Eric is great at his job. Not only is he talented and skillful, he's also very social and informative when it comes to how to tattoo aftercare instructions. I love how he dedicates his time and effort to please the customer and offer the best result possible, after all, a tattoo is something that's gonna be on your skin forever. Eric is the best! Not only is he a talented tattoo artist, but he's down to earth and just a pleasure to be around. He will be the only person that I go to for my future tattoos. He makes sure that you are happy with the placement of the tattoo before he starts. If you come to him with an idea, he will work with you to get the tattoo to look as you pictures it. You know the experience that you have where you walk into a place and you just know that it's just the right fit?  Well this was one of those places.  I was a tat virgin.. I had no idea what I was getting myself into, the only thing I knew was that Eric Taylor's Instagram ( etaylor592 ) was amazing!!! I came in for what I thought was going to be an instant tattoo, but instead he spent two hours making absolutely sure that I would get the tattoo that I wanted.  And then he insisted that I come back another day as he wanted me to sleep on it.  He also suggested a slightly similar image than the one that I had chose as he felt it would go better based on the location of where I wanted it and after he put a non permanent version on me, I agreed.  I've since gone back multiple times and have given him my entire back.  His shop is clean,  and he is very much like a medical professional.  There is nothing that screams stereotypical tattoo parlor about his place.  I have never even walked into another tattoo parlor as the outside of most shops disgusts me, but with Eric's place I do not feel at all afraid.  It is not full of tattoos on the wall.. it has amazing paintings that he did himself.  I have sent him many a friend and what I appreciate about Eric is that he will refuse to do a tattoo if he feels it's not in the best interest of the client..  And I respect that.  A tattoo is on you for life and you want to make sure that you trust the person doing it.  Regarding previous reviews, I encourage you to look at his Instagram work.. The only racial issue that I've personally observed is that he refuses to do glow in the dark aliens.. He works with a variety of individuals on a variety of tattoos..  His strengths are definitely more nature based.. That in mind, he drew an amazing pokemon on me that will always be my favorite.. It was my first tattoo and it changed my life.. Regarding pain, tattoos really aren't that painful.  I'm not saying that they're pain free but he makes it a point to observe you and he feels like it's too much, he will stop.. I really respect him and I truly doubt there is anyone with as much expertise and talent as this person has..  My biggest complaint is that the name of his business is Xanadu yet when I run into clients the immediate comment is "I see you got an Eric Taylor".. He does not like to push his perfectionism and detail on anyone but all of his clients refer to his work "Eric Taylor's".  He is an artist in every sense of the word and I doubt I will go anywhere else.  Thank you Eric for your professionalism and expertise you are simply too good for words.  Looking forward to many Eric Taylor's in the future.
