This place was such a great experience for my first body piercing! First of all, making an appointment was very easy and I would highly recommend doing so since they're pretty busy to do walk ins. And once I got there, the entire staff was extremely nice and professional and my piercer helped to put me at ease because I was extremely nervous. I came in for a regular navel piercing but was informed that it could be dangerous with the location of my intestines, so they worked with me to find one that I would enjoy! Now, I love my anchor piercing so much and am so happy with how it turned out! Please go here for all of your piercing needs!! I have never been so impressed! I got a piercing done at a different location about two weeks ago and it started to become infected. I went to Binks to see if they had any recommendations. The girl at the front was SO kind and helpful. She went over very detailed care instructions. They also switched out the piece of jewelry for me to a piece that would be better for healing. Ashley changed out the jewelry for me and was so gentle and kind. Very nice experience! The receptionist (Jess) was able to handle any questions and was really helpful with picking out jewelry and filling out paperwork. My piercer (Hannah) was extremely kind throughout the whole procedure-- she always made me aware of what she was doing and why, she made sure the holes were even before piercing, and she made sure I knew when she was going to actually pierce. I got a little lightheaded after my first piercing (cartilage), so she was really patient and waited until I felt better to do my others (second holes on my lobes). She also gave me some ginger ale afterwards when I was feeling weak. I'd highly recommend this location to anyone looking to get ANYTHING pierced! One more thing to know: my goal is to have both my cartilages pierced, but they only do one side at a time here just to make it easier for sleeping and talking on the phone and such. I’ve visited here on a Saturday afternoon to get my nose pierced. The place was packed. However the experience was very smooth and quick. I waited about 30 minutes to see my piercer. Naomi was amazing. She made me feel very calm and kept me informed on exactly what was happening step-by-step. The prices are a bit high and that’s why they only got four stars. Very professional place, I was very nervous about getting my piercings done. As soon as I walk through the door the receptionist was super sweet and helpful. Her personality was awesome!!! She answered all of my questions and made me feel welcome. She help me pick my jewelry and gave me a cost of everything before I made a decision to have it done or not. The establishment boasts they host "Registered Nurses" to perform the piercings & when I called to make my appointment I told them I was a nurse & was looking for a clean, high quality establishment. When I arrived the young (apprentice) took me back and pierced me. My issue is I paid much more than I would have anywhere else for a "nurse" to pierce me & I had a girl practicing on my piercing. It was pierced at an angle in my upper cartilage and looked terrible. The post she used was way too short. The swelling in my ear couldn't be accommodated with the short post. (Either it was too short or due to her piercing my cartilage at a severe angle it wasted post space.) I would have went back, but when I called to explain my incredibly unpleasant experience I felt like they could care less about my experience. I was so unhappy with the entire experience that I would rather continue to buy my favorites, like Maria Tash online & be pierced elsewhere & upgrade my jewelry on my own time than pay for an overpriced apprentice to ruin my piercing. If you need a piercing, this is the place to go. I went on a Saturday and they were able to schedule me for later that day. I went here to get my nose pierced and it was the most sterile piercing room I've ever been in. The woman who pierced me was very reassuring and explained everything she was doing. She even asked me if I wanted her to warn me before she pierced me, or surprise me. I got a silver stud and the piercing for $60. I had a great experience here! Got my nostril pierced. It was clean, calm, and quick. Also they were very knowledgeable and told me all about how I should care for my piercing during the healing process before I even got the piercing done! It is very clean in there. I'm pretty sure my piercer changed gloves like 5 times and cleaned everything several times. She was very kind and calm; I felt like a little kid getting a shot at the doctor's office haha. I really enjoyed my experience getting my tongue piercing done here. As someone with several prior piercings so more than my fair share of piercing experiences I would have to say that this was the best by far. Everyone was welcoming and my piercer was professional but personable which was much appreciated! Also worth noting is the sense of fast camaraderie felt between the staff and their patrons that you quickly become a part of when you enter the shop. While everyone is welcomed you can't deny the feeling of 'girl power' when you are there. Very empowering to see in an otherwise male dominant industry.The only fault I could think to mention is that when I went to the shop for the first time on a separate occasion I purchased a charm for my septum piercing and was a bit surprised by the price considering I was only buying a portion of the jewelry. Costing me almost the price I would've paid for a piercing at another shop. I realized, however, that you are paying for quality products and services that are going into/being done to your body so at the end of the day I personally feel that the pricing is just. I came here because I had gotten a piercing 2 years ago at a different place and it recently seemed to be infected.  I went on a busy Friday night so I unfortunately had to wait almost an hour as a walk-in, but I'm so glad I did because all of the girls there were so sweet and helpful and I truly felt that they cared about my wellbeing.  The entire place is extremely sanitary and I felt very comfortable having them take out my piercing and clean it and put it back in.  I'm a little squeamish with blood and the girl who was helping me checked on me the whole time and was so great.  Can honestly recommend Bink to anyone who's looking for a good piercing place in Tallahassee! Was yelled at and embarrassed by the manager. I came in to try and correct an issue from a previous experience at Bink and was told over the phone they could "work it out." Bottom line I waited 1.5 hrs to be told they would not fix the issue and was yelled at. I brought a friend as well to get a peircing because I thought it was a great place since they were so willing to fix the issue. She was more embarrassed than I was by how the manager spoke to me. She decided to not get a piercing and it has scared her off from piercing studios. They may have a RN but the need to work on customer service. There are plenty of other clean and NICE studios in Tallahassee. Even if there weren't I'd rather travel out of town for a piercing than ever be treated the way I was a Bink. Read Less

