But the art that comes out of that place, by Terrence (I can only speak on his behalf) is quality. Although, while we there another artist there was finishing up a piece that covered the entire leg of another client and it was top quality work too.We went through Terrence's portfolio AND his Instagram, and his growth is evident. Let me start out by saying I’m a mid-fifties customer, new to tattooing and wanting to a get a BIG tattoo with lots of ink!! After looking around the internet for a couple of months, I finally settled on a tribal wolf /moon design. I took some images I liked to Terence Grantham at Old Glory Tattoo. Terence looked them over and said he could make a custom design with the main theme of the tribal wolf/moon look. We set an appointment for a couple of weeks later. I continued to look at images of wolves and moons. We had the appointment set for a Thursday afternoon, so the beginning of that week, I was having some second/third thoughts about the images, size, etc. basically everything about what I had sent him. The feeling continued until the day of appointment in which I had told my friends that I may not get a tattoo today!! WRONG… when I got to the shop, Terence came out with a GREAT design where he had taken the main idea from all the images that I had sent him. In fact, he spent a couple of hours redrawing/customizing the design to get the final tattoo. Dude, it was like he was crawling around in my fricking head…he NAILED it!! He made all my doubts disappear with his creative design. The tattoo that he designed is now on my upper arm/shoulder and it looks AWESOME!! I’m glad we made the tattoo larger so that it filled out my upper arm/shoulder and the lines are sharp, clear & crisp plus lots of ink!! They are Extremely talented and the shop is CLEAN and open so it makes for a comfortable environment for getting work done... The artist are welcoming and I have spent a lot of time there so I've seen them interact with several clients and am always impressed by how friendly and willing to work with the client they are to achieve the tattoo that the client will love... Old Glory tattoo was the first tattoo parlor I went too. My friend got hers done and said she had some pain as expected but the tattoo artist made it as comfortable as possible! I went to old glory for a tattoo on my forearm. Immediately the artist told me that my idea wouldn't work without taking the time to think about it. He did seem very friendly and professional. After we had agreed on the design, I had started to get tattooed. Having four tattoos (one on the other arm in the same place), I am able to deal just fine with the pain but I found myself cringing beyond that "uncomfortable feeling." I came to find out that the artist had tattooed too hard and my skin was blown out around the tattoo, it had looked like someone had tried to stick an IV in my arm 15+ times. That did not go away. The tattoo took 6 weeks to fully heal (usually takes 2-3 weeks) because he had really scarred the skin. During the healing process the tattoo hurt every single day for over a week as though it was fresh due to tattooing too hard. The actual tattoo was really messy and not what I wanted at all. I ended up going to euphoria and meeting with Alain who was more than willing to work with me in doing a cover up. The coverup hurt 10 times less than the initial tattoo even though it was more detailed and bigger. The skin will forever be scarred and hopefully won't be so visible through the cover up. When I had gone back to the shop, the owner had told me that the blow out would eventually be flushed out of my system but he offered to coverup the tattoo free of charge. Overall, I wouldn't go back and I feel as though my $180 for a small small tattoo (not including new coverup) and weeks of pain is not worth the trip. Read Less

I went in for my sixth tattoo, absolutely best experience I've had getting one. I was a walk-in so I was afraid of being turned away. I called ahead, even that was an great experience! Got in, showed my picture of what I wanted, what I didn't want as well. Artists (I'm kicking myself for forgetting his name) went back drew it, it's important to note that another artist stopped for a break, saw me sitting there and took time out of his break to give me the proper paperwork to fill out. I think this is important to note that there was zero competition between them, only uplifting and helping. The place is clean and everything was done properly, I was in and out easily and fast but wasn't rushed. Personally my favorite shop in tally, especially if you like American traditional. The tattooer's have been tattooing for years and their experience is incomparable to other shops in the city. They are the kind of shop a college kid wont regret getting tattooed by. I came in, talked to Ben about a tattoo idea I had in mind and I made an appointment. I got a tattoo of the triforce from the Legend of Zelda behind my right ear a couple months ago here. Unfortunately I cannot remember which gentleman did my tattoo but I remember everyone was nice and very helpful. They made sure they knew exactly what tattoo I wanted and where I wanted it.
