No Regrets Tattoos is amazing!! I have had two small tattoos done here and I love them both! The line work is simple yet well done and both healed up really nicely. Friends that accompanied me or that I have recommended the shop to that ended up getting tattooed have also loved the art they received here. I definitely plan on coming back in soon for a new piece. I don't typically write reviews for anything, but I feel strongly about my recent experience here. I rated 3 stars in fairness of receiving great tattoos here in the past. However, all my tattoos have not been great and criticism has been met with poor customer service. I've received 6 tattoos from 2 artists here, over the past 3 years. The initial issue was 2 years ago when I received a tattoo from an artist that resulted in the healed design being raised above the skin. I experienced delayed healing (that was not an error in self-care); pain/burning at the site for several weeks; allergic reaction to the ink that still results in flare ups of itchy skin (which I don't blame this part on the artist). When I expressed concerns, I was told "it's fine; it's still healing". In hindsight, I had an acute infection (that I'm lucky didn't worsen). I resolved simply to not get tattooed by this artist again and went on to receive other great tattoos from another artist here (1 I'd worked with before and liked his work). The issue with this specific artist came in recently trying to combine his work with previous work from the other artist. Their style together (side by side) is a clash for me, and it's not a cohesive add on as I clearly stated I wanted. Despite the initial tattoo add on causing a gap I didn't want, I defaulted to his explanation that some areas can't be effectively closed when you're adding on. With our history, I trusted his judgement. The second tattoo he added to my arm resulted in the same thing so I became more adamant in explaining my vision (still leaving openness for suggestions) in a full or partial cover-up of some parts (whatever was feasible) to close these gaps/clash in style. However, I was met with a lot of opposition (some of which I understood; others I didn't). I was told how I "should" look at my art because they're "solid pieces" (despite the fact that in the past this artist openly told me my arm was tattooed too hard by his coworker, resulting in my scarring, and the brand ink used isn't good, which led to my allergic reaction). I was told cover-ups are only for "bad" tattoos; I'm too "in my head"; I'm "rushing it" (adding to my quarter sleeve); there's nothing wrong with having space in my tattoos b/c the pieces can be seen more clearly; tattoos rarely turn out as planned; he doesn't see anything wrong with it; and I should "get the idea of a cover-up out my head right now". These things were said with an attitude, but I don't get offended easily. I'm usually inclined to give someone the chance to fix whatever I have an issue with, if it's not too drastic, but these all sound like excuses to me. I'm sure some things artists hear are unreasonable expectations, but this felt more like gas-lighting. I went and got a second opinion from another shop and they instantly saw the issue, before I even started to explain. While they agreed a full cover-up would likely worsen things b/c of my raised tattoo, they were realistic in what to expect cosmetically from a partial cover-up on parts of the raised tat to achieve overlap with existing flowers w/ a new floral design (as opposed to just adding more leaves, which is an idea suggested here I didn't like). They had plenty suggestions on color schemes and design reworks (on none scarred skin) that actually matched my vision (an overlap the artist here told me wasn't practical). Instead of putting in the extra work to combine the area w/o gaps like I wanted (which is clearly doable), he tried to convince me an alternative is "better". I'm not an artist. Hell, I can't even draw. But I don't think artists are above mistakes/missing the point. Instead of accepting and embracing this didn't meet the mark for me, I felt labeled as the issue. For this specific reason (b/c honestly I see nothing wrong with using a couple different artists, depending on their style/what you're trying to achieve), I won't be back. I don't want to be badmouthed/made to feel like an inconvenience/like my vision is secondary to someone I'm pushing hundreds of dollars into. Read Less

Please, please take this as ABSOLUTE truth! I have had tats done by an employee at this establishment in the past when he was working at a diff place. Was so happy that I followed “him” to TWO different locations for his artistic services. Not such a great idea as I was “subbed” out to a co-worker. Tat is atrocious, been on antibiotics for weeks for infection, still in agonizing pain w scabs, ....totally disappointed, and angry!! Wouldn’t even REFUND my money for my Drs appts and meds. You call THIS customer service? Well, I DONT! How dare you lure peeps in w your “it’ll be fine to use my other friend” and then scar me for life and cause medical complications? Wow.
