I went here almost 6 years ago for my first tattoo and had a great experience. Went back recently (twice!) because I remember it being so great. It was even better these last two times. My sisters and I went in for 'sister tattoos'. We honestly weren't well prepared in what exactly we wanted and of course we all wanted different sizes and colors but they were patient and helpful... Got three tattoos from here first was high price and lacked alot of detail and the artist santana blared metal music the whole time and it is already faded after 5 months and second was amazing by jeremy thompson i got a huge piece so i went back and got another piece and it is awesome i love it and will only go to him I recommend him to everyone just wish the owner came around more wish i could get a piece by her . And in a response to your post yes i have talked to a few people at your shop but santana is only in a couple days a week now and i am only off on weekends so cannot schedule a touch up so i will just end up paying for a touch up i just wish sofia Was still around . Used to like this place, Got a tattoo in June 2010 during my honeymoon to saint Augustine, ok work Visited saint Augustine from Pennsylvania in June 2014 on my anniversary, wife and I got matching tattoos, two days after, the line work looked poor. When I emailed the store they told me no problem stop in next time you are in town and we will touch them up, no charge. Explained I lived in Pennsylvania they said no problem, stop in next time you visit. Moved to saint augustine July 2015, when we got here I emailed them about the touch up, no response, forwarded a copy of the email saying I could get a touch up at no charge, no response. Called got put on hold for twenty minutes, so I hung up. I have given up, Sadly I will not be returning. Read Less

I've been here multiple times and am honestly surprised I keep coming back. Recently, as in a few months  ago, my tattoo artist SPELT MY TATTOO WRONG and was not apologetic about it at all. The manager at the time, the owners son, was the only one concerned about this situation and offered a refund or to come in and receive my next tattoo free. Still panicked from this perminant mistake, I couldn't make a descion and decided to pay the $60 and told him that I'll come back in a few days to let them know if I want my money back, or if I wanted another tattoo. But then I realized why the hell would I go back to a place that spelt my tatttoo wrong even after multiple conversations on the spelling (I thought we were finally on the same page and was nothing to worry about and because of how nasious I get around needles I wasn't paying attention to him tattoo me). Big mistake. After I looked down and saw that he had used an A where there should have been an O. I finally received a refund after I had to practically damand it back considering miss D, the owner herself, was fighting me on it. She said that the tattoo was still a finished product and therefor should be paid for. WHAT?! IT WAS SPELT WRONG ON MY BODY FOREVER!!!She said she'd only give a refund if I didn't write a bad review on yelp about them... but I'm here today because bribing your customer to give false reviews is not honest and does not reflect a good business. I was down for a mini vacation and a couple girls and i decided to get tattoos and pierced. The location is fabulous, a 5 min walk to down town st. Augustine. So our wait was enjoyable. The owner was very nice and Santana was our tattoo artist and he was full of life and very fun. It made our experience there wonderful. Thank you for a great experience. Brian made this life long choice an unforgettable experience as well. Having not had any ink done in over a decade, just walking into a studio is a daunting endeavor to some, if not many. But on Feb. 3rd I waltzed into the studio and was greeted warmly by a young lady(sorry I can't remember her name) who jovially made me feel welcomed, and not like an intruder. Brian had just finished with another client and when informed of my inquiry he accepted to look at my wanted tattoo and gave a fair offer within minutes. I said the money would be delivered within 30 minutes, he said it was not an issue and was ready to start tattooing before then... awesome! My choice tattoo (which he personalized for me with subtlety) was of the Ouroboros. Inked right in a sensitive spot known as "the ditch". Brian executed it perfectly, all the while keeping me engaged with great conversations that were sometimes personal, but also at times just mindless banter at the more sensitive areas being inked as to keep my focus off the pain. Which brings up another point... Brian did not make light of the area to be tattooed. He said it will hurt. To be honest it was not that bad. Maybe the guy has the magic touch, or maybe his engaging conversations were artfully used at the most sensitive areas without me being fully aware... whatever the case maybe, it's now almost 2 weeks later as I post, my new tattoo is almost healed, and I am 100% satisfied! Got my tragus pierced here. Don't remember the name of the piercer but Amber Lynn assisted and helped me pick out what I wanted. Everyone was extremely nice, place was clean. Price is higher than where I am from, but maybe comparable to St. Augustine. Honestly picked here to get it done because of location. We were staying in the historic district and they are within an easy walking distance. I didn't feel like driving because I am lazy like that. Will go back to get an industrial piercing soon. My 11 year old finally met the requirements to get her ears pierced. She had to be able to take care of the holes she started life with before she got any additional ones. I did a ton of research about how professional piercers were the best way to go if you wanted a piercing that your body wouldn't reject. A needle is much less traumatic than a puncture wound from a gun. I was impressed that they required a notarized form for piercing a child under the age of 18. It's not required, but they go the extra mile for safety. The piercer was incredibly knowledgeable, and set both of us at ease. He was finished before she even realized he started. 12 hours later, and she's already forgotten that she got her ears pierced. Zero pain! I highly recommend Fountain of Youth for youth piercings (also for tattoos, I got one there back in '09. Incredibly vivid colors). Read Less

Went to St. Augustine for a couple days as a surprise to my hunny. I had my throat pierced, but took it out quite a while ago. I decided I wanted it done again, plus I needed a replacement ball for my madonna.I did some research, and read some reviews... I'm really really really picky about studios, but this one sounded like a winner. We showed up, immediately impressed by the quirky space it was in. Loved the look, so we went inside. The first guy we spoke to was the friendliest person I've ever dealt with in a studio before. He was very willing to do whatever he could to help us out however we needed. We talked for a few, and he went to get Erin (the piercer) so I could ask her a few questions. I automatically felt so at ease about Ms Deborah's. Erin was amazing... simply amazing. She took her time and spoke with me about making my piercing perfect. She genuinely cared how I felt and how it looked. She has been the best piercer I have ever had the pleasure of doing business with. Went here wanting a spur-of-the-moment tattoo. We were on vacation about 3 hrs from home. Went inside and inquired if they would have time to do a touch up. They said they could squeeze us in. Once the guy started working on the tattoo, he started saying how he was pushed for time and had another scheduled appointment coming in soon, so he started to rush. Eventually his other appointment came in, early, and the two of them started to talk about what tattoo she wanted. He became distracted and stopped tattooing my husband to flirt and talk with this girl. My husband finally snapped and told the girl to "get out" so his tattoo could get "some-what" finished. She shouldn't have been in the room in the first place. VERY unprofessional. We left with a half-done job and were WAY overcharged. We even contacted the owner and told her our situation and she had nothing to say. Terrible business. Read Less
