Having recently moved out to the St Pete area, I wanted a tattoo to commemorate the fresh start. After reviewing artist portfolios up and down the peninsula, I felt that Amulet Tattoos had the overall highest quality work in styles I liked. In particular, I chose Dean as my artist. I had a design with me that she was able to trace and clean up within a few minutes, and we got right down to it. She was professional, friendly, gave good advice re: color, placement, and aftercare, and prices were fair. Shop is unique and very cool--open layout, so be prepared if you are baring lots of skin. Went to Amulet on a few recommendations and glad I did. Was my first tattoo so I first stopped in with some questions and met Charlie, who was awesome and really helpful. You can tell he really puts his heart into his work. I booked an appointment for later that same day and am really happy with the results. Charlie was nice and patient and made me feel comfortable.
