We are a tattoo studio based in St. Petersburg, Florida. Originally from Milwaukee, Wisconsin, where in 1998, I began my career as a tattoo artist under Scott Verville at American Tattoo Studio. I've spent the past years traveling coast to coast, working alongside many great tattoo artist's... Perfecting my tattoo skills and learning various techniques from others along the way.

Bob did such a good job and I'm super happy with the results of my tattoo. I came in with a style that wasn't exactly something he usually does, and he made it his own and give me his advice and I was so happy and in the end. I also came in kind of late in the evening and he still fit me in after closing time. He was very reasonable with his prices and didn't overcharge me like other places tried to. I have been recommending him to everyone, as I've been getting compliments all the time. Thank you so much Bob!

Go see Bob at Commitment Tattoo. I had wanted a 1/2 sleeve and had an idea of design but wasn't fully set on design. Bob's design was better than what I could have expected. He asked questions that made the design catered to me personally. He did a portrait of my pug as well and really put in detail of her specific features. You really know it is of my dog and not a random dog. Go see Bob!!!!

Been there for 2 sittings now and enjoy the atmosphere and Bob himself. Nice and comfortable and quite. For a first experience with tattoos he did a great job for my 1st sitting making me comfortable.

I went to Bob Hey with a terrible start of a sleeve. He took the time and did a great cover up. If you want a REAL ARTIST you need to see Bob Hey. I will definitely be back for my next tattoo

I had 37 year old bad ink I needed covered up. I went to a few shops in the area and did my research online. I finally called Bob, set up an appointment to discuss a design and options. Great artist, but terrible at logging scheduled appointments. It wouldn't have been a big issue if I lived in the area, but I didn't. It didn't happen just once, but every time after my initial session. After the third time, it was enough,even though my tattoo still isn't complete. It's not like I didn't tip well either, happy artist equals a great tattoo. But apparently that wasn't enough to get him to correctly or actually write down an appointment.

I'm very very happy with my tattoo, it's black and grey and was all line work and Christian hit it out of the park! I could not be happier with my experience at commitment tattoo!

Bob is BAR NONE the best Tattooist around. Wish I knew about him before. But from here on out I'll be coming back for all my Tattoos. Hes VERY creative and his work is CLEAN and ive never experience...

Bob is a very talented tattoo artist. I had a full sleeve done as a cover-up piece and am very happy with his work. You would never know that there was a previous tattoo beneath the new work. Everything about the process was professional and clean.The work I had done took several visits and I never felt rushed at all. Bob takes his time and does the job with the utmost care and artistic ability. I am definitely going to travel back to FL from NY when I'm ready for my next piece. I don't think I'd let anyone else under my skin.

I'm soooo impressed and quite frankly flabbergasted ...the shading of my new tattoos and the design done by Bob freestyle I migh ad, not to mention the brilliance of the cover up of a very bad tattoo...
I'm soooo impressed and quite frankly flabbergasted ...the shading of my new tattoos and the design done by Bob freestyle I migh ad, not to mention the brilliance of the cover up of a very bad tattoo done by someone else who is all mouth ...I feel like I've been saved walking around with a silly grin on my face :))) The snake by Bob was finished yesterday so still a tad fresh...the butterflies a bad job by all mouth had to be retouched by Bob and under the tree for Kai use...d to be a really bad tattoo also done by all mouth...I dont know how you did it Bob but I'm so happy with the outcome ...might I ad it is refreshing to meet someone as outspoken honest and artistic as you Thank you so much Bob ...can't wait to see what will magically appear on my arm next time ....... Not only are these guys amazing people they are real artists! Aaron covered one of the ugliest tattoos i have ever seen (on myself, that i dont want to talk about) and I get nothing but compliments on it, no one believes it is a cover up because there is absolutely no trace of it, even though it was a solid black little thing. Clean line work, good blending and color, and a super light hand. Dont go anywhere else.
