It's okay, the service was great. I got a nose piercing and it was great and I got a tattoo and that that was great as well. The biggest problem is that they only have one space for tattooing and it's not a private area. It's open so everyone can see you. Regardless of where I get my tattoo, I would still like some privacy. Read Less

I had my first Tattoo ever with Shane. I picked this location based on the art and tattoos that Shane has posted online, in addition to the reviews I read. Shane was awesome, he gave me exactly what I wanted and he was fun to talk to while he worked on my tattoo. He is a great guy and I don’t see him as being prejudiced as one other customer mentioned. My family is very multicultural. My husband is black and my daughter-in law is Puerto Rican. As a result my grandchildren are all shades and each are beautiful. My oldest granddaughter wanted a tattoo after turning 18 in May so I took her to Shane & he was amazing with her. Got my first piercings ever done here with the kind, patient, and amazing Melissa! She really takes special care in making sure her measurements are perfect, is knowledgeable about all the aspects of her craft, and treats customers with respect and individual care. There aren't words to describe the perfection that is Ink Ink Tattoos. Shayne was able to take a description of my idea and create the most beautiful piece of art. And the process was so quick and easy. I'm now the proud owner of two tattoos by Shayne and won't ever go anywhere else in the future. My other three tattoos from different shops all have mistakes but the two done here are flawless. The word "artist" doesn't do Shayne justice. The environment is inviting, unless your skin is dark. My daughter and I walked in as she was so excited to get her first tattoo for her 18th birthday. I was asking the tattoo artist questions based on the tattoo design that my daughter wanted. He gave me cold answers as if I was a bother to him. As I was asking him for guidance on other ideas for a good first tattoo because her original design was too detailed and costly, he pulled out a cigarette and began to walk outside. As he was walking out, a white gentleman walked in and asked for help. It was then that the tattoo artist walked back inside to give him assistance. My daughter and I stood there as he and the other gentleman picked and discussed his tattoo. We watched as the finalized it, exchanged information and set the appointment for the following Saturday. Once he got done helping that gentleman, he and the original young lady that assisted us in the beginning walked outside as he lit his cigarette and they began to communicate. We stood there for a few minutes until we realized that no one was going to help us. At that time, my daughter walked out first upset and I walked out behind her in disgust. As we walked out, we walked right past the staff outside and no one even acknowledged us... We will we never visit there again and all of Sanford will know what happened! Read Less
