I went for the first time and there was a piercer named Megan, she could tell it was my first time getting my nips pierced and nose repierced. She is the most amazing woman and I love her for it. Today I went to Angel tattoo and got my septum pierced. While the experience there was great, my piercer did not tighten the ball on and it fell off around 9:30 pm. This left me in a panic because everywhere was closed and I was worried that it’d wiggle its way out while I was sleeping. All frazzled, I went to Ink Spot and MEGHAN SAVED THE DAY. She not only replaced the ball, but she also replaced the one that was still on to ensure it wouldn’t fall off and insisted that I didn’t need to pay her. She was amazingly sweet and kind. Absolute garbage. Quality of work, management, and the overall shop was terrible. We got matching tattoos last year from the shop, and the artist Lucky who has since been fired, was heavy handed and left us with non matching horrible tattoos. They contracted a bad artist, put us with him advertising his good work, and now want no part in helping us fix the work that they allowed to happen in their shop. The big guy "shop manager" had a very non compassionate response to our complaints. Even if there was nothing you could do, at least explain it so we don't feel even more gypped by your condescending attitude. Read Less

I went here well after posted closing hours on the door were passed. I had been turned away by literally EVERY tattoo shop in ybor. They welcomed my friend and I in with calm sweet arms. Really enjoyed my experience from the get go. I met Sean at the 7/11 next door and told him I wanted to get a tattoo and he told me about Hunter. I showed Hunter what I wanted and he had everything ready to go in 30 minutes. The experience was great. He held conversation throughout the whole thing (nearly 4 hour session) except at the difficult parts where he responded with the occasionally "uh-huh" and "yep". The tattoo turned out beautifully and even now I keep him updated with the healing process. Ink Spot at Lakeland Mall - was in the mall for something else and saw the attractive shop. Met with Kevin and we found a US Flag that I really liked, we added the words "Lest We Forget". I'm diabetic and shortly into the session I felt faint, and was having a drop in my sugar. Kevin and the rest of the folks were SO understanding. Went in today and met Troy and the crew at the Altamonte location. I am an Iraqi Freedom Vet and I needed a cover up on a piece that was done in 2003. I have never met an artist like Troy. He understood where I was coming from and what I needed. He went above and beyond what I thought I expected. I was treated with respect and they made sure I got the best design and the right look.
