten three large pieces done by him at the Okeechobee blvd location. After over 7 sessions I can honestly say that this shop is my favorite. Matt always takes my ideas and runs with them and I end up with truly original and beautiful pieces. I appreciate his focus on his work and his customers. I can't say enough good things and I'm always recommending him to others. The shop is always clean and the other artists and front desk are always helpful and friendly. Thanks, Matt, you're the best!

The best tattoo shop!! So organized, so clean and so professional. I made an appointment with Matt Perlman after seeing his work on instagram (deadmess) and he's amazing. He was so courteous. He drew up my design and emailed me with it. He made any changes I requested without hesitation. He was easily reachable and very communicable between my consult and my actual appointment. Matt was very approachable and very comforting during the tattoo. The tattooTook 3 hours and it did not hurt a bit. His work is impeccable. He's amazing. I'll definitely be back for more ink from him!!!

Let me tell you my experience. My mom and I walked into Aces High wanting matching but different sunflower tattoos. I had gotten a tattoo from the same place 4 years sooner, but not from the him. Alex was immediately recommended and we met with him that day despite me being from Orlando. We set the appointment and when we met with him for the tattoos, he absolutely did a phenomenal job. We changed nothing from his original designs and he went to work. He was fair and he took his time to do an astounding job. My mom and I are very impressed with his talent. He's also a freaking funny dude, too. 10/10 would recommend.

He referred me to a guy at a much further location where my deposit could be credited. This guy was booked until the date that I'm leaving. Now I'm leaving the state and they refuse to just refund my deposit! I showed up to my appointment and kept up my end. Not a nice way to treat your customers. You would think that a business would care more about having a good reputation than keeping my $60 deposit but I guess not.

This shop sets the bar for what quality but affordable tattoo shops should be. I made an appointment with Mel a few months ago because I was coming to see them from Orlando. She did a fantastic job of helping me to conceptualize my piece even through email and she was very prompt in helping answer any questions I had. When I arrived, everyone was friendly, the shop is warm and inviting and Mel was just a consummate professional. She has these wonderful little soap/lotion aftercare packs and the shop gave me a free tank top when I left. For those coming from out of the area, this place is easy to get to and worth the trip: professional artists in a friendly, drama-free shop that I could comfortably take a conservative relative to. Mel is changing locations in the months ahead to their Boynton location, so keep that in mind if you're seeking her specifically!

Great shop. Came in to do my first decent sized tattoo. The guy at the front Chris I think that was his name, was helpful and got an artist to speak to me right away. Tyler was the artist I spoke to. Tyler got me in the next two days for a 5pm appointment. When I showed up,he was ready to rock and roll. The tattoo came out great. He's an amazing artist. He was great to talk to and got the tattoo done quickly. The pricing was good. Will be coming back to visit Tyler at Aces High soon for another piece!

I went in to discuss an idea that I've been thinking about for a year. The first artist said that he doesn't do that type of tattoo (a guardian angel) so told me to talk to his boss, Phil Carlucci. I got nervous about explaining the idea because I am not an artist and Phil said that I am his "smoke break". As I tried to explain, his question was "are you trying to break my balls?" Then he said that he doesn't do "religious" tattoos. If you are looking for someone to work with you and help create an artistic vision for your tattoo...this is definitely not your place. These guys aren't caring and made me feel like I was asking for a favor from someone much more important than me; the paying customer. I have to believe that there are artists that love what they do and it is expressed in their interactions with potential canvases. My search continues for someone to help with my idea and their vision.

I can say that because of her, I might reconsider using the talented artist I found online and going somewhere else. I told her what I wanted done and she said I did not need an appointment for it and can just walk in. OK, no big deal. When she asked more detail about the tattoo, speaking for apparently all the artists in the shop, she said the work I wanted won't be possible, and I should just reconsider what I get. Ummm really? She had a bit of attitude saying it as well, don't really know what her deal was. Either way, I went to another shop and I asked if what I want is impossible, so the artist showed me other work he had in the same area with much more detail and complication than I wanted, sketching me out something really nice on the spot. Aces High, you need to talk to your front desk lady, she might have driven more people away with that wonderful attitude of hers.