I went to Bink the day after a negative piercing experience at a different piercing shop in town. About an hour after I left the original studio, I called Bink to see if they'd be willing to do a jewelry change because I was incredibly unhappy with what I had. They agreed, and I went in the next afternoon- it was a Saturday, and they were busy, but I was still seen fairly quickly. Had I not gone to Bink, I am certain I already would have ripped out these piercings. Not only did they switch out my jewelry, but they were courteous and incredibly helpful when I began to feel a little dizzy. I was given a sugar pill and an ice pack, and she waited until I felt 100% before she switched out the second piercing.Moreover, she checked to see what aftercare instructions I had been given at the other studio, and informed me that I had been told piercing care instructions that were about two decades out of date and would prolong my healing/put me at risk for infection. She gave me proper aftercare (no problems so far!) and also offered to give me advice when I began shopping for new jewelry, after warning me that many online jewelry shops do not offer safe/reliable metal. She said that if I ever had any questions about the legitimacy or quality of jewelry online, I could email them the link to the shop and they would let me know if it was worth buying.I had a wonderful experience here, and I wish I would have gone here in the first place- the only reason I didn't was because the piercings were $50 less at the other studio. The ladies are very nice, professional, and helpful. I got my nipples done and was comfortable the whole time. I gave four stars because one of the piercings is a bit crooked. My OCD self notices it and is a bit annoyed, but I'm just happy to have them done. On another note, I'm very happy with how the piercing has healed. I was really nervous that I was going to have the dreadful "crusties" that I had read about online. However, I don't. Hands-down, the best piercing parlor in Tallahassee, and the Tallahassee surrounding area. Bink is a registered nurse, his staff are completely professional and very well-trained. The jewelry is of the highest quality. I love this shop because the piercers truly have your best interests at heart - I've had a few piercings I've wanted but have been told are not a good idea due to my anatomy. They aren't just interested in making a buck. Once I had some jewelry that broke and Bink replaced it for free, without question, and I didn't even have a receipt with me. Horrible young lady working there today. I went in with my 24 year old daughter to buy her a septum ring. The salesperson started to help us and then took a phone call which lasted about 10 minutes. While she was on the phone call another person came in the store. When she finally got off the phone she helped the other person and then another person behind that person.  I told her we were ready with our selections & that we were next but she told me she'd get to us in a minute and proceeded to help the two people who came in about 15 minutes behind us. We had already been waiting there 30 minutes. I finally lost my patience and left the store and left my daughter there to purchase a nose ring on her own. I have never been treated so rudely with such poor customer service. I personally have worked in retail and her behaviour towards us was extremely unprofessional. No stars. I went in for a cartilage piercing. I had one done at the mall once when I was younger and dumb and let them use a piercing gun- not the way to go for a cartilage piercing! It was soon infected and I took it out completely.This time I wanted to go somewhere good, so I went here after reading the great reviews. I was a walk-in, but they do take appointments. The girls were nice and patient when I said I wanted a cartilage piercing but didn't know what kind of earring. They helped me pick a good stud so I can change it to a hoop later. My earring and service cost $78- a bit much for my college budget, but the service was worth it! The earrings they sell are very good quality. I definitely felt like I was in good hands. They gave me great care instructions and they let my friend film the piercing, too. I got my nips pierced here by Ashley and it was a great experience! I really appreciated the patience she had, especially since it was my first actual piercing (other than my lobes). I researched for a long time to find a trustworthy place and this one did not disappoint! Go no further when looking for a place to get a piercing! I got my cartilage pierced here and it was the best experience. Bink is a registered nurse, so I felt like I was in safe hands. All the jewelry is hypo allergenic which was great because I'm allergic to nickel. He used a needle to pierce my cartilage which, if you know anything about piercings, is so much safer then using a gun. Afterwards, I recieved emails from them checking up on me and asking how my ear was healing etc. My friend came with me and got her belly pierced. Again,  it was a quick and rather painless process. We both had great experiences. Only downside is if you want quality, you have to pay or it. I paid around $75 for my piercing (ouch!). But I'd rather do that then end up with an infection or shattered cartilage. Read Less

Per recommendation of my bestie, I came here with her to get our tragus piercings looked at, and the jewelry changed out. As always, walking into a piercing parlor is always pretty intimidating to me, when you see the person at the counter pierced up to the nines with gauges galore. She was a little disinterested in what we were doing, since we were so indecisive with what we wanted, but she checked out our piercings to tell us where they were in the healing process, which was helpful. I was able to choose the appropriate earring (the correct size/gauge) that would fit the earring back. I chose a pretty blue earring, and she changed it for me in a very sterile environment, where they would usually pierce ears. Everything was very clean and very professionally done. It bled a little, but that was due to my piercing not being 100% healed before changing it out. She promoted using saline to clean the piercing, as well as mild liquid soap. At the register, I checked in on Yelp and was able to get 10% off my purchase, yay basically, no sales tax..). It's relatively cheap here, regardless, so whenever I'm having piercing issues or creative ideas... I will have to make a stop here when I'm in town for the good deals and clean service. Read Less

I was originally scheduled with Zarah, but I had spoken with Marina via Facebook and email prior to my appointment. When I arrived at the shop, Marina happened to have stopped by and offered to do the piercing, even though it was her day off! What customer service! I liked her and felt comfortable with her, and she was professional, gentle, quick, and friendly.
