I've never taken the time to write a review, but my experience was so bad I don't want it to happen to anyone else. I went here a while back, the service was sub-par and brand new nail broke off the next day on the eve of me starting a new job. Months had passed and I was in a pinch, so I decided to go back with an open mind for a second chance. Big mistake. I was there for HOURS, and walked out with a fill that was the single-most horrendous looking nail service I've ever had. I had been there so long and there seemed to be no improvement in the aesthetics on my nails, so we cut our losses and I'm paying someone else to fix them. That being said, my pedicure was adequate and my toes looked fine. On top of the 1 star quality nail service, the manager still made sure to nickel and dime each chance provided so my mom and I overpaid for this experience. I will not return here. i came to get an eyebrow threading and not only did she not ask what I wanted done to my brows but she also insulted my skin. I struggle with acne and during the threading she hit an acne scab on my face which cause a tiny bit of bleeding. i told her not to worry about it because i just have sensitive skin and she proceeded to not only point out my acne in front of everyone but to also tell me repeatedly that my skin was bad and that i needed to take better care of it. I was deeply offended and upset and my eyebrows came out so thin i never wanted to go back. Do NOT recommend. Read Less

I started bringing my daughter her last summer as she wanted to get her very thick eyebrows shaped for the first time. I heard about threading so we came to Amazing Brow. We love all the ladies here! This place was by far the worst ever!! Worst customer service Ive had in a long time. The ladies seemed unexperienced, and very rude. After expressing my dissatification on the brows I was told there was nothing they can do. I went to get my nails done and at first glance they looked nice. The next day the paint was chipping (I paid for gel so this shouldn't happen) and went back to get them fixed. The second day one of the nails completely fell off. I didn't even do anything difficult for this to happen. I've been many places and never had this happen. To pay more money than I spend elsewhere and have this happen was really upsetting. The woman was very nice but the quality was extremely lacking. I wanted to like this place but was very let down. Love stopping in for threading & waxing. They have new pedicure chairs that feel amazing. The spa is clean and everyone is very friendly. I recommend the spa pedicure: sugar scrub, & a mud mask with hot towels is beyond relaxing. I love that they have OPI Polish. Read Less

My best friend and I each purchased Groupon's for a "girls day" on the day after New Years: January 2, 2017; we both carefully read the Groupon and saw that there WERE no restrictions, so we planned our girls day around being there. It being a holiday, the location only had ONE TRAINED TECHNICIAN ON, there was another young woman who walked around and watched the technician and played on her phone. We told her we had purchased the Groupon certificates and she said that "they are only good for HENNA services?!?" Um, what?!? It stated in the Groupon ALL SERVICES. But, since we were there and I also had received a gift certificate for Christmas for amazing Brow and since my friend had driven from Daytona so we just decided to stay. We contacted Groupon and were able to cancel our purchases and made a complaint with them. The amazing Brow technician put my friend in a pedicure chair, put her finger nails in little cups of acetone balanced on her lap to soak off her acrylic nails and put her feet in Walter, there she was left for OVER TWO HOURS. The water got cold a few times and the staff who couldn't do anything and I had to change out the water and heat it up. Both the staff person and the technician kept playing on their phones as well and complaining that there wasn't enough staff. When the technician finally started my gel manicure, I explained to her that I needed her to be really CAREFUL with my cuticles and nails because I have a severe clotting disorder and am on blood thinners. For the first time in my life, I had a manicure where the technician didn't soak my nails in water before pushing back my cuticles, WHICH CAUSED ME TO BLEED-  ( AGAIN - WHO DOES NOT USE WATER TO SOAK THE CUTICLES WHEN DOING A MANICURE?!?)  my cuticles still look awful by the way. The store kept filling up with people who were frustrated wanting services and the technician kept lying saying - "wait 15 minutes and come back." When they returned the staff person without training nor a certificate would thread their eye brows. I can not believe the wasted time with ONE STAFF PERSON only able to do services on a holiday?!? There where a lot of people sitting in here and finally walking out. The technician finally did my friends pedicure - at this point we had been there for 3 HOURS...please note that I had asked her to just paint my toes in the beginning and she kept commenting on how too tiny they are. We FINALLY LEFT AFTER FOUR HOURS - I then messaged the main "Amazing Brow" in Jacksonville and got the phone number to speak to a manager or owner. He was so rude blaming Groupon for everything and saying I could use the Groupon for threading in a rude tone as if he were doing me a grand favor. I explained that I had returned it and already left the establishment and would not ever be returning. Read Less

This is the only salon I can get my nails done at and not have my cuticles end up bleeding. I love getting my nails done here and will never go back to eyebrow waxing now that I have tried the threading. They are quick and priced great! Never again! Went here tonight for face wax. I have been here before for eyebrow threading, and I'm used to the fact that they never have enough people working there so long waits to get eyebrows threaded. Today was no different. The woman who started waxing me actually interrupted a manicure she was doing. She was very rough and hasty and started making a mess dropping wax all over my clothing and applied wax to large areas of my face using only one large paper to rip it all off. She even applied wax to my cheeks even after I told her I didn't want them waxed. When I was finished I had streaks of Wax all over my face and in my hair. I've been getting my face waxed for over 17 years and have never had a bad experience like this... I have been icing it for the last 4 hours but my cheeks are bright red and irritated and everything is sticking to the sides of my face. I will never come back here again and I definitely plan on reporting this business to the Better Business Bureau. Read Less

I was stuck at the mall for a few hours so decided to get my nails done. Meni/pedi. Needless to say I don't like the way my nails look at all!!!! I got gel Polish put on my hands and a day and a half later one nail completely peeled off.. I spent $65 here with tip and I will never do it again. 2 days later my toes are chipped. So pissed!!!! I mentioned that the wax seemed too hot to my "waxer", I was assured it was not. I should have followed my instincts and left immediately. Instead, I suffered through a very uncomfortable experience. I've been getting my brows waxed for years, so I'm quite used to what it SHOULD feel like. Needless to say, I left with stinging, red brows. The next morning, one of my eyes was completely swollen shut, the other one almost shut. The follow day I had blisters.  Now, four days later, I'm left with itchy scabs on both eyes. I've been to them regularly for the last few months and do not think I'll go back to waxing. They charge $12 for it. My sister and I did henna here and it didn't even last two days and the manager wouldn't give us a refund or fix or henna for us after we paid $45 each and tipped $10. I would not recommend this place. Rude and greedy people . They don't care about their customers just about their money. Read Less

I have been coming here to have my eyebrows threaded for sometime. They do a great job. Decided today to try a pedicure. Place was empty except for one employee. Asked what I wanted and asked if I had an appointment. Said no but then she said she could take me. Massage chairs are old, not the cleanest place I've seen. She was kind of curt at first but started to warm up as I asked her about herself. Not sure that I'll return for pedi but will for brows. Read Less
