This place is very unprofessional. i have gotten 3 tattoos there and most of the time i didn't enjoy my experience and this last time was the last time i will be coming here. the only reason i'm giving this place two stars is because i got a tattoo done by Presto and i did enjoy it and he was really great. the other two times tho we're not good. both tattoos were small and i just had a little bit of adjustments to what they had drawn up. i had asked the artist to make the letters just a tad smaller and when i had ask he pitched a fit. he goes "oh my god yes it will look a little smaller for you" when he had finished the tattoo it did not look smaller at all. i thought it was extremely rude and made my tattoo look bulky and not as elegant as i wanted. it also took him a very long time to start because he would sit and flirt with the counter girl and took cigarette breaks and also just sat on his phone for 10 minuets. i'm very disappointed and will never be going again. I walked into this shop today and explained to the lady at the front desk that I'd like to plan out a tattoo with an artist. I told her that I'd had a margarita at VIP and was having lunch with my husband so I didn't want the work today but wanted it get it done tomorrow, and she then told me that I should definitely "come back when I wasn't so drunk" and that the artists could NOT plan a tattoo with me unless I was getting it done immediately after. I tried to explain to her what I wanted, and she said I needed to bring in a picture from Google. I told her I didn't want to bring in a picture because it was a custom tattoo and I knew how to explain it, if I could talk with someone who could draw it, and she said that I also couldn't plan with anyone unless I brought in a picture from Google that was at least similar to what I wanted. So 1) don't come here if you want to talk to an artist and plan with them and 2) make sure you want a tattoo that comes from Google! Unreal. I live 2 minutes away from this place and wanted a small tattoo but also am looking to get a large back piece right after that, and now I have to drive further away to try to find someone else who can do work that's not from a picture online. Had a great experience buying body jewelry and getting it installed by Dave. I was already pierced but had my nose ring out for a while so it was a little tough getting a new ring in. Dave was as gentle as possible and got the new ring in without having to re-pierce. He and the woman at reception were super helpful and patient in guiding me through picking out the jewelry... Jayson met with us the day prior to study our tattoos and offer his feedback. He provided us with his email address to continue the discussion because he knew I was still making final edits. Just walked in to get a tattoo with my friend, mind you we have gotten tattooed here before. The man at the counter was really rude and seemed to be making fun of what we wanted. When I told him what size I wanted it to be he said "that's not even a tattoo". I highly recommend! I came in for my first tattoo and was quickly helped out and walked through everything. I've been to a few tattoo parlors with friends, and this place was by far the cleanest and most professional!! My artist was Jayson Velez and he did an awesome job on my dog tattoo!! I brought in a picture of my dog and he did a spot on job drawing her out for me! Almost a week later and completely healed. No blotchy or uneven lines, overall fantastic artist!! This place is one of the best places I have ever went to. I was here on vacation for a special vacation with my sister. We decided to get tattoos while here. This place was so welcoming, even though we were walk-ins. They were helpful, courteous, and efficient. We patiently waited, as we did not have an appointment, and were seen surprisingly quick. Had a very poor experience here. I don't remember the tattoo artist who helped me, but he was extremely rude his responses were short and of no help to me. It felt like I was talking to a wall, in result I ended up with a tattoo I don't love and it's not where I wanted it either. On top of that there is a gap in my tattoo where the lines are supposed to connect but they don't. I went with a friend to get commemorative trip tattoos. Mine was pretty simple except I wanted to do a little bit of it in color. Tony is who we worked with and he said it was no problem. He did my friend's tat quickly and it looked great. He did mine and I was so happy with the outcome. At least I was until I got home and realized one part of it that was supposed to be in green (it was a turtle done in green and just one back fin was in black). I wrote to them and of course they apologized and said if I am ever in the area to come back and they can help do something to make it look better. What they can't do is make it look like it is supposed to look. When I showed a friend at home who has a tattoo shop, he said it was obvious it was done in black and then gone over in green. The least he could have done was tell me then instead of just trying to cover up his mistake and hope I wouldn't notice.   The shop was clean and well-lit and they weren't blaring heavy metal music like most other places so I gave them 2 stars. I can't give them any more than that when they messed up a really easy tattoo. Obviously I will never go back there and I will have my friend do what he can to make it look better. Read Less

Highly recommend this place! Me, my mom, sister, Aunt and cousin were staying in the area for a girls weekend and decided we all wanted to get tattoos. My family and I are from upstate New York and have been visiting Treasure Island for over 30 years. This year, my mom, sister and I planned a memorial trip for my grandfather who passed away just over 2 months ago. My sister and I wanted to get a tattoo that represented his love for Treasure Island, and decided on Treasure Island Tattoo Company. Me and my two sisters got meaningful vacation tattoos today - jayson's honesty, professionalism, and creativity is what sold us to begin with. He gave us his opinion, provided us with several versions of our design, and got them done quickly and painlessly without making us feel rushed. Our tattoos all turned out perfectly! My sister and I decided to get our second tattoos while on vacation. We chose this place based on the previous tattoos some of the artists here have done. We unluckily got Jayson as our artist. He was really nice and seemed pretty cool. To put it in plane words he didn't listen at all to what we wanted. We kept saying we wanted this or that and he wouldn't really listen and would just go back to his original cartoonish drawing. In my opinion, I don't think the guy really has much creativity or artistic talent. He seemed to not be willing to get creative to give us what we wanted which is what the tattoo artist should be doing. I thought about not getting it after not really liking the drawing he did but he convinced me to trust him. My sister and I are both unhappy with our new tats and are already thinking of ways to get them re done not even 24 hours later. If you go here, do not get Jayson. Adrienne and Taylor did an industrial piercing for my older daughter and a nose piercing for my younger daughter. They came out great and both my girls are thrilled with their new piercings. This is for those of you scrounging to find a yelped tatoo parlor and failing.  We were saddled with the trouble of being on vaca and wanting that memorable tattoo we have pined for for years.  HahaNo seriously, these people were amazing.  The tattoos were great, but the service was amazing!  The parlor itself is very clean and bright.  They sent us next door for a quick drink while we waited 10 minutes an when we were talking about being hungry they gave us a sandwich from the deli down the way.  We mentioned not having gotten a tattoo in 15 years they reassured us that needles have come a long way and indeed they have.  It barely felt like he touched me and poof it was over.  The end result was supurb and I plan on going back the next time I am in town.