Great shop! Everyone is very professional and respectful, of clients and each other. The artists are very polite and receptive to client requests but still manage to give their input where needed to endure a finished product that looks amazing. It's very clean and inviting. Aces keeps its integrity as an art house trying to beautify and not just a tattoo shop looking to make money. I would highly reccomend Joe Buchman for his black and grey and attention to detail! Boswell also is great at clean and bright traditional. Best shop in palm beach by far!

This is the first place I went to get tattooed at in West Palm Beach. I researched and Ace's High Tattoo Shop is the best and most sterile. I got new tattoos, touch ups and cover ups. The tattoo Artist I always and will always go to is Melissa Perlman. She is great and very talented. I love her work. I have gotten a small purple ribbon bow, touched up a tattoo that faded, covered up a tattoo with a beautiful purple rose and another cover up with a beautiful peacock design. I highly recommend this place to anyone who wants to get tattooed. They are all very talented artist and this place is very clean.

This place is amazing. I contacted Matt Stone like a day before and he was able to book my appointment. I sent him a photo of what I wanted and we changed it a bit and it came out perfectly! I was there a little longer than expected but that was fine. Everything was done with precision and attention to detail. The rest of the shop was clean especially the bathroom . They had awesome tattoo ideas allll over the walls. The room I was in was decorated with the guys personal interests, which was awesome, so I'm guessing the other rooms were personalized as well. The other artists were a bit loud and kinda distracting but no big deal. The stencil took a few times to get right but I'd rather have to do it a few times then regret the placement later. It took around 3 hours to finish and I was a bit squirmy at the end but Matt did an amazing job getting it done. I'm really happy with how much detail he did with the eye, like the eyelashes and the places where he highlighted. Fun fact: This is the only tattoo shop I know that has the aftercare instructions online! I forgot the paper on the counter but was able to download it and it was much more convenient Overall an amazing shop and definitely recommend Matt Stone!

It was my first tattoo experience and I was a little nervous but everybody in the shop is super sweet and accommodating. The inside of the parlor itself looks great! It’s very clean, comfy (I could sleep on the couches), and decorated extremely well. There are plenty of amazing artists to choose high quality designs from, however, I went to Sara for two sailor moon wrist tattoos that look so incredibly cute... they came out exactly as I wanted them and I’m already plotting to come back for more of her work in the future!!

My rose tattoo came out even better than how i imagined it would. It's two weeks in to healing and is looking 10/10. I'm pretty sure I have the coolest tat out there. I found Shannon here at Aces High and we were able to set up a time to meet and discuss my interest. Shannon too my ideas and made them her own and it was a pleasant experience that I'm glad I did. The tattoo took about two hours and I'm very pleased with what Shannon came up with. The pricing was also great and it was much less than I anticipated it being. The other staff and the atmosphere was great as well. Well definitely get any future tattoos here!

I have 4 tattoos from Aces High and always had a great experience. The first time I was actually nervous was when my wife and daughter went to see Sarah Arnold yesterday for their first tattoos. A difficult spot to be perfect on the inside of their pinky finger, Sarah did two perfect tattoos that were identical for them both. Sarah was patient, but also made good suggestions based on her experience.
I will always highly recommend the artists of Aces High, but I just might have to get my own next tattoo from Sarah.

Great place! My artist was Matt Oates. He fixed a tattoo I had done at Palm Beach Ink years ago, and their parlor is by FAR superior. They are clean, friendly, and take their time to do nice work. He re-did my design almost three different times and then I changed body location after putting the sketch on and he was so patient and willing to work with anything I wanted to do. I will never go anywhere else ever again except Aces High :)

This was my first tattoo, I researched many shops and chose Aces High in West Palm. I wanted black and grey and after looking at his portfolio, I chose Matt Perlman. Matt was very easy to work with, he drew the design I wanted, asked me questions, answered mine and gave me a great compass that he will continue add onto when I'm ready. My first tattoo from this shop and it was a great experience. I got a portrait of my dog who passed away by Bobby. I gave him pretty much no notice but he squeezed me in as his last appointment on the only day I could go get tattooed and said he didn't mind staying late. The man tattooed me for two and a half hours past close on a Sunday! Not only that but the portrait is perfect and exactly what I wanted. The lines are clean and the color is perfect. The shop was clean and comfortable and everyone else was really friendly and helpful. I will definitely be coming back for my next tattoos!

