The Good, The bad {Luck}, and The Redemption. A little over 8 months ago I went to north Z-edge for a tattoo and walked out with a sloppy piece that fell out and blew up on some line work done by a former female artist. who turned out to be an apprentice. I am aware that her work does not stand for Z-edges normal high-end quality but it was under their "watchful" eye. I was very let down by that situation, and frankly adamant to return. Over those 8 months I ponied up and gave them another try. Joel blessed me with a gorgeous elbow piece. He was very nimble handed but lacked no technical percision in any way. He saved their name in my book and I would be happy to reference him to anyone. I will return for another piece by Joel garunteed. Although I hope that an apprentice will be watched more carefully in future situations. All in all it is an amazing shop. I came here for my first tattoo and to get my belly button done, I heard about this place through a friend and made my appearance at Z Edge. Justin was my artist and Danielle was my piercer. They both did an outstanding job. I was so scared to get my tattoo but Justin made me feel very comfortable and he was very patient with me. It tickled more than anything, I worked myself up for no reason! Great tattoo experience with him! When I got my belly button done I really didn't feel it, just a pinch but that's all. Believe or not, I hate needles; but Danielle is the most confident piercer I have had work on me and that makes each experience incredibly less terrifying. Was brought back quickly, experienced some of the best customer service I've ever had in a tattoo/piercing shop and was made to feel completely comfortable. At 41 I was scared to death to get a Tattoo...however it had a true meaning and I really wanted it....... of course without the pain or the fear of what it will look like no knowing the person that will do the work.From the moment I walked in they made me feel comfortable, answered all my questions and concerns. I could not find anything that I really wanted. One of the guys walked over to me and showed me a drawing that he did while I was talking to the other two people, describing what I wanted. It was perfect. I loved that it was mine no one else had it and it was made from my words and his talent! Craig was my artist and I could not have asked for a more friendly and professional artist to work on something that will be with me the rest of my life! During my fear while waiting for him to load up with ink I believe I changed my mind 3 times. Poor Craig just smiled and said "Whatever you want" There was no pressure from the workers. The other two men working were very friendly and talked to be about things while I sat in the chair. Craig was truly wonderful, I can't say that I will go back for my next tattoo...Because there will be no others however I would trust him with any of my friends and family.
