My wife and I got tattoos at Mockingbird while in town over the holidays, and Radha and her team were terrific. The shop is modern, clean, and looks extremely professional - fun art on the walls, comfortable seating, and just a nice vibe all around.Radha is the owner and did my tattoo, and she couldn't have had me more at ease for my FIRST tattoo. She's friendly, reliable (we had to make a flight out of Tampa that night, and had plenty of spare time), creative, and professional. As for pain, it was ~50% of what I'd expected for a 2.5 hr session, I was totally comfortable throughout, and the tattoo came out perfectly.My wife got a smaller tattoo by Jason, and he was also incredibly friendly, funny, and easy-going. Hers was a pretty simple fill-in between some other tattoos, but it looks excellent.We'll definitely be back next time we're in town, and I fully recommend Mockingbird if you're in the area. My wife and I live in Atlanta, and usually go to Siesta Key for a week once a year. I decide to check out tattoo artist in the area this time, and found there are several shops. After a little research I found Mockingbird. This shop definitely stood out above the rest. All of the artist do impressive work. After seeing Justin's work I decided to bring home a tattoo from this years vacation. When I showed his work to my wife she also decided she wanted a tattoo to be her beach souvenir too. We we able to both get appointments on the last day of our trip. When we got to the shop we were greeted by Justin and shown the drawings he had made for us. Mine was exactly what I wanted! My wife made a few revisions while I was getting tattooed. After mine was finished we took a lunch break while Justin made the adjustments on my wife's hourglass tattoo. When she came back it was exactly what she was looking for. We both could not be any happier with our tattoos. Justin went above and beyond to make sure we were happy. This is my 8th tattoo and I am over the moon with my butterfly/moth shoulder piece. Radha took my concept and brought it to life with her own artistic expression, she was professional and quick to reply via email with feedback about the design of my tattoo. I found Justin Forgea on Instagram here a while back and fell in love with his work. We communicated through a few messages and finally I went in to meet him and further discuss. The day I went, he unfortunately was not at the shop, but Jason was there and was super nice and told me to try again on the days he was there. So finally I met Justin and we discussed my ideas and immediately I knew this was the person to do my tattoo!  He was very open to my idea and understood exactly what I was looking for. As soon as I saw the sketch that he drew for me it was perfection!!!  I now have this outstanding, amazing, beautiful, colorful tattoo that I am absolutely over the moon for.  Justin is very professional and open to small changes and super easy to work with.