Never had the inspiration for a tattoo but once I did I went straight here and I'm so glad I did. Everybody has their opinion and their artists but let me tell you just walking around the shop every single person here kills it. Hit Alex up the day before we went in and asked him if he could draw a sea turtle up for my girlfriend and send me a sketch and he had something ready within hours. Went in the next day and he crushed an awesome piece in two hours. Gotta say I'll be coming here for the rest of my sleeve

I instead went the higher ground and only asked for the money back for the tattoo. Didnt even ask for the hundreds of dollars from medical bills. The owner John Wylie refused to even do that. When talking to the owner he admitted that they have had several other infections this year already. Yikes... unless you want to spend hundreds of dollars on doctors after... go some where else.

I went in a few weeks ago, I didn't have an appointment but they were able to fit me in even though I wanted 3 tattoos. They were very friendly and professional. The shop was very clean. Matt Stone was the artist that did my tattoos and they turned out perfect. He drew one of the tattoos I wanted and it came out the exact way I wanted it in my head. It was in a very sensitive area and it was hard for me to not twitch but he didn't get annoyed with it and again, it turned out perfectly. If I lived closer I would make this my go to shop. I had a wonderful experience and wish I could go back again.

I went to the West Palm Beach location after booking an appointment for a design Matt Perlman had posted as up for grabs. This was my first tattoo at a parlor with professionals and I could not have asked for a better experience. Matt is an awesome person and artist; he made me feel comfortable and explained his ideas and plan for the tattoo at the beginning and throughout. You can tell all the artists are friendly and get along really great, they would come in every so often to see how it was going. Matt was very thorough in explaining aftercare and made sure I had everything correct when I sent him an email. I seriously can't say enough about the incredible staff and amazing experience. I'll definitely be going back!

Matt always takes my ideas and runs with them and I end up with truly original and beautiful pieces. I appreciate his focus on his work and his customers. The best tattoo shop!! So organized, so clean and so professional. I made an appointment with Matt Perlman after seeing his work on instagram (deadmess) and he's amazing. He was so courteous. He drew up my design and emailed me with it. He made any changes I requested without hesitation. He was easily reachable and very communicable between my consult and my actual appointment. Matt was very approachable and very comforting during the tattoo. The tattooTook 3 hours and it did not hurt a bit. His work is impeccable. He's amazing. I'll definitely be back for more ink from him!!!

She did an amazing job on both!!! Super detailed and attentive from start to finish. Sarah took her time to make sure each came out perfectly and went over care instructions thoroughly once we were all done. Can't say enough great things about her and the shop! The man is an artist and a machine. He did my tattoo that should have easily taken 6 hours and did it in 3 and a half. If I ever get another tattoo, I will only see him . Also he's a really nice person so your time will fly.

Alex Rockoff was an INCREDIBLE tattoo artist. He's amazingly talented, experienced and creatively artistic, which is everything you'd want in a guy about to put something permanent on your body. Let me tell you my experience. My mom and I walked into Aces High wanting matching but different sunflower tattoos. I had gotten a tattoo from the same place 4 years sooner, but not from the him. Alex was immediately recommended and we met with him that day despite me being from Orlando. We set the appointment and when we met with him for the tattoos, he absolutely did a phenomenal job. We changed nothing from his original designs and he went to work. He was fair and he took his time to do an astounding job. My mom and I are very impressed with his talent. He's also a freaking funny dude, too. 10/10 would recommend.

I made a deposit to have a small piece done by Joey. I went in a couple of weeks later to get the piece and he told me he didn't want to do it anymore. He referred me to a guy at a much further location where my deposit could be credited. This guy was booked until the date that I'm leaving. Now I'm leaving the state and they refuse to just refund my deposit! I showed up to my appointment and kept up my end. Not a nice way to treat your customers. You would think that a business would care more about having a good reputation than keeping my $60 deposit but I guess not.

