This is a great tattoo shop. When the same name keeps buzzing around town each time someone mentions a tattoo shop, you can feel confident that this is the place to go. I have only gotten a cover up from Alan and he does amazing work. To my knowledge, the only way to get in with him  specifically is to come in (preferably at the time of opening) to place your name on his list and he will give you a call to indicate about what time he would be free. To me, it's totally worth it. Touchups are free for life and you can't beat that. Prices are reasonable and fair. The shop is clean and sanitary and by observation it appears that most of patrons are repeat customers. The staff seem to get along really well. They are always laughing and joking and looking out for each other. There is bound to be some upbeat music playing in the background and the vibe is just all around good. This is now going to be the spot of all of my future Tallahassee tattoos. My review is mainly geared toward Alain, who helped breathe life back into a badly done wolf tattoo that I received a few years ago at a different shop. This tattoo was a source of massive embarrassment for me before I came into Euphoria, and after Alain's masterful touch-up, I can enjoy showing it off. AND it was relatively inexpensive. While I was in the chair, I was able to see another customer's large cover-up piece (also done by Alain) that was absolutely gorgeous. The man is a true artist with new pieces and replacing or touching up old ones. Quick tip: call the shop, go in, or email ahead to ask about appointments and payments. I went in getting a small tattoo. It was my fiest and I was very nervous. The staff was so nice. I just did a walk in and was with Alain. For doing something so small and quick he was still so nice. It made the over all experience so great. It took all my nerves away and I am in love with my tattoo. I will definitely be going back there to get all my future tattoos. If no stars was an option I definitely would have put no stars I was looking to get my sons name tattooed on my arm nothing bold very simple I asked if there was a limit on how much you had to spend 50 I asked him did you have some art work that I could look over while I waited whoever the guy was at the front desk said the walk in are usually taken in the morning just to get on the waiting list you can’t make an appointment unless you know which artist is doing your work.......never mind I never been here before.....the guy I spoke with was just sitting in his chair or was just lounging in a chair you mean to tell me that you didnt wanna make a quick 50-60 bucks for a simple name tattoo needless to say I was not taken seriously nor was my business wanted I probably will never return here oh yeah I walked out with a card and no work done Read Less

I have gotten 2 tattoos here by Alain. I have waited a very long time to get these done and I couldn't be happier. One covered up an very old, faded prison looking tattoo. The other one is just something that truly spoke to me. Alain did a fantastic job. He is truly an artist. He did exactly what I asked for, and better than I had expected. He was fairly priced. I definitely feel I got more than I paid for. The shop has policies, and if you are respectful to the people there, you will earn their respect. I am planning at least 2 more tattoos, maybe 3, and I won't go to anybody else. Being in the shop always makes me feel better. I have gotten 5 more tattoos since my lady post. I refuse to go anywhere but Euphoria to get my tattoos. More specifically, I would always prefer to have Kate do my tattoo. She is amazing. Her work is great. I always set up an appointment with her and she’s always right on time. Her prices are very fair. The shop is great, the guys are very cool and down-to-earth. I’ve never had a bad experience. Honestly good art done here but both times I have came in I received unnecessarily poor customer service. If a customer buys a tattoo that's permanent on their body from here they should be able to do any touch ups on that piece without any questions or comments. I received the comment "that's how that artist's art looks, you don't come back and ask them to change their art" and that's just not cool when the piece is flawed and on my body forever. However I have seen many good and amazing pieces come from here I just won't be going back. Read Less

My personal favorite shop in Tallahassee and the only one I will get tattooed at for as long as I live here. I’ve gotten several tattoos from Nate and Luis and it’s always been a great experience. They’ve become good friends of mine over the past several years, a huge reason why I’ve always chosen to come back as if the quality of the work itself wasn’t a good enough reason. But I have to be fair and give a shout out to the rest of the shop as well. Kate, Michael, and Alain have all done great work on my friends and family and deserve recognition for their dedication to the art. I don’t think there’s a style of tattooing that you can’t get done at this shop, they all are so talented and can do just about anything you ask. I also feel inclined to address some of the bad reviews I’m seeing. I’ll keep it short, customer service is a two way street and if you want to be respected for giving Euphoria your business then show your artists respect. 5/5. got my first tattoo by a guy literally named jesus. came out great and he didn't obliterate me after having to move the stencil 4 times. owner told me my design was "fucking sick". artists discussed their love of orange juice with pulp and called a pulp hating artist a freak. I went to Euphoria based on the high reviews. This was my first tattoo, and was a simple outline of a cat. My friend got tattooed by Kate, which I should have done as well. But since it was so simple, I figured anyone could do it. I ended up being tattooed by Louis, who was great and funny. A couple of days later, I realized that the tattoo was unevenly inked and had some random lines that did not follow the outline. I will definitely need to go back and have it touched up. Warning: Louis is unprofessional and extremely sarcastic. This floated my boat, but my friend was lost through most of the encounter. When I wanted my fist tattoo about 12 years ago I went to a number of shops before deciding on Euphoria because of all the rave reviews I had heard of the artists there, especially Alain, as well as the good vibe I got when I walked in the door. The artist that helped me for my first tattoo did an great job of directing me to a design she reconfigured to make it my own. I was so pleased I went back to have her do a  half sleeve on my left arm, again with awesome results. I moved to Ft Lauderdale but still wanted the shop to do my next two tattoos. I made an appointment with Mike, as my original artist had moved to SC.  I drove up Thanksgiving 2016 to have two tattoos done, on my right foreman and left wrist. I brought with me a sample of what I wanted so there would be no mistakes. As Mike worked he told me about the shop's policy letting me know touch-ups were free. I came back home and after the healing process realized that some of the letters were not inked completely showing some skin within the outline. I called and made another appointment for Friday, February 17, for Mike to do the touch ups. I had top cancel that appointment due to personal reasons but said I would reschedule next time I was going to be in the area. I called to make another appointment for Friday, March 10, and was told that Mike did not do touch-ups on Friday or Saturday. I explained I was driving 6 hours for this to be done and the person who answered said that was Mike's policy, even though my last touch-up appointment was on a Friday. I am totally frustrated that this shop, so well talked about, treated a customer in this way. I guess I will have to find a local shop to do the touch-ups and pay for it since I cannot coordinate my times in the Tallahassee area to Mike's touch-up policy. Read Less

