Took my niece to Lucky You for a tattoo. She'd worked with the artist at her former place of employment and had previously given the woman a deposit, 1/2 the cost of the session and given her an idea of what she wanted. Time and a few changes later and finally my niece was able to get her tattoo done, She'd not yet seen the idea, a Frog, and given that she's afraid of them, she didn't know what to expect. The sketch she got was nothing short of adorable and amazing. The actual tattoo room is clean, smells good and is well lit. Their tables are nicely padded and it didn't take long at all for the ink to be laid into her skin. My niece has a beautiful, one of a kind froggy on her forearm that she totally loves.

This review is regarding LYT as a community space (I do not have experience with the tattoo artists but I know they’re lovely people). LYT is an all ages venue for events creating a much needed inclusive space for the Bay Area. I always feel safe and welcomed by the staff. It’s spacious and polished inside which creates a modern, comfortable setting for any occasion.

Alicia is my go to for all my tattoos, she's never disappointed and all her work is beautiful. I recommend her to everyone! Morgan does really good work too as I have an ankle piece we're currently working on. Both girls are great and make the experience super comfortable!! Lucky you also hosts diy shows that's all ages! It's a really fun atmosphere and if you're new to the area and looking for a shop to get a tattoo I definitely recommend this shop!

I loved this shop! It was so inviting with all of the really cool artwork on the walls, the music was chill and the artists were really friendly and accomodating! I walked in without an appointment in the evening and was able to get a piece with Alicia! She was stellar and made me super comfortable. She has a softer hand so she wasn't drilling the crud out of me! My piece is beautiful, clean and the process went smoothly! She corrected an error that we noticed in the tattoo and no one even notices when I show them! People ask me where I got it done all the time and I always tell them with Pride! Definitely would recommend Lucky You Tattoo!

She made sure I knew aftercare and communicated clearly what prices would be like for this sort of piece. Alicia is super nice and i always felt welcomed when I went in for each session. I absolutely love her work and appreciate all the time and patience she gave me as a customer. 100% satisfied and have recommended her to quite a few people. I always get compliments on the work she did.

I have been lucky enough to have two pieces done by the artists at this studio. The first was a knight warrior which was done by Kelly. The second was an American Flag Bald Eagle cover up, which was done Douglas. Both experiences were fantastic. My wife has also had two pieces done by Zachary, she is very pleased with her tattoos. I tagged along and seeing how clean, welcoming, and chill the place was- got a tattoo myself. (My first!) For anyone looking for a tattoo or piercing place I would highly recommend this one. The artist, Douglass Hoppe, completed my tattoo. He was very professional, calm, and and pretty chill to work with. This shop also holds events like painting classes, shows with local artists, and even Monster Truck Rallies. Overall, I will be a returning customer and you should be on too!

She was courteous, knowledgeable and just as importantly, she know what she was doing with a tattoo needle. She had me in and out in no time. Took my niece to Lucky You for a tattoo. She'd worked with the artist at her former place of employment and had previously given the woman a deposit, 1/2 the cost of the session and given her an idea of what she wanted. Time and a few changes later and finally my niece was able to get her tattoo done, She'd not yet seen the idea, a Frog, and given that she's afraid of them, she didn't know what to expect. The sketch she got was nothing short of adorable and amazing. The actual tattoo room is clean, smells good and is well lit. Their tables are nicely padded and it didn't take long at all for the ink to be laid into her skin. My niece has a beautiful, one of a kind froggy on her forearm that she totally loves.

I tagged along and seeing how clean, welcoming, and chill the place was- got a tattoo myself. (My first!) For anyone looking for a tattoo or piercing place I would highly recommend this one. The artist, Douglass Hoppe, completed my tattoo. He was very professional, calm, and and pretty chill to work with. This shop also holds events like painting classes, shows with local artists, and even Monster Truck Rallies. Overall, I will be a returning customer and you should be on too!

I had a great artist, Kelley Healey, do some work for me a few days ago. I couldn't be more pleased with her professionalism and outstanding quality of work. She was courteous, knowledgeable and just as importantly, she know what she was doing with a tattoo needle. She had me in and out in no time. She tailored the tattoo to the size and specs I Wanted and did a marvelous job. I'll be back shortly for color and more soon!-Nelson
