Phil is a great artist and a great person. That second trait was one of the main reasons why I have started going to his shop more often than others because of his ability to create a friendly and joyful experience. Definitely doesn't deserve the 3.4 rating he currently has on Google, just because he doesn't answer the phone. Just travel people.

Just wanted to let everyone know that Fishbone is an awesome place. Have had 3 family gets ink and 3 family members got piercings. Very clean and explains the procedure, explains the care of everything and also gives instruction sheet. I am an RN and believe me, this guys has exceptional sterile technique. I haven't gotten one yet, but when I do, I wouldn't go anyplace else.