This shop sets the bar for what quality but affordable tattoo shops should be. I made an appointment with Mel a few months ago because I was coming to see them from Orlando. She did a fantastic job of helping me to conceptualize my piece even through email and she was very prompt in helping answer any questions I had. When I arrived, everyone was friendly, the shop is warm and inviting and Mel was just a consummate professional. She has these wonderful little soap/lotion aftercare packs and the shop gave me a free tank top when I left. For those coming from out of the area, this place is easy to get to and worth the trip: professional artists in a friendly, drama-free shop that I could comfortably take a conservative relative to. Mel is changing locations in the months ahead to their Boynton location, so keep that in mind if you're seeking her specifically!

Great shop. Came in to do my first decent sized tattoo. The guy at the front Chris I think that was his name, was helpful and got an artist to speak to me right away. Tyler was the artist I spoke to. Tyler got me in the next two days for a 5pm appointment. When I showed up,he was ready to rock and roll. The tattoo came out great. He's an amazing artist. He was great to talk to and got the tattoo done quickly. The pricing was good. Will be coming back to visit Tyler at Aces High soon for another piece!

I went in to discuss an idea that I've been thinking about for a year. The first artist said that he doesn't do that type of tattoo (a guardian angel) so told me to talk to his boss, Phil Carlucci. I got nervous about explaining the idea because I am not an artist and Phil said that I am his "smoke break". As I tried to explain, his question was "are you trying to break my balls?" Then he said that he doesn't do "religious" tattoos. If you are looking for someone to work with you and help create an artistic vision for your tattoo...this is definitely not your place. These guys aren't caring and made me feel like I was asking for a favor from someone much more important than me; the paying customer. I have to believe that there are artists that love what they do and it is expressed in their interactions with potential canvases. My search continues for someone to help with my idea and their vision.

I can say that because of her, I might reconsider using the talented artist I found online and going somewhere else. I told her what I wanted done and she said I did not need an appointment for it and can just walk in. OK, no big deal. When she asked more detail about the tattoo, speaking for apparently all the artists in the shop, she said the work I wanted won't be possible, and I should just reconsider what I get. Ummm really? She had a bit of attitude saying it as well, don't really know what her deal was. Either way, I went to another shop and I asked if what I want is impossible, so the artist showed me other work he had in the same area with much more detail and complication than I wanted, sketching me out something really nice on the spot. Aces High, you need to talk to your front desk lady, she might have driven more people away with that wonderful attitude of hers.

my friend and i were looking to get matching glyph tattoos to commemorate our vacation time in florida. something small and simple. im a tattoo veteran, but it was my friend's first tattoo. i was really surprised to see every employee was polite and friendly, which is something ive seldom experienced in other shops back home. we literally *just* left the shop, and im writing this review. brittany at the front desk was polite and accommodating both over the phone and in person. tyler was super professional and helped put my friend's nerves at ease. we love our tattoos!

Set me up with Dave @davemeth_tattoosandpiercings and he drew it up (took longer than I expected, but I'm no pro). My very first tats and Dave was nice and professional. Gave all necessary aftercare instructions and I got a discount for paying cash. And a free t shirt. All in all a simple tattoo but good first expirence

Great shop! Everyone is very professional and respectful, of clients and each other. The artists are very polite and receptive to client requests but still manage to give their input where needed to endure a finished product that looks amazing. It's very clean and inviting. Aces keeps its integrity as an art house trying to beautify and not just a tattoo shop looking to make money. I would highly reccomend Joe Buchman for his black and grey and attention to detail! Boswell also is great at clean and bright traditional. Best shop in palm beach by far!

This is the first place I went to get tattooed at in West Palm Beach. I researched and Ace's High Tattoo Shop is the best and most sterile. I got new tattoos, touch ups and cover ups. The tattoo Artist I always and will always go to is Melissa Perlman. She is great and very talented. I love her work. I have gotten a small purple ribbon bow, touched up a tattoo that faded, covered up a tattoo with a beautiful purple rose and another cover up with a beautiful peacock design. I highly recommend this place to anyone who wants to get tattooed. They are all very talented artist and this place is very clean.