Luis did 2 tats on me. He was super friendly. He asked questions about tats,that I didn't even consider. He didn't just slap on stencil and go. They are still rough and raw,but look great. I will definitely go back to Luis. I have never gone back to an artist before. Everyone in studio was in a good mood and joked,but never stopped working. Great weekend place to get ink done. Amazing service and talent. They were very laid back and very professional. Mike did my skull tattoo and it's not your typical skull. It has amazing detail and beautiful shadowing and looks very 3 dimensional. All I can say is wow and I'm going back, when it heals, for him to finish. No pressure no bs. They all seemed genuine and concerned about what you want about your tattoo and to make it to your liking. Mike also made many very cool suggestions that made his artwork standout. I've heard nothing but great things about the artist at this shop but unfortunately the piss poor attitude of a shop manager or assistant forced me to leave the shop without making a appointment. Around 2 or 3 years ago I walked into the shop and asked a couple of questions about a design for a arm piece. A assistant told me to stop dicking around because there are other people that want tattoos. I immediately walked out of the shop and took my business elsewhere because the manager didn't make me feel welcome as a customer. Originally I went to old glory tattoo shop for a tattoo on my forearm. After the tattoo artist there had blown out the tattoo so much so it looked like my arm was bruised and distorted the actual tattoo, I began speaking to Alain at Euphoria for coverup ideas. He was so easy going, kind, and made I was comfortable. He was honest and told me the skin wasn't ready to be covered up yet. We met two weeks later (6 weeks into the healing process) and he had an incredible tattoo of a peony where the blowout and eyes used to be. The coverup Alain did hurt 10 times less than the initial tattoo even though it was more detailed, bigger, and he was tattooing on top of the old tattoo. I ended up paying less (HALF THE AMOUNT) for the much better coverup than I did for the actual tattoo, so definitely decently priced for the best in town!! I'll have to go back in a little bit for touch ups but Alain truly saved me and he is just an amazing artist. The other artists in the shop were really cool too! Best tattoo I've gotten in Tallahassee so far! They let me come in practically after hours to get a 3 to 4 inch black and grey tattoo, that he drew on the spot and looks great. After hearing much high praise about this shop, a friend and I went to get some simple tattoos done. The folks at Euphoria are friendly, helpful, and patient. My friend was a tat virgin and Luis was very kind to her and made us both laugh. Luis was militant about cleanliness and worked efficiently. Both pieces took very little time and we had fun admiring the other artists' work on the walls. I was very distraught when I had a blowout about a month later. I came back to Euphoria and Luis took a look at the issue. He proposed a clear plan to correct the blemish free of charge and I came back a few days later to have it done. I have been a client at Euphoria Tattoo since they first opened eons ago. I have had a couple of tattoos done here and also took my 65 year old Mother here for her first tattoo. Recently, I have gone through some major life changes and wanted a new tattoo to represent it all. I researched and studied words and symbols that related to my experiences. I took my ideas to Alain Rodgers, who owns the shop and tattoos there, and he put together THE MOST BEAUTIFUL piece I could have hoped for. And when it was actually inked on my back....well, it was AMAZING!!! It's big, bright, beautiful, and SO colorful. It was everything I asked for and more. I *LOVE* Euphoria and the people that work here! Before coming here I've never had a tattoo but it was something I've always wanted. When I first walked in, the two guys working the front desk were kind, attentive, and really funny. When I came back the next day to get my 2 tattoos done, I had an appointment with Kane and he actually saw me early! I told him flat out ,""This is my first tattoo and I want it done as quickly as possible since I hate pain."" to which he replied ""How about I do it as good as possible?"" That's when I knew I came to the right place. My tattoos were fairly small and simple (dog paws near my right wrist & Japanese Kanji symbols vertically down my upper back), and even though I agonized over the thought of being in immense pain for the rest of the day, Kane kept me distracted and laughing the entire time I was there (which was all of a half hour)! The staff here was kind, professional, courteous and respectful from the second I walked in. What really sold me was just how wonderful my tattoos came out and how Kane really took the time to put me at ease throughout the whole procedure. After one hour of getting both tattoos I was no longer in the slightest bit of discomfort and I'm sure Kane will be shocked when I come back for my next one.
